    Imagine if they updated the CX-3 to the same standard as the Mazda 3. More soft touch points, better NVH, tuned suspension, new infotainment system and LED lights with a slightly new designed body. This little thing would sell like toilet paper during a Covid lockdown lol.
    I'm still tossing up between the Mazda 3 or the CX-3. Roughly around that 30k price tag so I could go for that LE version CX-3 which I like, specially in white paint with those black highlights but it's an old model now, lacks the niceties and features that the Mazda 3 now offers for the same price but the 3 then again lacks certain features like a leather steering wheel and touch screen display, plus is has a fairly boring black interior.
    Buying a new car might be the hardest thing in the world. I have none of the luxury in my current 2006 Mazda 6 Luxury Sport, besides the fancy name. It lacks all the features of a modern car. Literally have my phone connected to a cassette tape that has an AUX cord so I can play my music (Slightly better sound quality then a FM Bluetooth receiver).
    So going from this to anything new is a hard choice because I have too much choice.

    Thanks for your review and thoughts. Looking to possibly upgrade to either a CX3-Maxx, CX30 (not sure what model) or Mazda 3. I'm doing longer commutes and want a smoother ride, handles well in wet weather and bigger vehicle for safety. Currently have a Mazda 2- Neo, manual. Will have to test them all out. Have tested the Mazda 3 and that even felt much smoother.

    I like your presentation skills, but I wasn't sure about the model. I think I'm with Flaming Hedgehog, but then again its a good price...

    TIP: for those rattly tall bottles, stick them in a stubby holder which should fit in that cupholder space.

    Honestly, test drove it and it felt very dated and the price (inc on road costs) doesn’t justify.

    Hi, I'd like to ask, how does the cx3 react to loading three people and some Groceries at the rear seats and boot. Does the suspension drop and hit the floor on uneven surfaces when traveling?

    • @robertceroli3512
      @robertceroli3512 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Um if you need to ferry around 3 people in the back and groceries on a frequent basis I suggest you get a CX-5 or mitsi outlander like a garage or garden shed bigger is best

      I have a CX3 and it doesn't have any problem whatsoever... there is no issue in loading it to the hilt and it hitting the bottom at anytime and anywhere, It's a good, solid reliable peppy car and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

    I think the main rival is CX-30. They are almost the same size/price wise. Just go for the CX-30 Evolve and you'll get much more of a car than this for the money. (new infotainment, much more modern interior, awesome head-up display, led headlight and backlights, 18" black alloys...)

      The CX3 has a touchscreen but the CX30 you're required use the rotary dial through.

      The CX30 is 200kg heavier than CX3. You must choose a Skyactiv X to have the same performance, ant it’s not the same price… The CX3 is far more fun to drive.

    While the CX-3 may have some good points, I have a dislike for SUVs of any type. For me, I prefer a well sorted hatch or wagon in the small car segment, although the latter is now as scarce as rocking horse poo. I know that there are some who love the SUV style and that is fine. Its all about personal preference and taste.

    Enjoyed watching this review and agree with most points. Our family has a '17 CX5 and '19 CX3, both Maxx Sport, both great cars. The CX3 FWD for our not too tall family of 4 is first choice for driving around Sydney and say the 'gong and back, the CX5 AWD is obviously the prime vehicle for driving holidays...
    Have been happy with both since owning them though as a keen driver, tend to favour the CX3 if solo even on longer trips, the autos sport mode works especially well up and down mountain ranges and even manual shifting is sharper and nicer to use than many standard cars I've driven...
    On the cup holder, with taller coffee mugs or drink bottles a beer cooler works well in securing them better within the cup holder.
