      Christianity & Judaism Vs Islam:
      Christianity & Judaism:
1- Psalm 83:6 is removed in the Quran.
2- Jesus is Jewish. Our main guy is a Messiah who is Jewish. John 4:22 says salvation is from the Jews.
2.1- The Christian God is Jewish. When Jews reject divinity of Jesus, that's like humility: 'Oh, how could we say Yahweh is Jewish like us?' Meanwhile, gentile Christians can't be accused of narcissism for saying God is Jewish.
2.2- CHRIST IS KING/queen/monarch, regardless of Christ's identity.
3- Love your neighbour as yourself.
4- Be not afraid. (The most spoken sentence in Christian or Hebrew Bibles)
5- If hundreds of witnesses see someone die, then that person really is dead.
6- Abraham sacrificed Isaac, not Ishmael.
7- Our people know Torah and all these Messianic prophecies.
8- Elijah means 'God is Yahweh.'
9- Gave the world the holiday of Christmas on Dec25 or Jan01.
10- Lamentations 3:30 says turn the other cheek and is removed in the Quran.
11- Our religions started in what later became the state of Israel, a great country to live in. So are the US, the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Belgium & Switzerland.
12 - As of 2022: Our 2 most dictatorial countries Democratic Republic of the Congo & Central African Republic are Zionist. There are only 2 anti-Zionist Christian countries, Cuba & Venezuela, both dictatorships.
13- When Americans, British, Filipinx or Israelis are attacked like on 2001Sep11 or 2023Oct07 or in Mindanao, we bring perpetrators to justice.
14- Chess: We have Bobby Fischer x Miyoko Watai, Bobby's nephew Wesley So x Carissa Yip, Vera Menchik, Boris Gelfand, Nona Gaprindashvili, Fabiano Caruana, Irina Krush, Hans Niemann, Carissa Yip, Sergey Karjakin, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Anatoly Karpov, the Polgar sisters, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Nona Gaprindashvili, MVL, the Muzychuk sisters, Vladimir Kramnik, Mogul chessboxing champion Dina Belenkaya, Levon Aronian x Arianne Caoili (and Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov & Hikaru Nakamura x Atousa, but they're cheaters). (Bonus: Add Hinduism for Vishy Anand & Buddhism for Liren Ding.)
15- 'Sabbath/Shabbat was made for man/woman. Not humans for the Sabbath.'
16- Matthew 10:37 - Jesus never said love Jesus or God MORE than your family.
17- Matthew 18:6 a fortiori means that employing child soldiers is a war crime.
18- Our top countries are the US & Israel. The US, aka the great Satan, is the leader of the free world, is the top in Christian population & the top 2 in Jewish population. Israel, aka the little Satan, is the Jewish state. Gee. Who gave our top countries these names great & little Satan?
19- We're anti-fragile. Christianity: After Jews & Romans killed Jesus, we got, respectively, Paul & Constantine. Judaism: As of 2022, Israel has never lost a war and gains territory during some wars.
20- Acts 17:11 praises Jews & Christians for questioning scripture daily.
      Islam:
1- Mohammed is an Ishmaelite and at 53yo did a 9yo girl.
2- Jesus is Muslim. Jesus' Messiahship pales in comparison to seal Mohammed & upcoming Mahdi.
2.1- Islam's rejection of Jesus' divinity is more like 'God is Jewish? No way. Allah is Arab! Mohammed is de facto deified s.t. the Muslim God is gentile Arab. This won't be narcissistic if we spread Islam outside the Arab world.' Lol.
2.2- Sahih al-Bukhari 7137 says that you obey Mohammed if and only if you obey God. MOHAMMED IS (not - wink wink - GOD BUT) KING.
3- Muslims don't know Quran 5:51 and so wonder why Christians support Jews/Israel over Muslims/Palestine/Arab world. Lol.
4- Be afraid. (The most implied sentence in Islam)
