Even if there is no big difference in price, I would still go for the S9 Plus over the S9 Ultra. The S9 Plus is more manageable and more practical for daily use and for travel.

I adore my S9+. I decided not to buy ultra because I wanted to use the tablet at home, but also to carry it when I travel. Even 9+ is heavy, but still manageable. Travelling with ultra would be extremely difficult especially if you also have to carry other technical equipment
I own the tab s9+.. it's 15 days now.. whenever I see s9 ultra I feel like having it instead of s9+.. so the truth is once you have ultra you never wish to have s9+ but if you have plus you will always fall for ultra whenever you see it.. (I hope my s9+ is not listening 😂😅)
I can't just imagine myself taking out a gigantic S9 Ultra on a plane or in a train for reading, etc. But for those bedridden in nursing homes and still wanting to read can place an S9 Ultra on top of the overbed table and read with zoomed out text.
I had the Ultra and it was just too unwieldy for me. Although visually it's really attractive, on a practical level it just didn't work. Especially when typing with my thumbs (which I do a lot of).
@@TheHUhelps I can completely understand.. It all boils down to personal preference at the end.. I finally sold my S9 plus 2 weeks ago.. Ultra made a mark on my mind.. Not getting a S9 series anymore.. Waiting for Apple's launch next month.. if not satisfied then will directly jump into S10 ultra.. For now I am happy to receive my Money back..
@@theaccountax I returned my S9 Ultra and exchanged it with s9+ and some accessories. With S9+ I can handhold the device doing some computing tasks without it being too unwieldy like the S9 Ultra. 'Defeats the purpose of tablets if you can't hold it properly in your hands.
I am a pastor and I had the tab S8 ultra and loved it on the desktop. However, when I would take it to the pulpit or travel, it was just too big and awkward. So, I traded it for the S9 plus. That was the perfect fit. Just the right size for portability and use from the pulpit. I am not a video creator or artist, mostly PowerPoint and Word. Perfect for my use case and need.

I went with the S9 Ultra and I'm enjoying every moment with it. I find myself using it a lot more than I planned to. I barely pick up my ipad pro now. I do wish more apps were optimized for tablets but having so much flexibility with multitasking windows helps with that. I actually use Dex too. The only thing I don't really use are the s-pen gestures. It's cool to have but I haven't quite gotten the hang of them yet. However, the s-pen is fantastic. I'm glad it was included because I use it a lot. The keyboard is expensive but I'm finding it very useful especially with microsoft docs, spreadsheets and general typing.

Hi really like review. I just have a question which may sound dumb to most of the people. I'm a digital marketer and i run lots of google and fb ads, plus social media management, excel, little bit of video edits and a lot of research. Most of the time I'm out on trip with my friends. So can Tab s9 8/128 variant (don't want plus or ultra my pocket won't allow me) replace my laptop while I'm out on a trip just for a day or two?
And should I go for 8 gb ram or 12gb ram for long term use? And i do have powerbank so battery is not an issue. Plz reply thanks a lot and all the very best for future❤❤

Went from S8 Plus 5G to S9 Ultra 5G, that size and thin bezels looks absolutely amazing.
Why do people want tiny bezels on a tablet? I suppose its like thinner and thinner stuff is promoted as desirable; despite meaning smaller glued in batteries, being more difficult to handle, difficult to fix, cracks in screen rather than in the protective bezel and more generally more breakable.
What screen setting do you have it set on? Vivid or natural? That coke video looked so realistic!!!

I have a Tab S8 Plus (in the past I also had the Ultra but I changed it after a few months, beautiful screen but too big for my needs) and I would like to upgrade to the Tab S9 Plus; Do you think the difference is so obvious? I mean battery life and performance of the new processor, considering that I don't use it for work but for entertainment (movies, youtube, web browsing, google earth)
What is your hand span to be able to palm the S9 ultra?
I have owned the S8 and S9 Plus versions. I used both for email, entertainment and lite business. Love both. I used the S8 Plus for about a year and a half. Then I traded it in to Samsung who gives me the same trade in value as I paid for the tablet. Wirth the S9 Samsung even threw in a keyboard case.

You don't need a SIM to connect to the internet, that's what a Wifi is designed for. Just go to Settings and turn on Wifi.

I already had a 7+ from when it came out (2020 version) years ago. So I decided to go with the 9 Ultra this time. I do not regret it. The thing is an awesome tablet. And since I still have the 7+, I can use that when I want something smaller or something that can go with me on the road and not panic if it was stolen.

I agree the plus is a better model for comfort. I think for efficiency, the Ultra is better. For me I am an artist, so the bigger screen works out much better for drawing apps.
I paid $378 to upgrade from the S8 Ultra 256 to S9 Ultra 512 GB. What’s not to like to like especially with the adaptive AMOLED screen .Love the S9 Ultra and Samsung continues to offer tremendous trade in value
I picked up the tab s9 plus. Why? Its the biggest with 5g. I need 5g for work so I had to go with the plus. Man , after playing with the ultra I love it but kinda big to carry around and use on the road. My office is my truck and the plus fits well . THIS THING IS A BEAST! Very happy with it :)
Yeah I'm thinking about sending my ultra back for the s9 plus. Just don't feel like going through the hassle.

Still rocking the Tab S8...it a great tablet, but personally, I've experienced sudden app crashes😢 (sometimes not always)
I would highly recommend getting the Tab S9 series if anyone plans to get their first Samsung tablet. In my opinion, 8Gen2 is way better than 8Gen1. I've been using the S23 for months, and the experience has been phenomenal 😍
Will be my first upgrade after my very first tablet which is the Samsung Tab S7 faced some issues regarding water resistance as its SD card slot has begun failing.
The IP 68 of Tab S9 will look fantastic for that purpose!

I was excited to get the S9 until I learned it was Wifi only and did not offer and data plan capabilities. Very dissapointed in Samsung and for that reason I will not purchase it.
S9 is available, or I should say will be available with data, but some models are slow to arrive.
S9+ model has it as an option. S9 Ultra still does not.

Here in Europe, you can't get an S8 or S9 for anywhere near 600 euros. Best bet would be an older tablet like the S6, S7+ or S7 FE. I have an S6 tablet but plan to upgrade to the S9 Plus soon.

I just got rid of my S9 and got the S9+. I use it as a second screen a lot now, and the keyboard cover is MUCH more useable. I plug it into my Rog Ally and the keyboard and trackpad all work, so it's like having a tablet and windows laptop all in one.

I use super display, but you can also use the built in one and just change your projection mode on your pc, and it'll do it automatically @@jsandiego1

cant believe all the size comparison portable etc lol its 2" bigger man its not really that much different, i felt like you kept guiding people to the plus. i have a 7FE 11.4" and its not much bigger. the ultra has a way better screen 20% better/bigger speakers guy. yikes i thought the review was superposed to be something diff than what it was. pretty disappointed.
Most people consider 2" a huge difference. It's the difference between a 13" laptop and a 15".

After trying out the Tab S9 at Best Buy, I decided to cancel my Tab S9+ order due to PWM. It started to bother my eyes after two minutes of usage. Samsung really dropped the ball by ditching LCD on the regular Tab S9.

@@sape1315PWM stands for Pulse Width Modulation. It is a method that manufacturers use to control the display brightness. This is found on most OLED displays. When the brightness is adjusted, it causes the screen to flicker which can result in nausea and headaches for those who are sensitive to it.
