Getting rid of sticky was a dumb decision by the writer,they should've just recasted him or have him in a silent role

They could have recast him, but I suspect that Sticky wasn't considered important enough to the show to risk the potential backlash for recasting him. It's not like _Rick & Morty_ where they had to recast the title character(s), and Sticky did have a built-in excuse to move as far away as possible *cough*Dijoney*cough*

They could have give him an new voice actor giving the justification that now that he was growing up he changed his voice
The saddest part is Maya’s brother is basically a carbon copy of sticky, he’s tech savvy and gets harassed by Dijonay
At the very least KG unlike Maya doesn’t make me want to punch a hole in the wall every time he talks.

The show suffers greatly because of Sticky’s absence. While Sticky had his moments of selfishness, for the most part he was a very consistent voice of reason in the friend group and a grounded member of the team that wasn’t as over the top as everyone else. He was also very funny and very cool. And unlike Maya, doesn’t make me want to punch a hole in the wall. Orlando Brown’s performance too had so much comedic timing and energy, like he was always very skilled at doing.
This was a great character and him not being present in the show has made the friend group even more intolerable. No way Sticky would have tolerated that disrespect to Zoey. Him not being here has made the show less grounded and the friend group even worse.
And don't even get me started on the stupid way they wrote him out. No matter how much Sticky was sick of DiJonay, I don't recall him ever being that brutally cruel without feeling bad about it. As evidenced by the episode where he dissed her in front of everyone where he did feel bad. And it's out of character for him to just abandon his friends without even saying goodbye.
This show is hurting because of Sticky's absence.

I don’t consider this trashboot as canon at all.
Sticky may have been secondary to Penny and her friends but he was more of a real one than Penny's 'best' friend Dijonay.
I believe what people mean by calling Sticky "not even attractive" is that he is short and portly boy, that is also most likely why they had Dijonay harassing so much, as short and chubby herself the writers must have thought they fit together, just like they put Myron with Zoey as both are thin, socially awkward and nerdy. They keep pairing the kids on base of character design mostly.
I also don't think Sticky is coming back and it's an absolute shame. They might have written him out also for the harassment joke but it was such a wasted opportunity to have either a Sticky or Dijonay episode were they actually give Dijoney some character progression by addressing it instead of writing off a good character!
I think actually giving Dijonay a boyfriend who ISNT struggling to get away from her sadly ruins any actual attempt at character progression for her… sorry…
Orlando also did an amazing job playing Fillmore in that other Disney series. He really embodies the character when he does his roles, I wish for him to be better. I was so sad about his departure in the industry. Sticky was a good friend to Penny him being the reboot would’ve been complete.
Fillmore was one of my favorite just cause it had all the cop show tropes played completely straight, but with kids where instead of car chases, they’re riding bicycles and stuff.
If only Orlando Brown wasn't a complete psycho.
I don't think they're gonna bring Sticky up anymore, which is a shame. Cuz, I actually liked Sticky. He was cool, and a better friend at least better than Bigfoot and Dijon Mustard over there.
Sticky was one of the best, and brightest characters that the series could’ve hope for.
So naturally the writers didn’t like him. Orlando Brown can’t be blamed for all of it.
he wasnt excluded because the writers didnt like him. he was excluded because he is constantly high and in and out of rehab. nobody would want to work with him, and he would make it into a dangerous work environment, coming in high and belligerent.
i still don't see why not include sticky, this was the perfect situation to just give him a voice change saying it was puberty, like there is very few opportunities like that and is a waste not taking such easy fix @@foxbuns
@@foxbuns Part of writing is making things make sense, and is a mix of effort and desire- and the writers were just lacking both. They could have justified it with something that isn't being constantly high and in and out of rehab, but they didn't.
Honestly considering how many characters got rebooted designs with new VAs (Just for one example, I do like lgbtq characters are being voiced by queer actors) so I don't get why they didn't just hire a new VA for Sticky.
Man. I miss him already, man. Mainly 'cause he was the only friend that was decent. Holly Peele, Cee-Lo and Lizzo - all of 'em controversial and *yet* this prevents Sticky from poppin' in even once to be Penny's friend.
On the bright side, Sticky won't be the target of dijonay's affection.

