I love the Tab S line right now, it's all about the size you need/prefer and not a bunch of other important hardware components removed from base model to ultra

I have the S9+ and there's a part of me that wishes I had gotten the S9 instead, because when I'm using it as a tablet (held with both hands), it's harder to reach the center of the screen.
I went to the shop to see difference size between S9 and S9+. In just few moments I have realised that with S9+ if i hold tablet with both hands i also cant reach the center of the screen 😂. With S9+ i didnt like to hold it with my hands, it is too big, to heavy. So yes i took the regular S9 😊. It is a small, badass portable worhorse.

@@itsAJ819 I've gotten a little used to the size now, but I do also often use the tablet on a table with an external keyboard. If you're primarily going to be holding it with your hands while using it, definitely consider the base S9 over the Plus.
Im on the other side of the spectrum, part of me wants to return the S9 and buy S9+ but the price difference is 200 euro here and that is way too much for few inches, I prefer the silver, white pen on S9, they dont sell the S9+ here, with this color variation. Im really torn..:D

The regular and plus are very similar, and if u go with either, the real difference it between plus and ultra, and if you're a heavy multitasker, then get the ultra the regular and plus are going to kinda feel cramped the ultra is more on par with laptop. If probability is the thing going for, either will please you, and if u could find the plus for similar price I'd say go for that
I think the S9+ has just the perfect size. I'm going to replace my S8 Ultra that I recently still had and already ordered the S9+, because the ultra one was too big for me. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Just for size alone, I feel like the Plus is the largest size I want a tablet to be. At the size of the Ultra, I feel like I should just buy a... Galaxy Book, where I can use Window, a more familiar OS.

I have the S9 regular, to get the most out of the screen estate: 1 hide or turn off the app task bar, 2 zet zoom to smallest at display settings. Really helped with maximizing the vertical space.
I was looking at the S8+ on sale and an open box S9 for a little cheaper than the sale price of the S8+ and after getting the S9, I think I would have definitely regretted getting the S8+. The S9 compared to my old iPad Mini already feels gigantic and a lot heavier, and I don't think the 12.4 would've worked for me at all, though if Samsung refreshes or does something for a Tab S10, I would consider trading in the S9 and trying out a future S10+ if they make one, maybe I would like it then.
8 gen 3 is gonna be on tsmc and its smashing in both cpu gpu and ai..id say get it if you can trade it in raelly good..

I now have an iPad Pro 11 inch from 2018, but should I buy the Tab S9 for its OLED screen or an iPad Pro or iPad Air? I now have everything from Apple for the time being, but Apple is becoming very expensive, the new iPad Pro with OLED 11 inch 1400, so I am thinking of the Tab S9?

I love the plus side but I got it and the screen was a bit yellow compared to others, thats why I gave it back. I think I will get the tab s9 because of this but I mainly watch stuff on it so I am also considering tab s9 ultra but that one is heavy and not portable. I wish the plus one didnt have that problem
Samsung tends to use a warmer calibration on amoleds from what I've seen. I'm comparing my s6 lite with the s9 and you can see the yellower whites but it's not so noticeable. Sadly you can't control white balance in natural mode, only on vivid.
Did the S9 you have got the same problem like the S9 plus or no?

Hey Teoh! Thanks to this video, I bought an s9+ and added a plastic sheet on the screen to protect it from scratches, but now the writing experience is not as smooth, should I replace it with tempered glass or something else you recommend?
Is it a matte screen protector? Tempered glass will be as smooth as original glass
Hey! An S7+ user here. The tempered glass doesn't "improve" the writing experience, although it protects the device screen. I have been using one for over two years now, and as a student, it doesn't get in the way of writing. I also observed that the matte screen tends to wear out the pen tip.
Man I'm torn between the two. A part of me wants the plus for the better productivity for school and the other part wants the convenient smaller form of the 11 inch
If you don’t have external monitor, it may be better to get the bigger screen.
I have the 11 inch ipad pro. but now I want a bigger one. I would probably go bigger if I were you. it will be a bit heavier. not sure how much the form factor will be a factor (it's wide/tall)

do you notice any significant difference between the two screens? is the plus screen worse in any way? I saw some posts online and got a bit worried as they claimed the image on the s9+ was washed out and yellowish compared to the other versions. I just got the s9+, as I think it is the perfect size for me. It haven't arrived yet, but this screen thing is bothering me.
mine hasn't had any issues not even my previous s7+

Those are HDR brightness which only appears when watching HDR content

Can you please help me. I'm confused between choosing s9 vs s9+. I'm a teacher and tired of carrying laptop to each classroom I go. My main purpose is portability, using word, excel and little drawing and videos presentation. I do multitasking also. Can I connect it to projector in classroom. Which one would suit me. S9 or s9+?
The bigger screen is better if you use split screen, SamsungDex and as a wireless external display often. If not, you can go with S9.

Do you think that the s9+ FE is better for school than the regular S9? Split screen is not my main use, but I would use it sometimes to open 2 PDFs. I can only afford one of those, but I wonder if the S9+FE is worth the downgrade in specs for a bigger screen. The regular S9 also comes with a keyboard in my country, which makes it harder to choose.

@ayotsukki3887 I just bought the S9 FE+, I haven't used much since it just arrived, but I'm very happy with my decision. Screen size is perfect for me, it's great for note taking, and image quality for some casual netflix is also amazing. If you have the extra cash, go for the regular S9, but I see that as a luxury, not a necessity, if you don't have money to spare, you'll be super happy with the FE+

I think the s9 is too small, at least for me, I was quite surprised, I used to think it would be just a little smaller than the ipad air (the only tablet I had used before) but it was surprisingly tiny. If you have small hands and use it sideways to write notes, maybe that's enough, but if you need split screen, I think it's too small

I no longer have the three models. Anyway, I don't remember them looking that different.

