That was great! I totally agree about when you start to pass more the pressure to communicate who you are with gender presentation is less as people treat you as who you are more ❤️❤️

A brilliant talk Taryn. Lots of food for thought around the coded language of fashion and expression of vulnerability.

Yessss~ Well said Taryn! 💖 I really hope this reaches some people who’ve been buried under misinformation and fear. With a little kindness towards others we could have such a happier world 💜
    P. S. Also a delight to see you looking as glam

"If you are a child who is trans, and you are 4 or 5..." A 4 or 5 year old doesn't know what they are yet. They are only 4 or 5!!! Wtf did I just watch????

Excellent talk thanks Taryn. Many echoes in here and the relaxing the need for pink I last saw in the French documentary Petite Fille where once little Sasha was comfortable with where everyone was with her journey she let up on the colour blue a little too. Adults should get a grip on themselves.

As a Brazilian, this problem escalated to something political and religious ideological. That said, society has always been divided and this example just shows another implicit way in which people choose whom they respect (usually their peers). Even though the LGBT+ community has gained rights in these 30 years, in practice nothing has changed in a narrow-minded society.

as a trans person who has a mildly eccentric fashion taste that doesn't fit into traditional masculinity, some people care enough to call me slurs