I think the changes to Michael could work if they went in depth on him. I feel the same about Dijonay, I want it to make sense as to why Penny is friends with her more...and more depth would help that..
As for Sticky, I have a feeling we just won't ever hear from him again...I'm not sure what the right move is...I feel like he would at least text Penny?
it would be cool to see penny and the rest of the group possibly having a video call with sticky in tokyo and he can tell them all about what he’s been doing, it’s never going to happen but it’s a really cool idea
I dont think Sticky will ever be mention again. I doubt they will give Orlando a second chance. At first I questioned why they didn't replace Sticky's voice actor like they did with Michael. However my friend brought up good point. Sticky was literally part of the main cast while Michael back then was just a side character. Sticky look was iconic and I do believer Orlando do a great jump voicing him. Orlando gave him a lot of swag and confidence. Plus Michael got makeover till the point you dont really compared Michael from the original series and reboot. He is more confident in his own skin, cocky, and has brand new style and maturity. If they use Michael original voice for Michael new style, it wouldn't work out. With

I feel called out there at the beginning. XD some of those few comments were me. Like you said sticky had something. I think what you said is why I remember Sticky so fondly- he CAN mesh with anyone: in universe and in the audience.
Add to that the fact that he was easily the most likable and genuinely nice person. I never actually saw Sticky as conventionally unattractive- I thought he was fairly relatable and level headed.
Honestly the reason Sticky didn’t really “get” a girlfriend to ME was that he was less interested in love: it wasn’t that he WASNT crushing, like you said there was indeed signs that he liked Penny, but he was more chill about it. He was COMFORTABLE how he was and going steady with anyone would ruin what he was comfortable with. Even with someone like Dijonay he’s alright with her as long as she isn’t chasing after him.
I miss Orlando Brown as Eddie as well along with him as Sticky.
With the reboot I felt like how they take a role on the view of current tweens and teen’s relationship hasn’t felt right with me. I felt the show has so many opportunities to show the struggle of awkward stages of building a connection and making mistakes and learning to build friendships, relationships.
I felt it odd the Sticky was removed without a proper goodbye (if Disney didn’t want his character) and the relationship of sticky and Dijonae. I’m also quite sad to need see a Michael backstory or even a relationship for him. (The effort of Disney being progressive but not wanting to do the work of current day struggles I see most lgbt teens face)
I feel Orlando is too iconic as Sticky that if they had cast another voice actor, it wouldn't be same or have the same impact as Orlando had on the character.
I doubt Disney is going to give Orlando any chances soon. There's been too many bridges burned between both of them. I feel sorry for what Orlando went through in his life or what he seen in "the industry". I hope he finds the most happiness man.
Mind you, I haven't watched the reboot at all, so I might try to find some time to see it. With some of your videos, you starting to become interested in watching it again to see the difference between the original and reboot in tone.

