Can i use my soundtouch 30 series 3 for bose soundbar 700?
I was in best buy yesterday and I couldn't even turn the Bose all the way up it was so loud. I don't know if this is a response to the sonos playbar and I don't know if best but allowed for the playbar to max out but the Bose made the playbar look sound like a play toy.
What is the best audio setting for movies music and gaming

I just bought it today 5/18/2019, my girlfriend can fart and burp louder than the bass in this sound bar... not worth $800

As for not running the Adapt IQ, that is just silly. It will adjust the frequency response according to your room and furnishings.

Nobody is talking bout TV mounting this product. I only found one bracket TV Mount but the are totally out of stock. I have a universal TV soundbar mount currently holding an old soundbar, but ai want options to mount this on the TV with a bracket. Not the wall, but the TV mount bracket. Do I need to buy the Bose wall brackets? I don’t see any mounting screw holes anywhere on this thing.
Would you say its better than the Sony ST5000? If you are familiar with it
toneskeez sir I have listen to both of them and both are amazing in their own right but different,the Sony is more punchi,have 7 channels and a very huge bass module so have a very powerful output,the Bose is more refine and elegant the sound more spatial and is better for music but does not support Dolby Atmos the Sony does,my pick? Bose.
Very silly question, can you pair the Bose Soundbar 700 with another active subwoofer? the soundbar has a 3.5 mm jack for a wired connection of a bass module so in theory, that would work? I absolutely love my active subwoofer and it still works perfectly fine, there's just no point for me to purchase a new one... Has anybody tried that out? I've seen contradicting answers on forums. Thank you in advance for the help!

can i use the optical output of the soundbar with an aux converter into an amplifier into passive speakers?
@David Mander didn't buy it. got an AV reciever from dennon and 2 nice canton ventos 896.2. even went with 4mm copper wire. gonna be a while before i get the sub and the center but it was definetly worth the extra money (i spend ~2,8k).
there was no other option after listening to the sound of those speakers in the shop. really amazing.
Today i was in a soundroom with 12 premium soundbars. I can say without any doubt, that this was by far the best soundbar in the room (including with the sub) so i bought one (without the sub though)
I bought the Bose 700 but added a second sub......TOTALLY MIND BLOWING !!!!!!
My bose 700 soundbar has a solid red line underneath the power button. I've tried everything even a direct hard reset with the wifi ethra cable. I'm about to send to BOSE do anyone has any solutions????

@@arnabsen2005 You can't use a non-Bose subwoofer, which sucks, but on the other hand the subwoofer for this is really good on this. Gets rid of all the distortion

Can you do a tutorial on the remote for the 700 not all the lights light up on mines and I don't know how to get to the modes under the music symbol how do you put the remote in movie mode if u can play do a tutorial please

@@grownsimba8120 decided on playbar, sub and rear Sonos ones. Man, it is superb. Expensive but worth every penny.
I cannot get the sound bar 700 to work with my Samsung TV (UN55H6350) . I have tried everything with no luck. Is there a compatibility chart available from BOSE?
Are you using the hdmi or the optical? I personally use the optical because then I have an extra hdmi in case I need it, try using the optical and see if that works. It could be that the hdmi cable you're using is damaged or it doesnt support this soundbar.
Rafael Bedolla I tried both methods. The HDMI cord was the one shipped with the Bose sound bar 700, so I assume it is the correct type... after about 2 hours of trying different things, I was able to get the optical cable to work. I disabled the CEC on the sound bar, then powered everything down for one minute. Turned the TV on and changed the sound to external speakers and chose DTS Tru Surround in the sound effect. Powered the sound bar on, and it finally worked.
@@y2kwdaniel I'm glad you made it work, weird how you had to go through all that trouble to make it work. Mine was really a plug and play and I also just got it yesterday so I havent really fully played with it... but so far it sounds great another thing I found out is that you can add a 2nd bass module so maybe I'll add another one in the future lol..
Rafael Bedolla yes it seemed like a lot of steps to get it working. It does sound great! I also have the base module and it really makes the experience with it.

The bass is very good I actually celebrated my birthday using this Soundbar, BUT I WANTED MORE BASS FOR THAT I NEEDED TO BUY THE SUBWOOFER SEPARATE AND WANTED DOLBY ATMOST. ALSO IF I WANTED SOUND COMING FROM THE BACK OF MY HEAD I NEEDED TO BUY THE OTHER TWO SMALL SPEAKERS THAT IS WHY I SAID NOP SO I RETURNED THE SOUNBAR BACK TO BOSE. THATS WHEN I CAME ACROSS WITH THE SONY ST5000 SOUNDBAR A DOLBY ATMOST WITH MASIVE SUBWOOFER THAT SOUNDS PERFECT ON MY LIVING ROOM. NOW! Would I buy the bose 700 again? YESS! BUT I WOULD PUT THE BOSE 700 IN MY ROOM FOR FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES.

@@xxxxxPr0xxxxx yes SONY ST5000 HAS BETTER AUDIO QUALITY. ITS VERY VERY LOUD AND THE BASE MAKES YOUR LIVE ROOM SHAKE. look it up and watch some videos about it. It has HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO AND 4K PASSTHROUGH
