I think the ending is made even more hilarious by the fact that Cecily had to say "well said Denise!" to Aidy right after she barely got her line out through the laughter
she had a whole other paragraph after what might be one of the worst SNL bloopers ever and they even did the video clip twice to buy the whole cast time
More like promotion! She make this sketch work well. But it wouldn't have worked unless it was embarrassing at the time. You couldn't get the same brilliant result if you intended this result or tried to script it. It turned a mid-show sketch into something worthy of a cold open. Once every million times even with the most talented cast, crew and producers, something will go wrong. It just brilliant than on SNL when that happens it is the most fun and the most rewarding for the audience. We all (well most I guess) prefer the SNL that pushes the boundaries with logistically insane ideas and sometimes makes a mistake (and is able to laugh at itself) than a more "safe" version that is more risk-adverse and thus less fun.

You sir are right. Watched the taping in the studio and was probably one of the more impressive things I’ve seen. During each commercial/video clip the crew jumps back on stage and helps switch costumes around for the cast.
Trump is about to have his SECOND impeachment trial in the Senate.
-Ain't nothing gonna happen.
You called it

😅
I have watched this clip countless times and even knowing what to expect, it still sends me rolling on the floor. Such a cheerful ending!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg, the mess up had me rolling. Love the SNL-feels like the old days
“ a whistleblower, o he gon go missing” 😂😂😂😂 sad but its true
Yea, that Hillary body count is ever increasing. Now they're killing just because they can(Epstein and the clock is ticking for Weinstein). Besides this impeachment is gonna make them look really bad cause he gonna win.