Get at least 11-inch or larger. If you have to read PDFs where text size cannot be adjusted, get larger for better reading.

If it's a huge price difference, Xiaomi is still better for value simply because it's a really good tablet at affordable price, relatively speaking

I watched to choose the size, but after watching the video, it was very difficult for me to choose. I'm not an artist, but I'm someone who likes to draw, and I'm choosing one to paint. My needs are quite simple, besides drawing (I use ibis paint/clip studio), I also watch movies, read books, edit with capcut, and my husband will play a fighting game on this device. What size should I choose? Thank you.
Clip Studio will benefit from a larger display since there are many UI elements. Other benefits of the big display are you can use split screen mode and SamsungDex more effectively.
If you don’t need all that, you can go with smaller display

I also thought about splitting the screen but I don't really use it much, and I've never used SS Dex so I don't know if I really need it or not. I want to start from the smallest version to experience, next year if SS has an upgrade for the S10 I will consider a bigger screen if necessary. I am really interested in the problem of the Spen battery, do not know how long the pen can last after a full charge? I see you have shared about where replacement pen tip are sold, which is really helpful.
@@wuyniesblog8122The S Pen battery is only needed for Bluetooth features. Drawing doesn't require battery power.

I heard that will speed up the wear of the tip of the pen and blur the screen, I heard about the metal tip instead of the normal tip of the pen, when using this tip with the paper like sticker will not wear the tip of the pen. Choose based on the software you want to use.
For drawing, both are equally good so you have to choose base on other features.
Since I have many movies from Apple iTunes, I will go with iPad. But I also have Samsung tablet

Hey, what would you reccomend if i can buy s9Fe+ for 2695zł(673$) or S8+ for 3400zł (850$)? I want it also for watching content and maybe photo editing. I want it for probably few years and theoretically s9fe+ has got longer support... but worse processor. Also i want it for taking notes in high school. What would you recommend with these price differences? And is s9 good option? Cause ot has got dynamic amoled and in my country it cost 825$ but on the other hand i wanted bigger screen for taking notes.... What should i choose i really need your help as someone that had been using all of these.
11-inch is not small and big enough for taking notes. Advantage of bigger screen is for split screen mode, reading PDFs (where text size cannot be adjusted), and using as external display.

You can, but there will be lag because it's a wireless connection.

Has anyone had issues with headaches or eye strain with the Tab S9 11" and its PWM?
I've owned the 11" S9 for two weeks now. I had the same concerns about eye strain as you because I had a Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook which made me feel like I was going cross eyed! So far it has not been an issue with the S9. There is a very mild 'strain' but nothing to worry about. It might be that the 120hz smoother motion on the screen mitigates the implementation of PWM on the S9 compared to the 60hz on the Duet5. I should also point out that I do not use the S9 for long periods of time watching movies/Netlfix etc..
@@TomUK7 Cheers! Yeah, I had a tab S7 plus and actually downgraded to the S7 because of headaches etc. I guess I'll just stick to the S8 with the LCD just to be sure.
I use an S7 plus, and I had a headache in the first few months of use. I use the tablet daily for note-taking and studying, and I don't have headaches as before. You might want to also invest in a blue-cut lens. I wear glasses already, adding the blue cut to my lens made a huuuge difference.
I already have a 14 inch laptop so I don't see the need for the s9 Ultra. And i saw the s9 in person and it felt very small and reminded me of a kindle lol. So i think the s9 plus should be the perfect size. Not too big not too small

I bought an S9+ when all I wanted was an iPad Mini.
Similar here, but I went with S9. iPad mini is outdated and I do not want for next version as I have a feeling that the screen will not be as good as S9, probably they will leave 60hz.
Wish Samsung made something close to iPad mini size wise, as 11 inch is still too large for me, but I got used to it.

5G will have phone number, can send/receive SMS, can make calls, can install Watsapp.
The 5g version is basically a larger phone. You'll be able to call, text, and get Internet access (no wifi or phone needed). You can even use it as a hotspot to provide wifi for your laptop and other devices

Depends on your budget and how much you want to spend.
The bigger display is better than smaller for split screen use, reading PDFs, use as external wireless display. E.g. for me I use the tablet as external monitor often so bigger is better for me.

Even the S7+ is still a rather powerful tablet today. I won't worry about battery life since there's fast charging. If you have to bring your tablet out often, 11-inch is good. If you use SamsungDex, wireless external display or split screen often, 12.4-inch is good.

In my opinion, the S9 Ultra defeats the purpose of having an android tablet because of its size. An android tablet should never be larger than your laptop. Android tablets to me are meant to be something that you pull out for light work, like email, watching videos, listening to music, taking a photo, or even reading a book on the go. Something else I wish every TH-camr would stop doing is trying to compare android os tablets to windows tablets. They are not even the same thing. One is a dedicated desktop os and the other isn't. You cannot do with a tablet what you can do with a desktop os like windows or macos. If you could, I doubt many people would even bother buying actual laptops anymore and just buy android tablets instead.
There is a market for a huge Android tablet. The good thing is Samsung has three size options so you can choose whichever size suits you

Practically all the Samsung stylus from s6 up are better. Probably best stylus of all the tabs (including iPads).

Look at the software you use, then see if that software is available on the table or PC. That will give you the answer. If you don't need desktop software, tablets are quite convenient and way more portable.

They are all good and same capabilities. There are three sizes to choose from and having more options is good. People can choose base on their preference. The Ultra tablet can be a bit too big
That's just silly. They are basically the same except for their size. If anything, the s9+ is the most neutral of all (best of both worlds). So best thing is you go to a shop and see which size you prefer by testing a few different things.
