The Complete Refutation of Christians who claim that the Black Stone is Idolitary:
First, some background before the argument:
Numbers 21:4-9 - 4 From Mount Hor, they set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom. And the people became impatient on the way. 5 And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” 6 Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people so that many people of Israel died. 7 And the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.
2 Kings 18:4 - He removed the high places and broke the pillars and cut down the Asherah. And he broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it (the staff was named Nehushtan).
Muslims do not bow to the black stone, nor do we prostrate to it, nor do we sacrifice to it because it is just a stone and doing so would be considered idolatrous. However, some Christians object to this and say that Islam is idolatrous for having the black stone, although we don’t treat it as a divine object, simply as a gift from God. But if you look into the bible, it will teach that according to the standards of these Christians, both Christianity and Judaism are idolatrous for having an idol named Nehushtan and sacrificing for it. Still, those Christians claim that it isn’t idolatry, so why do they call the black stone an idol when Muslims don’t pray or sacrifice to it? They can either say the black stone isn’t idolatry (the logical answer) or they can say that both Christianity and Islam are idolatrous.

    • @AlonzoHarris235
      @AlonzoHarris235 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      There is an easier refutation.
Their god is literally called a stone in the bible.
It’s one of his titles. Yahweh is called a stone in the bible.
Jesus is also called a stone in the bible. There is no Muslim that calls god a stone.
      Why are they called stones?
They are named after the anointed bethel stone of Jacob in the OT.
The Christian tradition knows this. That’s why they teach that Jesus is buried in a venerated rock.
If a Christian makes these claims. He simply gave up on Christianity and has no logical arguments against Islam. They resort to these poor claims and ‘arguments’ that debunk their own position.

If we wish to be accurate to history here, the idea of Islam being a Christian heretical sect(Naaudhubillah) is pretty ancient.
John of Damascus(who was contemporary to Umar ibn Abdul Aziz) advocated such theories as well and he is one of the most influential Christians in history.

Mashallah, this video does a great job of showing how illogical their argument is. The first time I personally encountered this idiotic argument was when it was used by a British author Tom Holland. Like the clown in this video, Holland claimed that Makkah cannot be in the Hijaz, but is actually in Syria because fruits such as figs, and olives mentioned in the Quran cannot grow in Makkah. That's kind of like me saying that I don't actually live in the Northern part of the United States because I know what a pineapple is and I've eaten it before even though pineapples cannot grow where I live.

What for? Farid doesn’t need to dialogue with a deluded, lying pathetic fellow who doesn’t know what logic is and has not read any classical works on Islam in its original language. Nothing to dialogue about.

My advice is to only accept what you find evidence for, and you have have no evidence Muhammad bin al-Hasan ever existing.

Did Farid really just raise a strawman? Chris says the Quran talks about geography that does not match Mecca. Farid says, Did Muhammad have access to information he shouldn’t have? What?!

this is a core reason why orientalists say what they say.
And Quran never say mecca is full of gardens. Infact when Quran talks about Abraham leaving Ishmael there, Abraham remarked that it was a valley of no cultivation. He even made dua that they maybe provided with fruits. And today mecca as we know is not suitable for cultivation but fruits from everywhere is transported there.
Would it not be more effective to talk about the greatly sought rain and gardens to desert dwellers than not?
In any case I know and memorized every verse of Quran and I know what I am talking about. You don't and neither do your scholars.

You do realize that evidence of Mecca existing before 6th century seems to be all but lost and nothing exists to prove it was a trade center as claimed. Neighbouring cities have evidence, but they too have none of Mecca, even though it is close by. That is why the claims in Quran are doubtful.

Don't change the topic. The geography in Quran does not contradict it. There is no "mecca is the biggest trade center" verse in Quran.

I did not say biggest trade center or that it was in Quran.
But what is in Quran is that it is the Mother of Cities. No archaeological evidence of this being oldest city on earth is there to be found anywhere. The footnote you see there also affirms it is the oldest place of worship.
      S6:92
This is a blessed Book which We have revealed-confirming what came before it-so you may warn the Mother of Cities1 and everyone around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter ˹truly˺ believe in it and guard their prayers.

so i read imam shafii said that aishia was prepubescent when they consummated their marriage, and so far no one refuted that based on my research.. how can i explain this to a kuffar?

I don't know where you read Imam Shafii saying that, as far as i know, in the Shafii School and Hanbali School, a woman is considered pre pubescent if she is below 15 and no sign of puberty occurs.
We know that Muhammad ﷺ consummated the marriage at 9, so if Aisha R.A was not physically mature at 9, why did the Prophet ﷺ wait for 3 years? It makes no sense.

@@carbonic9115 >>> We know that Muhammad ﷺ consummated the marriage at 9, so if Aisha R.A was not physically mature at 9, why did the Prophet ﷺ wait for 3 years?
      ===========================
      I don't buy it.
Aisha was NOT a traumatized woman.
She was a woman leader and had her voices heard by her people.
She was one of the important figure.
She didn't come across as someone who was forced to marry as a little girl.
Moreover, not a single enemy of the Prophet ever used his marriage to Aishah as the reason to discredit him.
Most of the narratives printed in the books of hadith are reported only by Hisham ibn `Urwah, who was reporting on the authority of his father.
First of all, more people than just one, two or three should logically have reported.
It is strange that no one from Medina, where Hisham ibn `Urwah lived the first 71 years of his life narrated the event,
despite the fact that his Medinan pupils included the well-respected Malik ibn Anas.
The origins of the report of the narratives of this event are people from Iraq,
where Hisham is reported to have shifted after living in Medina for most of his life.
There are hadiths that put her age as 19 years old when she married the Prophet.
      So there is a contradiction.
The narrative of the marriage of nine-year-old Aisha by Hisham ibn `Urwah cannot be held true when it is contradicted by many other reported narratives.
