    I just learned more to improve my mechanics in 20 mins than i have in my whole life. It’s the same approach i took to the golf swing and i love it!

    You can certainly see how jett conserves energy by letting the front move around and accelerating to straighten up to save gripping so tight, letting the front dance in the air over the holes and bumps incredible technique which needs 100% focus of any outside mental thoughts, awesome video again JS7 keep up the good work🤙

    • @dropbear9526
      @dropbear9526 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're the only person I've come across that see's why Jett's riding style is so efficient. I've even asked people to point it out, and got nothing but crickets.
      You nailed it. Jett lets the bike do It's thing and the lion's share of the work. He's like a passenger, he doesn't try to completely control the bike, he guides the bike, more so than rides the bike.
      The bike isn't helping Jett win. Jett's helping the bike win.
      Hence why it "looks" like he's doing it so easy. He is doing it easi-er.

    You give the best reviews of the races. It is so nice to see you back in the sport, commentating and giving insights to how you were so fast and how the boys are fast now.
    Chase is riding so fast and if Jett wasn't out there he would be getting the glory. Amazingly though the rookies of both classes are red plate holders. Has that ever happened before? And although both fields are missing some riders there is still some amazing talent out there, especially the 250 class.

    Great show again, thanks James.
    Jett did a coaching thing with AJ Catanzaro a while ago and he explained his grip. The placement/grip Jett has is very different. Instead of his knuckles being parallel with the grips, his little finger knuckles are further forward than his pointing finger. Rotating the hand on the grip naturally makes your elbo's up/higher. Jett also said he has never had arm pump and that's because of the grip position. I now try to implement it and if you can make it work it really helps with strength/control and reducing arm pump.

    The dangerous part of it all is even if Deegan only holds it for a round or two, the fact he had it in his hands shows the goal is attainable. Sometimes it takes getting to the top then falling to solidify your hunger. Having it taken away will only add coals to that fire within him and make him want it again more.

    • @dropbear9526
      @dropbear9526 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      At this point. Deegan is the odds on favourite to win next season's title. Smoking Joe will be his biggest threat.
      An SX title next yr is just going to be a matter of choosing the right coast to race on.
      Kid's got the world at his feet.

    • @howardwest2707
      @howardwest2707 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @dropbear9526 I think there's more than Joe that can contend, especially if they come in injury free. I imagine he will run the east coast gig so depending on who runs there with him could spice it up if others choose to run there too.
      Nothing against him but he could have easily had a similar wreck or bike troubles and that gap puts him back in the hole deeper. He's done everything he needed to do to capitalize in this moment but he will need to be even more consistent than he currently is to fend off threats next season. He's still learning and he has room to grow so it's definitely in his favor.

    • @dropbear9526
      @dropbear9526 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@howardwest2707 More threats than Joe for sure, I just think Joe will be his greatest threat.
      The kid's a quick learner, and obviously a hard worker. He's come a long way in 12 months.
      Confidence is a big deal. At this point, that's building.
      But, can't disagree with anything you said.

    I got my entire jobsite saying " you better tuck, tuck it in, put tape over that tuck, or tuck the front". Like if your work work buddy is blowing it or lays down an ugly ass weld , we tell him or she "you better tuck that weld boy" . That is funny nice work JS7
