To do this you have to show some form of understanding towards the person you're debating with and liberals spend so much in their echo chambers that they immediately turn hostile towards any sort of nuance or stepping out of line with the popular opinion which is usually necessary to win a debate

This is why Shorts and Tiktok is the main source of news for this generation.
I think it mostly corellated with "groupthink" and how in-line with the progressive dogma one is. Once someone shows some nuance, they start getting flagged. I imagine those who are more thoughtful and original in their own positions are generally going to be more respectful as well, since they care more about moderation towards truth.
Though, I did notice the flags aren't entirely bad since some people who were giving weak arguments or getting tied up over their own logic were getting flagged too.
I'm only half way through, but it is annoying how Parker keeps finishing these debates without getting voted off even though it does feel like he's not being a totally fair or faithful interlocutor (even if he presumes he's being logically consistent).

Parker was incredibly draining to listen to and you can tell he is the kind of person that will start an argument at a party the moment any political, religious, or social construct conversation comes up. It's okay to be passionate but he probably wins all of his arguments steam rolling anyone who tries to debate him.

They do lack tact. But they are scared, the hateful remarks are coming from a place of pain. I feel it myself. Knowing that the choice of what to do with my body is in the hands of people who have never even met me is not an easy pill to swallow. Conservatives say gender ideologies concerning trans and same sex attraction etc. is being pushed onto the younger generations. if they weren’t getting that pressure the numbers would be way further down than they currently are. It’s a social movement, with a set agenda not just something that we’ve forced people to suppress