5- If hundreds of witnesses see someone die, then it's possible that Allah will use this person to start 2 false religions. (Judaism = Jesus is not Messiah. Christianity = Jesus is God.)
6- Quran denies Genesis 16:12 after THREE millennia (2400 BC to 600 AD).
      7- Mohammed can't read and at 53yo did a 9yo girl.
8- Mohammed thought God's name is Allah because of the Aramaic 'Eli' and at 53yo did a 9yo girl.
9- Gave the world the holidays of 2001Sep11 & 2023Oct07.
10- Islamic Breaking Bad: 'A Jew/Christian opens their door and turns the other cheek and you think that of me? I am the one who slaps!'
11- Saudi Arabia is... Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Norway, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon are...
12- As of 2022: We have only 3 democracies. Indonesia & Malaysia are the only 2 anti-Zionist democracies and they just so happen to be Muslim. (3rd is Albania, the only Zionist Muslim democracy.) There are only 3 anti-Zionist non-Muslim countries (Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea), all dictatorships.
      13- Who are Kurds, Uyghur's or Rohingya's?
14- We have Alireza Firouzja...oh left for France. We have Teimour Radjabov, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov & Nodirbek Abdusattorov ... oh wait those 3 are probably Jewish since FSU. (But ok fine Bassem Amin, the only supergrandmaster medical doctor & Randa Seder are impressive.)
15- Praying 5x a day is a whole hour. It's like going to church everyday.
16- Sahih al-Bukhari 15 : Mohammed at 53yo did a 9yo girl, yet we're supposed to love Mohammed MORE than our family. WE MUST LOVE MOHAMMED MORE THAN ALLAH. Golda Meir:
17- Hamas does this, but Mohammed at 53yo did a 9yo girl, so I guess Muslims don't consider 9yo as children.
18- Indonesia is the top in Muslim population and is luckily a democracy because Indonesia is also the top in ex-Muslims who convert to Christianity (or Judaism). Lol!
19- Islam is very fragile. Islam might be the fastest growing in believers (Muslims) but is also the fastest in apostates (ex-Muslims) even despite apostasy laws. Lol. Additionally, Mohammed was poisoned by the prophetess Zaynab bint Al-Harith (peace be upon her), a Jewish woman w/ a lamb. This represents 3 enemies of Islam/Jihadism/Arab world:
      A. Christianity/democracy/the US, the top in Christian population & the top 2 in Jewish population (But actually depending on your definition of Jew, the US may be considered the top in Jewish population!) aka the great Satan (lamb)
      B. Judaism/Zionism/Israel, the Jewish state aka the little Satan (Jewish)
      C. Feminism (woman)
      D. Me (I was told I'm the 4th enemy. Lol.)
I got this idea from David Wood & Apostate Prophet - peace be upon h.
Someone compared this to how Jesus saved a Jewish woman from stoning. So similarly, I thought of how this represents 2 allies of Christianity/democracy/the US:
      A. Judaism/Zionism/Israel (Jewish)
      B. Feminism (woman)
      And 1 enemy of Christianity:
      C. Islam/Jihadism/Arab world (re stoning)
Now as for Zaynab: Islam never gained allies from Christianity, Judaism or feminism the way Christianity gained from Romans & Judaism.
20- Quran 5:101 says Allah hates questions. Lol. (Ok I'm taking out of context. But come on. You know Gasai what I mean.)
      ---
      Also
      - Judaism inspired the foundation of the US. ( see UB-i-UPJAtY )
      - Christianity inspires the continuation/sustenance of the US/west/democracy.
      - Islam will inspire the end of the US/west/democracy.
      Reminds me of
      - The 1st generation makes/starts the business.
      - The 2nd generation maintains/improves it.
      - The 3rd spends it.
      - The 4th wastes it.

