Awhile ago, I was at a fair. It was late in the afternoon. Went into the petting zoo. The animals were exhausted so I didn't bother them. But the kids were running around and disturbing them.

Price must vary depending on where you go, the place I go you pay $10 for a basket which is normally around 30-40 apples.
At the orchards I've been through, the apples are amazing. They so different from the red/green styrofoam balls you can buy in bulk at the grocery store that I hardly think of them as apples.

I know, right? By the time Woody was advising anyone pulled off the hayride to "fight like hell" I was laughing so hard my stomach muscles were cramping.
So many super talented actors losing their shit & breaking character in the same sketch was an unexpected bonus.
I was chased by a teenage boy with a real working chain saw on a haunted trail, they are so not kidding. And before anyone asks. Yes. Florida.
I went to a haunted hayride the other weekend and this line kept going through my head the entire time. At one point on the hayride we smelled weed smoke something fierce. I think the teen boys stand out in the corn stalks and smoke joints in between hayrides.
“I’m 28.” Why did I laugh SO hard at that

The first time I went apple picking, someone stepped in a hole and broke their foot so we ended up in the ER. So that's pretty accurate.

Right? I live near one of these places in California, Oak Glen. They try real hard to be cutesy and old-fashioned, but it's ridiculously expensive to do anything there.
pug: I picked apples in Massachusets but would not have paid that much to do it. somebody else paid. It's a clever strategy though, charging people to do what you would normally have to pay them to do.

Too true!! It completely weirded this Southerner out to be in upper New York state and have multiple people running around with Confederate flags on their trucks bumpers,belt buckles, and houses! I had to stop and check to make sure I hadn't driven back to Alabama in some sort of coma! Found the same phenomenon in Vermont. I have to admit though, I always appreciate it when morons wear that flag in public and give the rest of us warning as to their presence. It's the equivalent of stripes on a skunk.

Pretty Much NYC and it's suburban areas i.e The Northern suburbs of Westchester and Rockland Counties and the eastern counties on Long Island are supposedly free from Confederate flags which is of course not true. However much of Upstate NY is almost similar to the Midwest i.e Indiana, etc. There are exceptions though such as Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany though. Thus why there a political divide in NYS Government between the Democratic Machine of NYC and more "moderate Republicans" in places such as I assume the Hudson River Valley. Hope this gives brief explanation of NYS Demographics.

This is one of the funniest sketches I've seen in a long time. Hit after hit, joke after joke, had me legitimately laughing out loud. I'm gonna venture a guess, and say the dislikes were from the families of those who fell off the hayride, and didn't "fight like hell", never to be seen again. Now, I don't usually quote lines from the script, but that "He's like Eeyore, but with a plan" joke, was too damn good not to acknowledge. I truly hope this becomes a recurring skit.
SNL regularly has Aidy & Kate advertising their "business". This was a particularly funny sketch, however.
