Hello. Came across this video while researching to make a fluid change on my 2012 Expy. Nice work! Just one question, what is the i.d. of the hose used to make the reservoir plug? Thanks!

I believe we mentioned it in the video. It may have been a piece of fuel hose.

@@HomeOwnerRepair the video mentions 5/8 for the hose that will go to the canister where the flushed oil will go. But the one used to make the reservoir plug is not mentioned.

I also guessed it was a fuel hose but wanted to double check.

Do not do a flush with that fluid. If your system, like fords, require atf and you use regular power steering fluid you will ruin your pump and rack. It is worth it to use atf to flush the system. Also the power steering fluid used in the video has stop leak, another thing you never want to put into any system on your vehicle unless you are trying to limp a clunker along.

@@HomeOwnerRepair It will ruin the pump but it’s your vehicle you can do what you want. I’m talking from personal and professional experience as I did work at a ford dealer as a technician. You should always use the manufacturer stated fluid type for a system.