2nd: 0- How do you know Gasai about corruption or Gospel or Torah given there's no such verse outright explicitly in the Quran as David Wood & Apostate Prophet PBUH say?
1- How do you explain Nikah halala? Aisha? Maria the copt? Human shields? 72 houris?
      2
      As of 2022:
      - The 2 most democratic Muslim countries, Malaysia & Indonesia, is anti-Zionist. The only 2 anti-Zionist democracies are precisely those 2, and then they're both Muslim.
      - The 2 most dictatorial Christian countries, CAR & DCR, are Zionist.
      - There are only 3 anti-Zionist non-Muslim countries, namely Cuba, Venezuela & North Korea. While 2 are unfortunately Christian, they're the only 2 Christian anti-Zionist countries, and then they're both dictatorships.
      What does this mean?
      3
Why are Christian/Jewish/Hindu countries generally more democratic and better to live in than Muslim countries?
      4
Why's most terrorism today from Islam?
      5
There are stories of abused ex-Muslim women saved by Christianity/Judaism. Where are the stories of abused ex-Christian/ex-Jewish women saved by Islam? LOL.
      6
Chess: Why do Jewish, Hindu & Christian players do better than Muslim players?
      7a
Mohammed lived in 600 AD, was no scholar, had many wives & slaves, claimed to know better than Paul & Matthew who actually knew Jesus & Peter while Paul & Jesus died as martyrs living in poverty.
      7b
Jesus saved a Jewish woman from stoning. This represents 2 allies of Christianity/democracy/the US, the top in Christian population & the top 2 in Jewish population (But actually depending on your definition of Jew, the US may be considered the top in Jewish population!) aka the great Satan:
1- Judaism/Zionism/Israel, the Jewish state aka the little Satan (Jewish)
      2- Feminism (woman)
      And 1 enemy of Christianity
      3- Islam/Jihadism/Arab world (stoning)
Mohammed was poisoned/murdered/killed/assassinated by the prophetess Zaynab bint Al-Harith (peace be upon her), a Jewish woman w/ a lamb. This represents 3 enemies of Islam/Jihadism/Arab world:
      1- Christianity/democracy/the US (lamb)
      2- Judaism/Zionism/Israel (Jewish)
      3- Feminism (woman)
      Coincidence? Prophecy?
      8
Muslims say Jesus preached Islam and then the message was corrupted by Paul, Constantine & Council of Nicaea. Why can't Christians say Mohammed preached Christianity and then the message was corrupted by Uthman?
      9
Why do non-Muslims agree the world is better off if each Muslim converted to other religions like Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism? (Maybe not Buddhism because of China & Myanmar. Lol.) Or at least is better as compared to if all Christians converted to Islam?
      10
      Re Quran 4:157
      10a
Sheikh Imran Hosein says Jesus wasn't crucified in the sense of not dying in the sense that Jesus' soul & body were separated but only temporarily. Why can't this be? (oYYmAQxjaQc)
      10b
What was the point of the crucifixion illusion which created 2 false religions (Judaism = Jesus not Messiah & Christianity = Jesus is God) ? (Y7E_tW2HXfk)
      10c
Why don't Quran 3:169 & Quran 8:17 suggest a different reading as David Wood says? (fMe9tCCs2h8)
      11
How come after Jesus said turn the other cheek (Lamentations 3:30), love your enemies, no divorce, no employing children to do evil (Matthew 18:6) no stoning unless sinless (John 8:7), Mohammed seemingly threw all these away?
      12
      What does Messiah even mean?
      13
What is the point of messiahship, virgin birth and then either death & resurrection or crucifixion illusion of Jesus? And even the title Word of God?
      14
Sahih al-Bukhari 7137 says that you obey Mohammed if and only if you obey Allah. MOHAMMED IS ALLAH?! HAHAHAHA
      15
Sahih al-Bukhari 15 : We're supposed to love Mohammed MORE than our family. WE MUST LOVE MOHAMMED MORE THAN ALLAH. How did Mohammed supersede Jesus in Matthew 10:37 where Jesus never said to love Jesus more than family?
      16
Indonesia is the top in Muslim population and is luckily a democracy because Indonesia is also the top in ex-Muslims who convert to Christianity (or Judaism). So without apostasy laws and stuff and with more democracy, Muslims will convert to Christianity (or Judaism)? LOL.
      17