Sticky was the closest person penny had to consider a "friend" and even he sometimes wasn't that great of a friend to penny either. [There were times sticky dumped supporting penny to hang out or side with her toxic friends. Examples: The karate lesson episode, the episode where he chose to attend lacienga's party over penny's, the michael being called a sissy episode, the dreaded episode where bebe and cece became teenagers for a day, etc.] Honestly, the creators of the show should have just allowed penny to have decent friends that are outside of her toxic friend group. [They had numerous opprtunities for that - olei, agatha, the girl in the kwanzaa episode, the pakistani girl in the episode about trading homes, carlos, the chang triplets, kwok, michael, maya & kg, etc. - but no, the creators keep wanting to torture penny for entertainment.] Also, yes, orlando brown was the reason why the character was not broight back for the reboot/sequel, but i suspect that they didn't recast him was because they feared fan backlash. [Unlike with Michael, Sticky is too connected to Orlando Brown, especially since orlando was a disney channel star while phil lamar wasnt strictly linked to Disney. It probably would not have been easy to replicate orlando's charisma, but it couldn't have been that hard to find a black guy that can spind and act like sticky.] But since social media now exists in the proud family universe, it seems odd that sticky didn't try to connect with penny thru social media (or at least thru paper mail and email), especially since oscar doesn't overreact whenever sticky and penny hang out together. [Why didn't Sticky just tell penny he was leaving or sent her a letter about why he left instead of leaving a paper note on the door of his former house?]
Another great video man! I am not surprised that they cut the character out because of the original voice actor. The same can also be said of that's so Raven reboot. Orlando never reprised his character of Eddie on that show either. I think that Raven probably didn't feel comfortable with him coming back due to his history and things he had said about her in a negative light. I like him as an actor but unfortunately his past actions just killed his future opportunities. 😢
I think cutting Sticky from the show because of his voice actor is a mistake. Michael is not voiced by the same person who voiced him in the original show for example. So just cutting Sticky out for that reason is ridiculous.

I think they were trying to replace him with KG. KG is the laid back tech guy who is also a 'do whatever I want, I don't care what people think' attitude. Dijonay even flirted with him for a while with a little he was on screen until she got a boyfriend. I think they were seeing what people thought of him and to see if he could replace Sticky. Sticky was a character who would be around a bit then blend in with the background or disappear for the rest of the episode. KG does the same thing, but he has been used less and less, most likely because they could not fully copy Sticky into KG. Also Maya ended up taking more and more time, even though with them being twins having KG around more takes sense. I feel like KG was suppose to be the cool tech part of Sticky and Maya was suppose to be the voice of reason part of Sticky (but Maya did not end up being that).
Side Note: when I was a kid I thought Sticky was totally cute. I am surprised people think he was suppose to be unattractive.
I think the other thing is shifting the focuses. Now Micheal and Myron get more attention, Penny and Dijonay have boyfriends, KG like you said, feels like artificial “I can’t believe it’s not Sticky” filling, and Mayas kind of being used as a mouthpiece to lecture the audience. Also I’m glad I’m not the only one first hearing this “sticky was supposed to be unattractive” stuff- if he was supposed to be unattractive then… well, to put it blunt- why WASNT he unattractive? I mean the show went out of its way to show people AS unattractive for laughs, like Sugar Mama, Dijonay, the frikkin Gross sisters, etc. I would THINK if Sticky was supposed to be unattractive they would have made it more obvious.
Oh, I remember Sticky. He was the subject of Dijonay's great (and unhealthy) attachment throughout the original series. He also was a bully in some episodes, but it was revealed in "The Altos" episode that his parents got into a divorce, and he clearly didn't take it well, but Oscar (of all people) comforted and showed him that bullying isn't the answer. Regardless of this, though...he's truly one of the main crew.
Orlando Brown is smarter than people seem to realize. He knows the truth about the industry and he doesn't want to be bought or owned anymore...
ALSO, can't NOBODY voice Sticky BUT Orlando Brown.

i didnt grow up with the proud family but these like character deep dives are really interesting to watch, even if im not familiar with the characters. Ive been watching for a while now, so youve succeeded in getting someone who has 0 experiences with the show interested, good job!

honestly, Orlando seems so far gone, I just dont think he would have turned things around on the show. disney made a good call by writing him out of the show, cutting their losses before he could become a liability. i cant imagine how much he would be harassing his coworkers or coming in high and unable to work. the other voice actors dont deserve to deal with that mess.

