I believe this! I took an ex back only for him to break up with me and said he realized I wasn’t the one for him 🫠

I had a "friend" who called me every single day. would call me at work, after work on the way to the gym and right after he got out the gym . one time he called me mid workout and stayed on the phone until he went to sleep(ate dinner, showered then layed down) anyways pretty sure he was just lonely or something.

Matching energies is actually a depletion of your authenticity, energy, and time. I don't match energy, I will remove myself from the person or the situation.

This seems inverse to the question written at the top. I think I know how to tell lack of interest. I’m more interested in knowing when they are interested. That’s tough to tell!

Pretty men should always be avoided. Best case scenario, there's no personal development. This is why I'm not interested in them. Pretty women *do* have character development, because the world doesn't hand them things. It's easy to believe the same of men, but their lives are soft. Not manly.

I think the US is headed in that direction in general, leaving the racial element on the burner. Men sort of need war and struggle to reach their final form, and there are maybe one in a hundred men who have done that. The rest of them enjoy reddit, porn, dino nuggies, and complaining about modern women. They want barefoot women with long hair and sourdough. Women, on the other hand, want a man who's seen death. Even if that wasn't the case, the Amish are pacifists and extremely masculine. They're not dependent on people for things and can do it all themselves. Life used to weed out weak men. I think we should bring back that tradition.

I'm a dark skinned woman. I DO NOT treat or teach any of my children differently. From day 1 you know you are black. I will not sugar coat that fact at all. I tell you the real from jump. There is no privilege because you will know that we work 2 to 4x's harder than everyone else because of the American biases and perpetuated propaganda spewed forth for generations by not just whites but even in our own community.

Yeeeaah... I was with your page until this... like that's not cool... yall gotta stop putting light skinned people in a box.. when you expect a light skinned person to be a certain way, YOU create a self fulfilling prophecy because you've created that narrative in your head...I can't get with this one.. you're making it more than what it is when these men just are jerks that just so happen to be light skinned/ biracial..smh.. and you ain't that far from light skinned... shame on you

You just described my child’s father and it makes a lot of sense. And yeah, he is very aware of the privilege of his lighter skin color. He is Jamaican, so he comes from a racially classist culture. They are obsessed with skin color and the upper hierarchy of the country tend to be fair skinned. 😒

Those are great examples. Another I've seen is the groom putting no effort into the vows and acting like it's a joke. He's sitting that he's either too immature for the bravery and vulnerability of heartfelt vows, or that he thinks he's doing her a favor by agreeing to marry her/there against his will. He wants her to know she's not worth the effort. For many men, it's literally the ONLY thing they have to put effort into for the wedding.

My son’s dad is biracial, has green eyes, well built & overall really good looking & that’s one way he got me hooked when I was a lot younger. He is everything you mentioned except the enmeshment part. His mom walked out on him as a baby so that brought its own issues.

I can and can’t agree. I am in a family with lots of light-skinned men, and it so greatly depends on the person. I guess it helped for my brothers that my mom is dark-skinned (dad is extremely fair but still black and is old-school Civil Rights Southern so not passing in the slightest) so they were raised just as black people, fully aware of their privilege within the world, but conscientious and kind. Not all of the cousins are so kind, though. We’re Creole, and some of us were raised to be God’s gift, but some were raised to be actual good people. At least in my experience, light-skinned men isn’t a monolithic group, it really depends on the individual.

Y’all are mad that he said dark skin women ? Understand he is speaking on the perception of a man. And again we know sadly that most dark skin men does not prefer darker skin women in the black community. So yes, unfortunately most black men would place darker skin women in the layer over zone

I remember there was some old tiktok video of a ww talking about how ww will love their BR sons, but hate their daughters bcuz their sons give them access to the patriarchy (as if wm don't already do that?) and ww "have never had any power" so this is their way of receiving it.🙄 Anyways, I can kinda see how that shows through their offspring, like with Drake, Doja Cat, and Jeremy Meeks.