It's a common trope among the intellectually bankrupt Christian polemics to attack Islam first before explaining what Christianity says about reality and what not. They literally cannot let their own "religion" speak for itself. They need Islam to exist so that they can use it as a starting point for their self-refuting and idiotic arguments whenever they want to tear anything down. And that's the thing with these people. They're useless. They don't build anything, they only know how to attack, critique and tear down ideas. But I'm not saying that they're actually successful in that, they couldn't be further from it if we're being honest.

Over 94% of these manuscripts come to you from after the ninth Christian century - so 800 years or more after the books of the New Testament were first written and placed in circulation. But some of them are early - with fragments going back to the second century and most complete full manuscript (Codex sinaticus) going back to the fourth century, So in reality you have 0 % manuscript from the first 125 years at least .

You made some points under a specific reply thread. This is a refutation of it:
      A) It literally says nothing about the authority of Torah and the gospel. Verse 3 says that the Quran was sent down confirming what came before it. In order to confirm something, one must be in line with what it is confirming. The early Muslims knew the text the Christians and Jews had, and if it was the Bible you have today. How did they deal with the Bible CLEARLY being different (like Moses' leprous hand) from what the Quran was saying? The Quran confirming the Bible proves that the Bible is not the previous revelation. If the Quran 'confirms' what came before it, what came before it has to be in line with it. Quran elsewhere says that the crucifixion is a conjecture, and the NT teaches the crucifixion, hence the Quran doesn't confirm the New Testament. An evidence of this can be seen from what the early Muslims were doing. We see in a few hadiths that the Jewish texts were very much similar to the Quranic texts, hence the Quran CONFIRMS the previous revelations.
      - They said, "In the Torah, we find that if four men testify that they saw his male organ in her womb, similar to when the eyeliner is inserted inside the eyeliner container; in this case they are stoned."
      (Al-Munzhiri declared this narration to be authentic in Al-Targheeb Wal-Tarheeb, Volume 3, p. 188)
      B) Okay? So? You know that we have NOTHING from the other stream that disagreed with Paul? We only have Acts which was written by an unknown follower of Paul which we can't even prove was an eyewitness. Allah made them more dominant than the liars, what do you mean by dominance? Dominance doesn't mean that one side will be in power and one won't. There have been people who were believers, but were slaves, powerless, yet Allah still promised them dominance. Dominance has nothing to do with popularity, power etc.
      C) The same thing I addressed. If this is what the Quran really meant, you're basically saying the author of the Quran and the early Muslims believed that the Catholic Church was also divinely inspired. Which is bogus and has no evidence. Instead, the Catholic Church which teaches the Trinity was attacked by the Quran (The belief that God is the third of three, which would mean ANY form of Trinity).
      D) This is why the Quran doesn't say "The texts that is with the Christians and the Jews is the very word of God Allah sent" but rather that the Quran confirms the torah and Injeel. The Quran cannot confirm something that doesn't align with it. The same New Testament (Injeel, in your perception) that the Quran confirms contains explicit teaching of crucifixion, something which the Quran says is a conjecture.
Conclusion: The author of the Quran never says anything about any Bible. But Torah and Injeel, the Torah and Injeel were the true revelations sent by Allah. Your Bible has a saying of mustard seed from Jesus, which the Quran says was sent by Allah, hence that is the Injeel. The Quran is the criterion, it is an attribute of the Quran known as "Al Furqan". As 5:48 speaks about the Quran being the criterion, and that make sense. If the Quran is the criterion, it is to be used as the criteria in distinguishing what comes from Allah and what doesn't. This is how the Quran confirms what came before it. If the Quran says that God exists, but the Bible says that God doesn't exist, how can the Quran CONFIRM the Bible? Despite the author of the Quran clearly knowing what was in the Bible (Moses' leprous hand being refuted in the Quran as the Quran says it is "unblemished" is intentional).

I think the slide at the end really helps.
You can't both claim something is preserved and authoritative and then preach a bunch of stuff that conflicts from that something and supposedly nobody realized this until some scholar mentions it 400 years later. You can't say something should be followed and is salvation then on another hand repeatedly say things that imply those people following it over the Quran are not saved and it should not be followed over the Quran.
There are several reasons why so many terrible arguments come from the Christians. One is that they treat the Quran like how they treat their Bible, making up whatever interpretation regardless of how conflicting and speculative it is and regardless of having virtually no qualifications nor any authority to do so.

Lying against the Quran is even worse than lying against the Bible and saying Jesus is X or claiming the Bible is preserved without proving it. Now even Christians have are lost with your nonsense.
Anyways, the Quran never affirms the preservation of the Bible but rather specifically says the Torah is corrupted and the Christians corrupted the religion of Jesus after him.
As for Christian scholarship regarding it,
The Christian Biblical scholars have a consensus that
      1. The authors of the 4 Gospels are unknown
      2. Not a single NT author is eye witness
      3. Oldest mansucript, Rylands Library Papyrus P52, dates to 150-175 which shows that *no eye witness wrote it.*
      4. 94% of the New Testament mansucripts comes from 9th century onwards i.e 94% of the NT mansucripts that *EXIST* were written after the Quran.
Reddish, Mitchell (2011). An Introduction to The Gospels.
Lindars, Barnabas; Edwards, Ruth; Court, John M. (2000). The Johannine Literature
Then you have edition like the NIV that says in it's footnotes that the Verses regarding the Adulteress are *NOT* in the early mansucripts thus making them fabricated verses. Famously 1 John 5:7 was shown to be a *fabrication* hence why most Bible editions *removed it completely.*
The NT is corrupt. Your entire religion is based on this corruption that has no link to any of the living humans during the era it's reporting from. No amount of lying about the Quran will change the facts and you know it.