"Ain't nothing going to happen" -Every Black person in America
Facts
Yup, I'll believe it when I see it.
@Jangler333 Now. We're talking about the Clownshow currently melting down in front of our eyes. Why do you ask?
This was my entire last 2 weeks!
Blacks are realists
Kenan was right, he won again.
Funny how they predicted, "ain't nothing gonna happen".
coz....., it dont take no rocket scientist to know: "aint nutin gown hapen!"
Nine days left now, ain't nothing happened yet.
see, nuthin happened.
“ if it’s one thing that Americans love, it’s reading!” 😂😂😂😂
Truer words have never been spoken. I don't read much aside from the TH-cam comment sections 😬🤭
So sad.
This is why live shows are great! The character break, and the barely made recovery. Hilarious 🤪
I love the current cast, so happy that Keenan is still here and funnier than ever! Aidy had my sides hurting, she's so cute even when she breaks character and cracks up. Welcome back SNL! You've been missed.
3:54 "In life, sometimes people surprise us."
4:40 Right on cue
She might have held it together but usually solid Cecily was dying beside her.
That stagehand elevated this from a funny skit to a classic one
I missed the stagehand when it was live, and wondered what they were laughing about.
I had to replay the video to see if that bit intentional or not.
Me too!
Same 😂
I've watched that bit with the stage hand several times and I still don't get what is happening. Please someone tell me.
Greg Turner she’s helping with the quick costumes changes and missed her cue, ran onto live tv an tried to change her 💀🤷🏼♀️
i've never seen anyone break this hard lmaoooo
Clearly you've never watched bill hader. He's broken so badly he can't even get his line out without having to stop and laugh to the side and take a breath, hence the stefon mouth cover. Aidy did her bit, powering through the laughter
faggedaboutit bro it was just a joke lmao
Best part: When Aidy is like "No!" to herself trying to force herself to stop laughing.
She was classic ...
@Rob Rosenberg Seriously, I'm always amazed that Lindsay Lohan was the most professional in that sketch, hah.
Much respect to SNL for uploading this skit unedited. Usually they like to fix any and every little mishap before they reshow it, but this was too good to cut. However, I do know that whoever was directing this scene had some explaining to do 😅
Current cast, especially the women, is probably the very best since the original, or at least a close second to the Tina, Seth, and Amy days. I'll miss Kate McKinnon, but in her absence we will really see Aidy and Cecily shine. I like Heidi and Ego as well.
Ok so NO ONE'S GONNA TALK ABOUT KENNANS INSTANT MUSTACHE APPEARANCE.
04:41 when the wardrobe person ran on was AWESOME!!! No wonder Aidy cracked!
she got fired and will be replaced by Shane Gillis
The poor production mistake is what made her break character, They were laughing because the stage hand made a mistake. Not because the material was good.
@@alexdaniels7646 Really?! WOW, we had no idea that's why they were laughing! Don't you just love when someone explains the obvious? lol. That's like someone lighting a candle and someone else says "you know that candle is burning because you lit it." Ok, I've completed my one bitchy comment for the week. Good day, all. 😋
"No..!"
jssangel416 bitch what?? sometimes people need that clarification, don’t be rude.
This went from being a completely ordinary sketch to one of the greatest hot messes in the history of SNL. Truly one of the reasons why I keep watching this show.
That part where the wardrobe person ran out was gold😂😂😂 I really hope that poor lady doesn't lose her job for that.
I hope they give her an imdb credit for this skit.
it wouldn’t have been her fault anyway, the camera was supposed to be a tight shut of Keenan but they forgot to change cameras
Lose her job? She should get a raise!
Aidy already gave her a huge shout-out on IG. I think she'll be fine.
It was totally the director’s fault.
It would have been great to have a little window of Cecily laughing 😂
Aidy literally said:
"Sometimes people surprise us" 45 seconds earlier 👍👍
It's amazing to see her break, lol, she's so good at times and it's fun to see it come apart a bit. She took it like a champ though. 👍😅
Poor Aidy was struggling so hard just to talk😂😂😂😂Rare for her and Cecily to lose it so bad.
the skit was amazing but the icing on the cake was everyone laughing at each other. also shout out to that dresser who hit her cue too early. girl we feel you, and we love you.
It looks like she was on time and the cameras messed up the cue.
I probably rewatched this break 20 times hahahaha! What an awesome surprise.
I tried pausing it right when the stagehand realizes she's on camera and then again when everyone else does, truly a beautiful and comedic moment. Woody keeps it together the best, followed by Kenan. Cecily and Aidy are dying the entire time and it's pure gold!
Aidy B is just so awesome. She’s my favorite cast member by far. She has such an infectious smile.
Kenan and the popcorn are going to become a meme
Thank you, for reminding me to take some screen shots!
We need more of this Quincy character. It's hilarious.
YOU HEAR THE STAGE MANAGER GO “nope!” When
Damn, good catch
Wow you've got some super special skills, had to watch it two more times after you told me the info to hear it for myself
When does that happen? Time stamp!
@@queens2nd2none 4:43 (i think?)
Wow! Good catch! Was that woman not supposed to come out on stage and mess with her clothes yet? Was these outtakes legit or were the apart of the script... This was a great segment, hilarious I'm getting new revelations days later
I've watched this way too many times. Aidy trying to calm herself and keep from breaking, which doesn't work, makes it even funnier.
It’s crazy seeing all of these “he’s gonna win again” comments now
I dreaded Trump getting re-elected, so I get it, but it feels good knowing he didn’t right now.
A whistleblower?
"Oh he gon go missing"- horrible part is he's not wrong.
That is a bit harsh. I doubt the whistleblower will go missing. They will probably just have Putin poison the WB and then have the Saudi Prince bring in the old bone saw.
No, that would only happen on Killary's watch.
It'll be another death by "scarf"
@@VintageRose75 Dirty Donnie Trump's known kill count started in 1989 with Stephen F. Hyde, Mark G. Etess, and Jonathan Benanav. Since then it's been a stream of deaths all of whom were people with information on Dirty Donnie. His connections to the Russian Mob are WELL KNOWN, as he used his casinos to launder money for them (which is part of the reason for their bankruptcy) and help them establish in the USA in Atlantic City. It's the imperfections and mishaps that made the sketch funnier.
Agreed. This is an old school type SNL skit where a screw up can turn this into a possible classic. Still can't beat the uniqueness of being taped on Live TV.
the sketch was already funny before the break of character
Well it sure made the skit memorable
This will go down in SNL history
I love when Quincy starts eating popcorn! So funny 🤣
Aidy is even more beautiful when she's flustered!
He echoes my thoughts. “Ain’t nothin’ gone happen.” 😂
True. Ain't nothing gon' happen and he's gonna win again.
@Wicker Billy I guess you missed the idea of "echoes my thoughts." Sometimes when we use logic, we form similar opinions.
Wicker Billy so I’m guessing you believe something will happen to Trump? Not really clear where you stand.
Yup
Wicker Billy why doesn’t it effect your life?
The Character breaks in SNL make it feel as if your watching it LIVE when it’s not even thereafter. 😂
SNL is live at 11:30 pm in the eastern time zone, which means it's also live at 10:30 pm in the central time zone. But I don't know what happens farther west. Do they have a delayed broadcast of the "live" show for the mountain and pacific times zones--and what about Alaska and Hawaii? It can't be "live" across the whole US unless they do the same show several times a night.
Thanks, Bevillain
With a five seconds delay.
Thanks, Andrew JD. I always wondered about that.
@@PerthTowne Until a few years ago, it used to re-run (taped) on the west coast. Sometimes the west coast version would be different (using dress versions of a sketch). Now it's live.
I also love Cecily breaking when she says "well said Denise!"
"Mmm hmm, ain't nuthin' gonna happen." Hilarious and true.
Hader’s spirit lives on through Aidy 🙌
Oh no, all breaks flow through Jimmy Fallon... Somehow even the ones before him.
May they all rest in peace. u_u
"Ain't nothing gonna happen."
I'm with Quincy, ain't nothing gonna happen.
*I agree, SNL feeds my inner pessimist...*
We are in - 'the darkest possible timeline', after all.

Agreed, Mountain Climber.
I’m with Quincy too. I’m a glass half empty kind of guy and my expectations are non existent.
“A whistleblower? Oh he gon’ go missing.” 😂
Yep. Everyone is assuming he or she is a traitor now.
Tom V how is reporting illegal activity “treason?”
@@Chunkboi well we live in bizarro world now.
Tom V - Most people realize they did something heroic and noble but politicians in high places are corrupt and not above murder to cover up their crimes.
We need to put them in Witness Protection as we do for people who testify against the mob.
I can finally truly enjoy this delightful clip because “he going to win again” didn’t come true. 😅. Until that really happened, I’d end up in a very confused state of laughing while having PTSD
He'll be a threat to the presidency and our democracy until he's in the ground.
This hits even harder now.
In this sketch:
Kennan= me
The panel = my dad
Same
same also...
My dad keeps saying the same shit. He taks about how with Nixon, all the Republicans supported him 100% right up until the moment where they threw him under the bus, and that will happen now, and I'm just like "...if you say so"
One of my buddies was getting all excited about Trump being impeached and I told him the same thing ... nothing is going to happen. The funny thing is I told him to go back and watch the Chris Rock and David Chappelle SNL skit that was done after Trump got elected and sure enough SNL comes out with this new skit that makes my point.
@@SRosenberg203 sad..but true...and the Democrats would support a Dem president no matter what..it's all about the party label....
