It's probably going to be $750-$800+ easily I don't think for most use cases the extra v cache is worth the premium I'm upgrading from an i7 4790k so even the 7700x im getting is plenty more in thee cache department and literally everything else And newegg has a $100 off bundle with this mobo and the 7700x, match made in heaven and extremely future proof when stuff comes down in price
If you're installing a Samsung 980pro Gen4 M.2 is it ok to install it into the NVME 5.0 slot? Is there a preferred slot to use? IE does it share bandwidth with the GPU PCIe
I bought the same MB except its the non wifi version. Safed an other 20 bucks on the Wifi. I use anyway a fiber card and if i would have some problems i have a wifi stick with wifi 5 or 6 so why spending an other 20bucks for just the wifi.
will be my new build shortly, my am4 system is beast but . since there is new tuf am5. im going ahead with it, going to pull the 7800xt out and place it with this board and 7xxx proc. get a 6700xt to replace it and give away the am4 tuf with the 5800x3d to somebody that needs it.
This board has problems, mine does not start sometimes I press the piwer buttom found out it is the cpu socket giving me problems. Im returning this board and getting the ROG
Um why not put a 7950X on it? It's not like there is any higher tier Chipset out there for AM5, and they are quite energy efficient, so the VRMs will be safe anyways!
acabo de armar un equipo con esa tarjeta madre, ryzen 7600x, memorias que vienen en la misma lista de soporte de compatibilidad pero no me da video, prendes varios led secuencial los tipicos de cpu dram, vga pero el led de boot se queda en verde y de ahi no pasa, que crees que puede ser? es la misma tarjeta madre de este video
@@jaygraham8922 Thanks for the tip, my sapphire GPU takes almost 3 slots of pcie space. Need to make sure it will fit without interfering with the 2nd motherboard's pcie slot.
I'm new to your channel... Well, I am very much interested in the Asus Strix x670E, Ryzen 9 7900X, 2x32 GB DDR5 6000 MT/s, 2TB NVMe 6Gb/s PCIe5... Already got RTX 3060 12GB for my ancient i7 6th Gen, 2x 8GB DDR4 2133 MT/s, SSD 600 Mb/s... My i7 as it currently is has been serving me faithfully for over a decade and still does. I love the Unreal Engine very much and it is the only reason to buy a new computer (referring to only Mobo, CPU, RAM and NVMe). GPU and PSU are already sorted until I'm convinced my GPU needs replacement... I don't know how efficiently my above-mentioned AMD specs will compare to my current i7 system... PS: Thanks for stressing that the TUF PCIe slots are not backwards compatible because my RTX 3060 is PCIe4, thus changing my mind up from TUF to Strix. Thanks for the stressing.
And i would not go for a Strix except you go for RTX4090 or 5090 build and 7950X or future 8750X or you need some o the few feature they offer more....

News Flash,,, X3D V-Cache will only be offered in 8-core or 6-core versions. No 7900 or 7950 with V-Cache.

Does it fit a 2.5 pcie slot gpu? I got the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT, and the motherboard's manual doesn't tell us too much about...

M8 there is no PCI E 5.0 card on the market so if this is not back compatible with PCI E 4.0 than you can use any card not even the 4090.

The 6th Gen intel CPU's came out in 2015. Don't think you've been running yours for over a decade, unless you have a time machine.