I miss Sticky like you said his absence is definitely FELT! I wish they would have at least recasted his character but Orlando was and still is such a phenomenal performer anyone else wouldn’t have been able to fill those shoes unlike EJ playing Micheal bc even tho his character had his memorable moments Micheal wasn’t relevant enough to the main cast to care about and with them supposedly “aging” EJ is a good addition bc his voice is a little lower and more smooth like someone who woulda went through puberty. I always liked sticky he reminded me of myself growing up I wasn’t a nerd but I did have glasses like him and even tho people liked me it was never me being the one people usually choose lol. I’m praying for Orlando’s healing journey and hopefully one day he will be able to return. Disney has had way worse people on their payroll.

Disney has consistently recasted characters like Robin Williams Genie with Dan Castellaneta for Aladdin 2. they could have gave Sticky a new VA since he was a good friend to Penny compared to the others
The thing is they could’ve made Kj a kind of substitute, but I do understand it would’ve been hard to ever replicate Sticky’s swag.

His absence is truly felt and I don't think his character works without Orlando Brown, he added a certain type of swagger that I don't think another voice actor could replicate, but I'm willing to be surprised and proven wrong

Total nostalgia, so sad that the VA had such a tragic real life story.... so many disney stars ended up in a bad way, and that's on the corporations and exploitative producers who made child actors lives hypersexualiized and exposed to that lifestyle.... They definitely could’ve recasted Sticky’s character. I think one of the reasons is they wanted a way to introduce the new character, Maya and the audience to focus on her. Also, KG is basically Sticky 2.0 so there’s no point in him coming back.
I was shocked too when I heard about his absence. But at least there's a new tech wiz in the gang Maya's brother KG. Oh and his dad wasn't shown clearly in the show it was just his shadow in the episode Tween town where Penny wished all the adults would disappear after getting punished. Again she wouldn't be in that situation if she was honest about where she was going. I also heard about Orlando Brown getting in trouble with the law when I looked him up on the internet the other day, it was also why he got cut off of that one show Zeus Network after his arrest. Its a shame mang. He was such a good guy back in the early days of disney channel and now is getting himself in hot water.
Orlando Brown has mentioned he was offered to rejoin the voice casting for the show, but he turned it down because he’s moved on from that role. Thus why they had Sticky move out of town.
Well good call on that, because he got in trouble with the law again.
One, I agree that the show never did any in-depth focus episodes on the other side characters without putting the Prouds in the mix. It really just made the secondary characters somewhat one dimensional.
Second, I wish Sticky in the original had just straight up said to Dijonay that he didn't like her on that level and that her constant pursuing was just a hurting both of them.
Three, and I know other people have said this too, why the heck didn't they just replace the voice actor? Heck they did it with Michael and made him different. They could've done the same thing for Sticky. Heck, they've basically turned KG into a replacement goldfish for him.
And yes, Sticky's character is sorely missed by the fans. He was the most consistent friend that wasn't two-faced.
I love sticky, mostly because he was always the voice of reason most of the time when one the characters mess up he call them out on it State facts and his reasons for think that way and then go he was always honest and knew everything about everybody sticky was The balance in the team I will miss him but maybe we’ll see him again but not likely now
Not gonna lie, im 50/50 with everything. While I do miss Sticky, I get where a new voice for him would set alot of folks off. That and the whole Dejaney thing, even when I watched the original, was uncomfortable. With Orlando Bloom? While it wouldve been great for him to come back and, possibly, get his ish together, I get why the producers/Disney didn't want to be associated with him with everything he did.

That video you made about why are Penny’s friends so toxic is right here: yeah, they were, and it became way too obvious with Sticky’s absence. He was really crucial in keeping the friend group afloat
In my opinion what Disney did was as respectful as they could be. They didn’t want to be involved with what Orlando Brown was doing and didn’t want to hurt the fan base, so they took the only other option and exited him out. Thus showing a sign of respect. And in my mind the only way I can see that if Disney does decide to bring him back than Orlando Brown will have to stop being a media personality and will have to mend his relationship with them first cause to me, that voice was molded for that character.
The trick isn't finding someone that sounds like Orlando , its capturing the vibe he gave to the character. Which is harder than you think. So they could be doing that and buying time by temporarily removing the character.

