Chase just knows how Anderson rides and knows he can be aggressive a decent amount of the times. Chase has a very high riding IQ
Because he’s point leader and Jason will take him out if he tries to run it in on him. He probably wouldn’t if he was not point leader. But one single take out will cause him to lose the red plate at this time in the season!
You'll see the same thing from *Eli* around *Barcia* they haven't been around each other really in MX this year. *Barcia* made his way up to 3rd but didn't make his way up to *Eli.* But *Eli* is more timid around passing *Barcia* you'll see him going so fast & then he catches *Barcia* & he won't take his line away type pass & it has to be a wide open corner but usually he tries passing him on a straightaway where he can't retaliate (I'm talkin SX because as I said they haven't been around each other in MX this year much)

@@howardmontaque8147 True...maybe Mookie and we've seen how that goes. Barcia is gonna Barcia as long as the AMA lets him do it. But I still think Barcia is good for the sport both sx and mx.
@@Peanutdenver I am a Barcia fan. Sometimes he makes me cringe. I like to see aggressive balls out racing but sometimes its a bit much with him. Ricky and James set the standard for being extremely fast and over the edge but kept it respectable until the conditions and speed put them into each other.
I have noticed that as well. Big Eli fan here but he can rip through the pack from 20th but when he catches barcia that could be In 5th he has major hesitation.

There's a difference when you ride with "everything to gain" as opposed to riding like you have " nothing to lose".
I like them both.
Eli and Craig's situation shows racing the whole track wins the race, while racing the rider and individual lines on the track keeps you battling for positions. Chase is still a very young man on the competitive hierarchy and his success this year will no doubt shift his mindset on how formidable the competition actually is.

Anderson gets into Chase's head for sure. We saw it in SX too. Anderson can have this effect on people and still ride well - it doesn't bother him. Others... not so much. Chase is designed to race, not mess around with people.
he gets into his head cause he knows him and tomac are the only guys out there that can easily put 5 seconds on him in 3 laps lol every race jason has had a good first lap he has had no problems with getting by chase or running away from him.
Anderson makes Chase nervous as hell!! Anderson can be the spoiler!!

Anderson is a badass just trying to get his career in check- they're both amazing riders- Anderson doesn't care enough to take out Sexton on purpose unless he is in the championship race which he is now focusing on third - Jason will start focusing on super cross sooner than later and for good reason - a crash, mechanical failure and competition that took him out gone and the championship would of possibly been a different story

Chase and Jason don't like each other, I feel like they have had at least a few instances of them getting angry at each other.
last mx season you can tell how Ferrandis and AC dont like Sexton too, They usually race him harder.
@Brenton I'm from northern Illinois and I'd consider myself quiet. So I wouldn't say it's that. I just think he's always been kinda shy around the media, but he's opening up a bit more. I don't think Chase of the past says as much as he has.

Ferrandis, Tomac and AC are the real fast guys. This is about Ego and Personality. Just watch how Eli is going to destroy Sexton this last rounds.
@Brenton Not really, Ferrandis is my favorite rider, injuries are part of the sport. I'm talking about ego in the sense of whos who in the top. Everyone wants to be the fastest guy.

Anyone who follows this sport should know if Eli wanted to take the 5 out he would have, he was only trying to slow the 5 up so other rider could get a head of the 5, if Eli won and Dungey finished 5th or worse Eli wins the championship, and that's all there was to it
