Great intelligent review. Well balanced; not pushing any cart and nice to see it compared to the SMT and the comments made as to the relevance and value of each bike to particular riders.

the hypermotard and hyperstrada are beautiful, fantastic bikes. I just couldnt see myself riding either of them all winter long in the nasty, rainy weather. Not that they wouldnt be capable, they are just too beautiful and bespoke for me to bring myself to abuse them like that!

Saudi Arabia. Ya know, some rich people in here buy ducatis only to put them as trophies in their homes, can you believe that?

Front looks like scooter or enduro/MX bike. Check out fronn of FJ-09 (MT-09 Tracer).

someone should tell you that town is not just a "historic place in tuscany" but VOLTERRA, and that the ktm is an old engine and bike project, and on the contrary the Ducati is an ALL new one, starting from the hypermotard from which it comes from, with the new testastretta engine (also the Ducati Streetfighter), a fantastic new engine, but if do not notice it probably it's not worth telling you all this. in fact I am speaking to the other people here, hoping some have a thinner cut on things

This "historic place in tuscany" is not Volterra, it's the Piazza Grande in the voillage called "Montepulciano". And the little village where the Hyperstrada is standing on water is "Bagno Vignoni". Two great places to stop for coffee and to ride your motorbike.
