i agree with you, this is truly one of THE great songs. the drop after the intro IS one of the heaviest riffs and guitar sounds ever put to tape (equal with Killing in the Name imho), and you DO want to just stay in there forever. the first time eye ever took ecstasy,, that same section after the first chorus seemed to last about an hour, and the moment remains a highlight of this life. spiral out.

I was obsessed with this song for the longest time. I used to think this was their greatest song ever! Tool taught me different when they put out other stuff that blue me away, they have no limits to how great they can be. 2000 years from now, people in the future will listen to this and think, "Oh they were really advanced in the past, and they had incredible knowledge of music theory!", completely ignoring the fucked up shit that we had to put up with and that Tool actually sang about.