What if you addressed the actual argument?
      A. The Quran testifies to the authority of the Torah and Gospel. Surah 3:3-4
      B. The Quran testifies that with Allah’s help the true followers of Jesus become dominant. Surah 61:14
      C. The believers who became dominant were the Catholic church.
      D. The Catholic church, the Torah, and Gospel directly contradict the Quran in teachings and in the telling of stories in Scripture.
Conclusion: the Quran and therefore Islam is false because they are not in line with what they claim came before it OR the Quran and therefore Islam is false because they claim to come after the Torah and Gospel when the Quran should be claiming to be distinct and different from anything that came before it.

      A. Quran affirms Tawrat & Injeel were revelations given to the respective prophets sent by God to guide their own people.
Whenever Quran quotes these names, it refers to those revelations.
Not the ones written by anonymous writers.
B & C. There were many factions of early Christianity.
One of them was the group who proclaimed the truth and said that he was neither god nor the son of god, but he was Allah's servant and His Messenger.
Eventually, Allah raised the Final Messenger of Allah who supported the group of the true believers.
      The Believers prevailed.
History tells us how the Roman empire collapsed after embracing Christianity while Islam brought the light to the dark ages.
      D. When asked of the most important commandment, Jesus answered :
Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is the ONLY GOD. (Mark 12.29)
The same message from all prophets sent by God can also be found in Deut 6.4.
The Old and the New Testaments contradict each other in so many ways, that they can’t logically, truthfully, honestly, rationally, reasonably be called HOLY scriptures.

@@letmetalk2240 First: accusing your accuser of having the same error you are being accused of doesn't justify your error... but ok, never mind, I hope you would understand the following:
==> It was not Paul who changed anything, but Jesus.
He said that he came to fulfill the law.. (Math5:17-18). He clearly stated that all of the law will always stand. But.. and that's really the point: it is in him (in Jesus), that all of the law is fulfilled! And Jesus made that clear in the gospels.. The food law is a good example:
Mark 7:18 So He (Jesus) said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, (thus purifying all foods)?” 20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”
The law of the old testament showed all the world that the people of God are supposed to be different than the surrounding, gentile nations. And it were just those laws that pointed to the coming of the righteous one, who fulfilled all of these laws! All other people, every human being (including me and you), fail miserably in trying to keep all of Gods laws.. The only one who was able to do it, was God Himself, who took on Himself our fallen state as human beings by becoming human. He obeyed and fulfilled all of the law.. That's why He is the only one who could stand as a worthy sacrifice offering to pay for the sin of the world..
The universal moral laws and the ceremonial/sacrificial laws, all still stand for every person. But there is no one on earth that can obey all of them... And it is actually Jesus who changed the understanding of the law by revealing its true meaning..
Think for yourself: look at some specific food and hygiene laws, like unclean animals (shell fish, pig,..), having a place outside the camp and covering your excrements... That was actually really helpful for the Israelites to survive 40 years in the desert... Today we know what terrible bacteria and diseases can come with shellfish and pig meat. Bacteria we now can control by antibiotics in the animal foods and so on.. But Jesus declared all food clean and revealed what it is really about: Mark 7:18 "Do you not perceive (Jesus spoke) that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated?
So, in short, we didn't change Gods word... We follow the one who is Gods Word! And in Jesus, trough His Holy Spirit, we become more like Him, the perfect one... If we repent from our sin and put our trust in Him completely.
      Thnx

Saying that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ took from the so-called "bible" is like saying the authors of the so-called "bible" took from the Torah. The chronological argument is a cheap-shot on the part of the Christians when we already admit that the original book has been corrupted so obviously some truth remains in them. However, one verse Christians overlook from the Qur'an and settles their cheap-shot argument is the following:
"And We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a muhaymin (superseding) over it. So judge between them by what Allāh has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allāh willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allāh is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ." (Qur'an - 5:48)

