Gotta be honest I hate when a guy texts me constantly. So annoying. Consistency is nice and appropriate response times are important, but we should both have a life.
This. I don't mind a text every day, but don't expect me to be responding to texts every hour or even every couple of hours; I'm trying to work and live my own life. And I would hope he is, too. I've had guys cut me off because I wasn't responding to texts all day. Shoot, one guy said my friends were obviously more important than him since I couldn't talk because I was with them. I had literally told this man that I'm not on my phone constantly, anyway, but that when I'm spending time with people I want to be present, so I'm not on my phone. Plus, no, you are not more important than my friends when, at that point, we had only gone on two dates and known each other for, maybe, 3 weeks at that point. I've known my friends for WAY longer than that... and the fact that he went back to being a stranger after 3 weeks is exactly why my friends are more important than he was, lol.
As a sex and relationship therapist, I've tried time and again to communicate that a guy following them on social media is meaningless. I LOVE that you said they use them as entertainment. ❤
These are good for in the real life, in person dating girlies as well. Ask a question to a guy, and if he's not into it and going in more, then it's fine he's not interested, hold back! :)
This video came up for me at the RIGHT time, as a guy I was only texting with for a few days just abruptly stopped. He did hit me with the good mornings, how did you sleep, and asking so many questions to the point where I slowed down responding to him, cause I’m a busy girl. But after he suggested we meet, and I said sure next week let’s do it, he just disappeared. I was gonna give him a couple days before I straight up deleted his #. Let’s me know I’m on the right track! Thanks fairy God brother!

Has this person asked you to go steady? To be exclusive with them? There's a difference between that and dating. If he's "keeping you around" odds are he has somebody else at the forefront. Again, they go low? You go low. Get you somebody else to date yourself. Enjoy what the new boo has to offer. Don't care about date #1 reacts unless he's buying you jewelry in apology sis.

Advice: keep two or three guys in rotation. He who gives you the most effort is the winner. On a job, low energy men/ women don't get the corner office ( so is the same in dating )

I literally had to figure this out not 72 hours ago.😢 I kept sending 2030 messages to this guy and I wasn’t being mean, but I was expressing myself and addressing how he’s treating me and how he tries to manipulate me and he responds to one message. I know he read them all, but it just goes to show you can lay all your emotions out like a pair of shoes and a guy is only gonna pick one pair if you know what I’m saying

My advice is if the behaviour is confusing you then it's a red flag. If you're getting mixed signals then be cautious about this behaviour