Getting rid of Sticky was itself a poor decision, sure he wasn’t as in-your-face as some of the other characters but he was likeable, even though now I’m older and see that whole Dijonnay should’ve left him be he himself used her. Remember when he publicly rejected her (I think a jet-ski was involved) I just remember it was the episode Duke was introduced, when she started dating Duke with the intention of making him jealous, one of the girls (I think it was Zoey) said “I thought you hated her!” and he replied with “there’s a fine line between love and hate!” so got Penny to try and help him “get my Dijonnay back!” and after Duke saved him from nearly drowning they bonded as bros so Duke ‘couldn’t date a friend’s girl’ so broke up with Dijonnay and once Duke was no longer an issue Sticky went back to wanting nothing to do with her, the scene was played for laughs with Dijonnay joking “I’m back to Me, Myself and I”, now looking back he wasn’t totally innocent.
I still miss Sticky, it doesn’t help the two characters they got to replace him are piss-poor ‘replacements’. One of them is basically Super-Nasty LaCienega, seriously I look at and (try to) listen to her and all I can think is “Female Riley Freeman (without the Swears)” and the boy (honestly forgot his name) … does he even have any lines outside of that first episode? But back to Girl Riley … what _exactly_ are we supposed to like about her? She’s nasty, vindictive, two-faced and can be downright malicious despite claiming to be “woke”, remember this is the chick who dissed Penny and her friends then teamed up with LaCienega to steal Penny’s BF then stole her spot in the band … cos of course she can also sing on top of everything else.
Plus … SHE’S STUPID ASF! Her whole “slaves built this country” speech is WRONG! Everyone PLEASE go and watch The Treehouse News’s video about that episode, she debunks and corrects everything Miss Boondocks got wrong! Just everything about this ‘reboot’ pisses on the ashes of the original, why would I watch it when there’s several Seasons of comedy gold ready to watch?
When the reboot premieres I had thought they would've given Stickie a new voice actor, and was hurt to see he was written out instead. I also thought they wouldn't mention him at all sadly so it was good he WAS remembered and seemingly put in a good place momentarily, anyway..

I feel they didn’t even do thorough vetting with cast considering they have Ceelo Green in the reboot. He’s a r*pist and the guy talking about how “people who are really r*ped would remember it.”
They cast Holly Peete for an autism episode which is such a wildly inappropriate choice it’s not even funny.
They could just recast Sticky and addressed the way they used him as a vehicle for colorism at Dijonay’s expense in how disgusted he constantly was toward her.
For more context, why was Holly Robinson Peete a bad choice for that role?

I do honesty see Sticky coming back either with a new voice actor or them giving Orlando Brown another chance and maybe being more strict with him.
ngl, having two dudes, sticky and Micheal, be in the friend group would've opened up a lot of story options/ideas. (it would definitely help go against the weird and problematic idea the Proud Family reboot is kind of implying that if there's a dude in a mostly girl friend group the guy has to be gay/feminine.) like Sticky and Micheal hanging out by themselves and realising they have way more in common despite their complete differences when it comes to masculinity and femininity or sm. also, his design could've gone crazy fire. like web + spider motifs? maybe big-ass headphones and a design like this emoji ->👾? It would've gone so hard. They robbed us of a modern and more detailed design of my boy Sticky Webb with the evolution of animation after 20-odd years.
Huh thinking about how Justrin roiland was recasted for rick/morty Sticky VA could have easily been replaced but i still think the show just isn't as fun as the original the old one felt more fun and lively in my opinion anyway. man i feel weird watching old eps tho knowing how orlando lost his mind, man i cant help but wonder if he was abused in hollywoo im 90 percent sure something happened to the guy