Prof. Bart Ehrman who has deep understanding of the subject got something for you to ponder:
If Muslim scholars over the centuries - from the very beginning - made dead sure that when they copied their sacred text they didn’t change anything, why didn’t Christian scribes do the same thing??? Here I should stress that within Judaism as well, at least in the Middle Ages, there was exorbitant care taken to ensure that every page, every sentence, every word, every letter of the Torah was copied with complete and resolute accuracy (that’s not true for an earlier period of Judaism, to be sure; but it became true in Judaism in a way that never, ever was true in Christianity). Christian scribes did not do the same thing. We have many thousands of manuscripts of the New Testament. They all have mistakes in them. Lots of accidental mistakes (hundreds of thousands) from times that scribes were inept, inattentive, sleepy, or otherwise careless; and even lots of mistakes that appear to be places that scribes altered the text to make them say something other than what it originally said.
You don’t appear to get that with the Qur’an.

That is the point, the Quran only speaks positively about the Jewish and Christian Scriptures- never once saying the texts have any fault. The only thing you can get from the Quran is people misinterpret or misrepresent what is in their Scriptures by their tongue. The biggest problem is you are even required to believe in the previous Scripture the same way you believe in the Quran, divinely inspired and preserved. Surah 4:136=
O you who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed upon His Messenger *and the Book which He revealed from before.* And whoever disbelieves in Allah and His Angels, *and His Books,* and His Messengers and the Day the Last, then surely he lost the way, straying far away.

