The Mazda CX-3 has been in the Mazda line since 2016, and has consolidated all trims into one streamlined Sport model, with a lot awesome equipment. Jonathan, You are exactly what I would hope for from a new car sales person. Honest, extremely knowledgeable about the product and you don't avoid the negative aspects. You do, however, present them in as positive light as possible.
I loved the "Very comfortable for 3 people" statement followed by sitting in the back "would not be comfortable with shutting the door." You also pointed out the lack of the only feature I would miss if I were to have this as my daily driver: the button on the door to unlock it instead of using the key fob.
The Mazda CX-3 is a great car for someone who does not need to transport adults in the back. It is shocking how much equipment you get for around $20,000 with Mazda's proven reliability.
Thank you very much. I really thought the CX-3 would be gone by now, but Mazda still sees a market and need for it. When they reduced to one trim and combined all the features and accessories, I was really surprised they did not include the advanced keyless entry. I guess that’s why they call it a “Sport” model. Really has a lot of features you wouldn’t expect.

Thanks Johnathan. I test drove a red soul locally and liked it. Then I thought about the 2.5 in the cx-30 for the extra power, but to get the red, I am forced to buy a premium trim at $30,000. The cx-3 is a remarkable value if you can live with the power.

What I like most about this little Mazda is the engine and transmission. The engine has the same configuration as the old Offenhauser racing engine. It pulls strongly throughout the entire RPM range. The transmission is geared instead of a belt drive (CVT) like its competitors. Belt drives must limit engine torque to prevent belt slippage making them dangerous to drive on the highway. The CX-3 pulls strongly from a stop right up to its hundred and some miles per hour top speed and does not use much fuel to do it. Sadly, Mazda is not a responsible company. They admit building "zoom-zoom" into all their cars but will not pay any fines that their "zoom-zoom" cars receive. Our Mazda gets more speeding tickets than our Ford ever did which proves it is the car that should be fined and not the driver. Mazda needs to take responsibility for what their cars do.

Mine is 2019 and it looks just like ..I hate it doesn't have sunroof.
Im seriously considering this as my next car in spring. Just perfect size for me, cargo space isn't a big deal. In the US, it only comes in 1 trim, the sport. Would it be a smart decision to buy this in your opinion considering the US market is discontinuing the other trims? Would it be difficult to find parts if in case this breaks down or parts need to be replaced? Thanks!
Good decision because of all the equipment on for this price. I wouldn’t be worried about parts because most are used on other Mazdas and it’s still very popular overseas.
What is actually the original price of this car before taxes and other fees? Coz, what I see through dealer website was MSRP $21740 and its a FWD.

just got Mazda cx 3 2019 grand touring ! heated seats + heated steering wheel.
Knocking the CX-3 down to one bottom-tier, basic budget trim option is the nail in the coffin. It will be discontinued & fully replaced by the CX-30 in the near future. The U.S. market just isn't friendly towards subcompact vehicles, sadly enough.
I agree. We like Bigger with more features.
@@JSS I don't fit into the U.S. market, because I prefer smaller (subcompact) with higher trim/feature/sporty options. Europe & other parts of the world get the best vehicles (IMO).

This is the best compact SUV I've ever seen since it's launch few years ago on a 18 inch wheels but the lower trim with 16 inch is a bit ugly to me. Wheels affects the outlook of the car very much. The steering and infotainment screen is not upgraded yet.
The 18” wheels do look a lot better.

Yes, there was some HDR processing that needed some updating also. I’ve noticed that you need a lot of light. I’ve thought about circling back around to this vehicle again. Would that be a help for you?