To me, Sticky was what I like to call the "Chic Geek".
What exactly did Orlando Brown even do? If it was something unforgivable, like rape or murder, then he doesn't deserve to come back, but if he just shoplifted or was drunk, or did drugs, then he might still have a chance if he's sober now.
It was a combination of drugs, domestic abuse allegations, public disturbances and other things. I do think he deserves a second chance tho

Yeah sadly when I watched the old show when I was a kid, I've been noticing that Sticky was never in the group anymore and was wondering whatever happened to him. The only times I ever got the chance to see him again was from the old Proud Family Movie and now seeing him in that one only clip in the reboot.
I was looking forward to seeing him since he was so tech savy. It would have being interesting to see him with access to modern technology.
I think it makes sense that Disney removed Sticky from the reboot. I feel like they could recast his character BUT I think the way the writers were thinking... people can't take apart the character from the voice actor if that makes sense. Lets say Tom Kenny couldn't voice Spongebob anymore, would they continue with the show or cancel it all together? I personally think Sticky doesn't really have an "iconic" voice but, I don't know.
Orlando did terrible things andDisney thought it was right to get rid of him altogether because it would make them look bad. After this video, I realized Sticky was a good character and a better friend to Penny. Although I would love to see Sticky in the future, I don't think they're going to bring him back. If they didn't bring him back by now, they won't do it at all.

My brother, I say that the only ones you shouldn't replace are the protagonists in a cartoon. Secondary characters, I say that if you want to keep the old voices, keep them but if you have to replace them don't be afraid of it.
To be honest, think the way they explain the absence of the character was a bit understanding given Sticky’s previous character history in the show. I do not think a replacement voice would have worked given how the tone of Sticky’s voice was on the show and how importance he was as a supporting character. Out of most of the friends Penny had, Sticky was at least a bit decent of a friend.

It would of be nice if they did give him a second chance and just tell him if he mess up then he off before they just killed his character some ppl will straighten up for a check and like you said he only had like one scene or 2 he couldn’t mess that up in my opinion
I think rather than writing the character off, recasting him could have worked. Like they could have got Dante Basco, he sounds quite similar to how Orlando voiced Sticky. When i was younger i legit thought they did have the same voice.

show def lacks something w/o him. Too ''girl drama,'' i feel. Making the 1 other guy gay didn''t help lol. Sticky kinda balanced out the hormones so to speak. The reboot just seems like ''What boy is the girls [and micheal] gonna argue over this week,'' ''who gets a crush next,'' or political plots. The new siblings add nothing and the boy 1 is mostly unused. We need gender balance. Disney forgot PF is a family cartoon not a ''girls only,'' show. Also sticky was the 1 nice friend sans zoey. Penny's bf has no character. We need characters w/ more personality and attitude, not a gag of laseinaga trying to take penny's bf every other ep.

I think they should’ve recast him, but something tells me that because they were planning on putting Maya and her family in there they would’ve cut him anyway.
It's unreal that they got rid of Sticky, he was literally one of my favorite characters on the show (Easily top 5).
It really seems like whoever's behind the Reboot of the Proud Family doesn't want the show to succeed, from poorly handled episodes to characters becoming legit worse than how they were introduced, I don't know what the Proud Family but they never deserved to become THIS.

I just made a comment and I thought I would add it here separately for everyone else to see: the proud family was fairly blatant on who was attractive or unattractive. He had stuff like Papis cracks at Sugar Mama (combined with closeups of her damn feet), Dijonays… well, EVERYTHING, LaCienega’s giant feet, Zoe and Myron’s over the top dorkiness- I would THINK if Sticky was intended at all to be unattractive, the show would have hammered that in a lot more.