Personally, I do not find this to be a dumb argument against Islam at all and think its perfectly clear that Muhammed copied many stories from both the Jews & Christians, plus other faiths and historical pagan beliefs as well.
This is simply "Logical" when you look at Muhammed's life! To explain this I would simply say.... Muhammed was born and was essentially a "Nobody" who had no wealth and no official education. However, Muhammed then married his first wife who happened to be one of the richest and most powerful traders in Mecca at the time.
This is where the problem began, because basically, Muhammed was then thrown into "High Society" that he essentially went from nothing, to suddenly being the husband of one of the richest and most powerful women in all of Mecca. However, its a known fact that Muhammed could NOT HELP his new wife with her business because Muhammed....
    Couldn't read or write.
    Knew nothing about math.
Had 0% experience as a business person.
Didn't know or understand his wife's trade very well.
Basically, Muhammed first wife DID NOT need Muhammed's help at all. Muhammed first wife was basically "Killing It" and was running an extremely good and powerful business without any help from Muhammed at all. She was already a "Made Women / Rich Women" and she didn't need her new husband to help. She had already made her business a total success, without Muhammed.
In this case, what did Muhammed do? Well actually, Muhammed simply lazed around and was suddenly thrust into rich / high / upper class society, where he had MANY YEARS to sit around speaking to scholars, traders, travelers, business experts, religious gurus.
Muhammed married his first wife when he was 25 years old. But Muhammed didn't get his first revelation until he was 40 years old. That means Muhammed actually had 15 years sitting around in the high society of Mecca where he had more than enough chance to hear plenty of stories about the Jews, Christians and other religions and beliefs.
The entire nature of his wife's business meant Muhammed will have met rich merchants and travelers EVERYDAY! He met people from the four corners of the Middle East and beyond. That is where Muhammed heard all these stories and fables about the Jewish religion / Christian religion / plus other pagan religions and myths.
Please keep in mind that maybe 98% of people in Mecca was not in Muhammed's position. That the vast majority of people in Mecca was extremely poor, illiterate and had no formal education or contact with rich merchants, traders and travelers like Muhammed did.
Because of his first wife, Muhammed basically had 15 years to meet some of the richest and most powerful traders in the land, which is where he heard all these stories from other religions. Whilst the "Common Folk" of Mecca will have NOT met the richest and most powerful and educated traders.
Farid makes it sound like everyone in Mecca knew every single detail of the Jewish and Christian religions, when in reality about 98% of them couldn't read or write, didn't know the language and couldn't afford to travel. The vast majority of people back then was peasants who knew hardly anything about the outside world.
That is not an insult towards Saudi or Muslims! Look at my country, the UK. In the 7th century about 98% of my country couldn't read or write and had no idea about the outside world. If you believe the story then around 1885 a monkey washed ashore in the UK and the people hung it thinking it was a French spy, that is how little most people knew about the outside world. They thought a monkey was a French man!
In 1546 the English writer John Heywood wrote the Moon was made of cheese and a lot of people actually believed him. Most people knew very little about the world and it was only those who moved in high society / rich society / educated society who knew more, which is exactly the circle where Muhammed spend much of his young life, thanks to his rich wife.
Between the ages of 25 to 40 Muhammed essentially reminds me of a "Stoner" who simply lazed around his wife's rich business and got to meet some of the most educated and powerful people of the entire region, which is where he heard all the stories, legends and myths about other religions. Where 98% of people in Mecca was NOT hearing such things because they was peasants.
Lazing around his wife's rich business was basically like Muhammed sitting in a university for 15 years and getting to hear all the rich and educated traders stories from far away lands. Muhammed will have known far more about the Jews & Christians just by sitting and listening to all the rich traders and business men who passed though his wife's business.
Hence why over 70% of the Quran can be traced back to stories from the Jewish or Christian faith. This is "Logical" and exactly how the world works! To give an example, I could spend 15 years sitting and listening to Farid telling me everything he can about Islam, but in the end, Farid would still know more than me.
I would then go and write a book and I would make many mistakes! I would forget details. I would make errors in interpretation. I would simply get a lot of details wrong. Farid would then look at that book and easily be able to point out all my mistakes.
That is what happened with the Quran! Muhammed simply copied what he had heard, but he didn't get it all correct. He used second or even third hand knowledge from the stories rich merchants and travelers had told him.
If you have 10,000 peasants who know nothing about the outside the world, but then you take 1 peasant and place him in a university where he spends 15 years listening to everything that was said. Then sure, the other 10,000 peasants will look at that 1 person like a God, like some super magical and amazing person who knows so much more than them.
In my eyes, that is exactly what Muhammed did. He spent 15 years lazing around his wife's rich and powerful business and managed to hear about 10,000 times more than your average peasant did. Muhammed essentially spent 15 years hearing stories about the Jewish and Christian religions from the North and simply decided to copy it.
Not sure why any Muslim would find that offensive as basically every religion on the planet was copied from somewhere! My guess is that Muhammed thought....
"Hey, those Jews and Christians in the North are praying to 1 God, whilst us in Saudi Arabi are praying to loads of different pagan Gods. Hey, its a super cool idea and a lot easier just to pray to one God! Why don't we pray to just one God like them?"
Perhaps Muhammed greatest revelation was him thinking....
"Hey, we are fractured, we are praying to loads of different pagan Gods, where the Jews and Christians are just praying to 1 God and look how powerful they have become! Look how much Christianity has grown! I want some of that action! We should just pray to one God as well" Which is essentially the message Muhammed began to spread.
Muslims could jump up and down saying the Quran was not copied from anywhere, when in reality every religion is copied from faiths, stories and beliefs from before that religion.
The vast majority of Muhammed so called revelations simply came from stories, tales and myths he had been told about other religions, with a huge herd of peasants around him who believed every word he said because they didn't know any better.
My guess is that without his rich wife thrusting him into high society Muhammed would have died as a nobody, just another poor peasant in some harsh land.
How totally stupid and pathetic that Muhammed claims women are fools. That women are not as intelligent as men, when really Muhammed spent about 20 years riding on the coat tails of his rich wife who had already built one of the best businesses in Mecca before Muhammed even showed up.
Muhammed was so intelligent that he couldn't even continue running his wife's business after she died and had to resort to robbing caravans to even feed himself. His first wife built a thriving business, where Muhammed could do little else but become a thief who robbed caravans to even survive.
But apparently, according to Islam, its women who are the dumb ones!
Without his first wife Muhammed would have been nothing!

And unto thee [O Prophet] have We vouchsafed this divine writ, setting forth the truth, confirming the truth of WHATEVER THERE STILL REMAINS OF EARLIER REVELATION AND DETERMINING WHAT IS TRUE THEREIN. Judge, then, between the followers of earlier revelation in accordance with what God has bestowed from on high,65 and do not follow their errant views, forsaking the truth that has come unto thee. Unto every one of you have We appointed a [different] law and way of life.66 And if God had so willed, He could surely have made you all one single community: but [He willed it otherwise] in order to test you by means of what He has vouchsafed unto, you. Vie, then, with one another in doing good works! Unto God you all must return; and then He will make you truly understand all that on which you were wont to differ.
    (Quran 5:48)

Quran has already made it very clear that when it mentions Torah and Injeel, it refers to the revelations given directly to Prophet Musa AS (Moses) and Prophet Isa AS (Jesus) respectively.
