I guess ill make this pinned comment as some sort of addendum to the actual video. Theres this really fantastic fan made website that compiles a lot of great information documenting everything about Kururin as a series, including the history and development, which really blew my mind! It was the first time I ever saw the beta logo for the first game and also there IS actually a developer interview with the directors of Kururin, Hiroshi Sato and Masato Toyoshima! As well as programmer Yasunari Watanabe! I had made a big ol extra notes of Kururin pastebin thing claiming there was no developer info I could find on this game, but thats not the case! Heres the link to the site, please check it out if you’re interested. kururinvillage.neocities.org/ (made by Cco0orn and RevilleAJ) And a link to the english translated interview I mentioned imgur.com/gallery/nintendo-online-magazines-interview-with-nintendo-eighting-regarding-kurukuru-kururins-development-english-translation-attempt-UanUAie One of the people who made this website also commented on my video (which is how I even found this if im not gonna lie), and they seem to be a huge Kururin fan, where theyve also posted fantastic art of Kururin on their tumblr page and whatnot! So I guess a little bit of a shoutout to them? (Cco0orn) (Website link: cco0orn.neocities.org ) They also made the minecraft skin I briefly showed in the video, which by the way is like my go to minecraft skin and they did a great job with it. So yeah, I guess im putting this pinned comment here as both a link to that cool website and also just an appreciation for their passion for Kururin in general.
Thanks for talking about this game and going so in depth with it, I think Kururin deserves more credit especially both sequels. I got way into these games and it solidified my appreciation for ...Obstacle course games? I don't know how to categorize what it is, but I like them a lot!
57:56 oh shit that's me been meaning to upload more of motoyama's work eventually, one of my favorite composers but no one would have guessed that im sure
what a trip man, whenever you first pitched the idea of making a 2 hour long kururin analysis i had no idea if you were joking or not considering the nature of these games, but now after watching the entire thing it changed the way i view this series, its so incredibly special and it sucks that we dont get these games anymore the video itself was incredible, this is by far your best work and i love the new direction you seem to be taking with this style, it kept my attention the whole way through and i am so excited to see what other stuff you make going forward proud of ya man, i love download play
You are honestly such an amazing artist man. I adore your graphic design and editing style in general and always have, but it's really reached a peak here yet again. You got across your emotions in such a raw manner which is not an easy task by any means. Nearly everything about this video is honestly just so perfectly-crafted, and I'm damn proud that it's come to be, especially considering the length. I really can't wait to see what you'll make next year and beyond, man! You're killing it as always.
Someone mentioned about Chikurin cult part on twitter and then I saw it, I'm literally screaming because I thought my Kururin obsession is already worst, love it, I'll watch the full video in one day
@@M4m4.Made by my boyfriend, RevilleAJ, he even made chikurin 3D model too! Also your video editing is awesome, and I was screaming when my minecraft skin in the video, btw youtube don't show my response so I had to rewrite it again, hopefully you saw it.
Thank you! Also woooowwwww i did not know you made that skin! I knew your name sounded familiar but I just didnt really know how. Great job on that skin dude it’s like my favorite minecraft skin ive ever used lol. and also my go to
Sorry to reply again but I actually checked out your Kururin fan website and… fantastic work honestly. You have great passion for this series, and ive never seen anyone this passionate for the games as a whole. Your fanart for Kururin is also wonderful and it deserves way more praise. I made a pinned comment talking about all that, maybe sort of just to try and get it out to more people, because its seriously amazing!
@@M4m4. Thank you for everything like your pinned comment, I can't believe it and didn't realise you would check my fan website, also write my comment again because youtube is glitching again. Also I checked your extra note, the "usa.gif" is actually based on japanese word "usagi", which means rabbit.
Hi, Im just in the beginning of the video, but I would like to say, I also have some fascinayed with obscure/underrated nintendo games. A few months ago I began playing Magical Vacation, its a really interesting rpg game that is also japan only, but got an english fantranslation.
I didnt meant to single you out... I don't usually heart every comment but I guess i've nearly done that for this video, huh. you did remind me of that game though, and I am interested in playing it! Graphically it looks really nice for GBA, color-wise especially. though it's apparently 40 hours long and i don't know if I have the time to spend on it right now.
Kururin is love, Kururin is life. I have a video of all cutscenes on my channel if you interested. Also, if you want a P4 to play Kururin, I’m here. Can’t wait for Paradise to come to NSO.
I can truly say you’re a Kururin fan, im glad. I hope paradise comes to NSO soon… i find it almost impossible to play with actual people due to emulator bugs, crashes, and no$gba’s controls not working