I'm glad they thought twice, given what Orlando Brown was up to and events leading up before they began recording for the show.
Disney still worked with Dan Schneider and others way back. They learned some but I'm not convinced its changed enough in that area of show/movie productions from Disney and other studios in general.
Honestly, he was the realist friend Penny ever had! And yet he was banished in the reboot because of that. I'll let you all decide on the level of sad that is.
I'd like to see him recast because I don;t seem recasting his original VA, completely with you on the fact he didn't get many of his own special episodes and WEIRD they never showed his parents even with the whole divorce plotline........ loved the arthur shoutout, I watched that as a child and my 7 year old is currently obsessed with it hahah, but sticky should come back, with a new VA and a japanese gf, fr!! He needs his own adult character growth, I always shipped him and dijonay as a child..... that's just me though

And I think I get the reason why they did not give sticky a love interest I think sticky has a problem communicating with girls he is not good being in a relationship with girls or probably he doesn't want to have a girlfriend probably he does not know how to express his feelings sticky because he's so alone and he doesn't know where he should belong because he doesn't know how to fit in so this is the same situation as La Cienega she is a girl that comes from wealth she reminds me of Kim Kardashian because they have some similarities but the thing is that sticky we don't know nothing he's background his parents and it's not mentioned if you have siblings or not could you have any brother and sisters who knows
They need to bring him back And he and Michael could be Penny’s reliable friend and he Could get into a fight with Mya Brother because Dijonay still Like him and she likes Mya brother so they could have a fight about dijionay
Though the current show is fine without Sticky, his presence would have been nice. I know KG was meant to fulfill that tech savvy, whizkid role he had before and Darius serves as the new permanent love interest to Dijonay without the boy crazy antics involved (as it seems they might have been trying to give that same Sticky x Dijonay dynamic with her and KG before but seemed to cut it out fast and prompted to just give her boyfriend). However, KG cannot be seen as a complete replacement which I wouldn't want him to be I like that he isn't a complete reskin of Sticky. Personally, I think they could brought him back with a different voice actor though they would have be particular in getting the right person that give that vibe even if it's not Orlando Brown himself as though it would be have be kind to offer him the role back but I think Disney and the creators of Proud Family probably don't want to associate with him anymore. Which is understandable as that's kind of how showbiz is and Disney seems to be very quick to blacklist actors if they're too controversial no matter how successful they was under their company in the past.

I thought they would find a new voice actor for Sticky when The proud family was coming back. He didn't even need to sound like Orlando Brown he could have used his own voice. If I have to guess when we see Sticky we think of Orlando Brown and Disney doesn't want that. Or they just thought it would be wrong to find a new voice actor for Sticky. They must have been really close to Orlando Brown. They must be really sad and hurt that Orlando Brown is in a bad place.
Sticky was probably removed because he was amale main character. instead of fading him further into the background they just wrote him off. what they did to sticky is kind of that trend they do to most male characters and minority side females that arent black.
I hope one of these days he can turn his life around and not succumb to former child star syndrome. We have seen what it does to victims.

Michael Collins he gets to be the only friend the only guy friend that has this feminine energy but I think that the real reason in the beginning why sticky he appeared in the proud family because The Proud Family penny with her friends it's considered a cartoon that is appealing to girls so they want to add a mixture between both I understand why Disney would never reach out to Orlando Brown because of his personal issues that he's been dealing with drugs prison sentence Orlando Brown he went through a lot but I think they should have recast sticky his character to choose another voice actor to play sticky why not this was so sad sticky he's gone

Honestly, if Sticky was ever reintroduced into the series, no matter what VA he has, it would be a welcome addition.
As for development for his character.. I wouldn't be surprised that IF he returned and IF he got that episode, it could potentially reveal that he is bi. Baseless point, just going off of his preferred hobbies, his character trailer, the trust girls have with him and his preferences with people. Plus he's more sensitive than most boy characters in the show. To memory, this was a common trope for leaning presenting characters up until the mid-late 2010s since they couldn't/wouldn't openly show that on TV.
They could’ve recast the character is a lot of different actors and people who do parities could’ve probably did Orlando Brown in a good way, and that character you just carry cash them for the raven reboot just can’t happen
