Ah yes, the big three get their combat units in retail, while the Burion unit gets shoved into Premium despite being the first one we saw in the series. The HG Demi Garrison is an extension of Chuchu's Demi Trainer, with slightly different armor and a lot of added weapons that were not seen in the anime. And judging by that, the Garrison does appeal to both people who prefer the combat deployment units and those looking for a lot of weapons. While the charm of the Demis is not lost on it, there is one issue, it's premium.

I just don't understand bandai, they themselves said the witch from mercury was supposed to bring new people into gundam but then half the gunpla from the show are premium bandai. they just straight up hate money.
Don't forget the whole "anti-scalpers" stuffs that Bandai obsessed back then which makes the whole situation even worse...
I've been wanting a Demi Garrison since it showed up in the first few episodes, and I felt that it'll be an eventuality that it'll get a kit. Because the Demi Trainer is already there, they'll make a kit with the Garrison parts, right?
and we'll, they did. In Premium format.
It's the same businessmen mentality as Activision-Blizzard, Disney, etc.
"If people want this, then they'll be willing to pay no matter the price & hurdles we set for them, right?"
Absolutely no care for demand research. If you're paying them, they want you to pay the highest price they can set for you.
They put on a facade saying how for the consumers they are, while directly employing anti-consumer practices in their marketing. G-Witch really opened my eyes to what goes in PB, and that's whatever kit that's not from the currently airing thing. Why do you think that all kits from the anime proper post-Calibarn are PB? People would've grabbed this thing, the Gundnode, and Lfrith PP en mass to name a few. Also, why do you think that we get a full year of SEED Freedom in retail (besides some reasonable PB releases) and barely anything else? SEED Freedom is the current thing that's hyped up, and Bandai still tried to push Metaverse despite how much of a failure it is in all stretches of the imagination. Meanwhile, they have poll results that were unfulfilled, many kits the consumers will rather have over the monotony of whatever is the current thing. We'd have a massive catalogue of kits had a lot of them not be Premium Bandai. But no, if you want something that's not part of what's currently airing or hot, you gotta pay double the price at least. It's just ridiculous.
It's not about the money, it's about art.
I got to build both the Demi Trainer and Demi Barding, and both were solid kits. The dark grey really does help make this mobile suit look more serious for sure
It's just a visual upgrade for those who think the standard ones are too cartoony. I just hate how it's PB though
I bought this kit from Pbandai and thought it was a blast. I definitely need a few Demi Trainers for the extra weapons though!
I had the same fun as well. I was spoilt for choice with what to equip this thing with during the verdict
I do like the weapons of the Garrison, the colors are also nice.
IKR? The weapons are the best part of this set
I like how in anime, This MS only appears like 30 - 50 seconds but only use a Short or Middle Beam Rifle.
While in Gunpla or model kits, This MS build different a lot by having variant equipment such as Missile Launcher, Quadruple Beam Vulcan, Rocket Bazooka, and Knuckle mode as if this is basically like Gundam Barbatos Lupus who don't even show Variable Mace, Large Railgun, Anti Ship Lance Mace, and New Long Sword in Anime instead in other media.
But unlike the Barbatos' weapons which are nice bonuses, the Demi Garrison feels like it should've had those weapons to begin with and Bandai just locked them behind a Premium paywall because they could
The least appearance are the most expensive one.
I hope that's it was a regular release

The Demi-garrison was a lovely, lovely kit to build. I really wish this was a retail release, but I don’t regret buying and building it!
Me neither. No regrets. I'm just angry for the people who didn't/couldn't get one because of its PB status
@@mj2005gundam for sure. It really felt bad that all of the other houses got their combat variant suits (heindree sturm, Zowort heavy, etc) as retail releases, but the poor Demi-garrison was relegated to p-Bandai.

@@mj2005gundam problem is, I had an idea for a custom Demi, and the Garrison colours, weapons and also leftovers could have save me a lot of time... P-Bandai is not the best at all...
Why does the front "face" section of the helmet remind me of the head of the SUMO from Turn A Gundam?
They do kinda look similar
With the quadruple beam vulcans it reminds me of the the Guntank Early Type
That's what a lot of people said, and I kinda agree
Looking at the manual it has the Overflag color scheme looks, if only the plastics darker colors.
At least it's accurate, unlike 13 of the 30 releases I've got

Another kit I missed from p-bandai that i wanted. Not sure why they made so many WFM kits p-bandai, I'm sure they would of sold.
Because G-Witch is no longer the "current thing" after the HG Calibarn. That was Metaverse, then SEED Freedom, so G-Witch would be shoved into the back.

G-Witch kits tend to be that way, and I mean the entire line
Feels unfair when the Garrison is Pbandai while you can easily get the the Dilanza Sol, Heindree Sturm and Zowort Heavy for less than 2000 yen (depending on seller)

I cant believe they cheaped out and just gave one style of stickers for a P BANDAI kit...
decal stickers for sensors instead of foils, takes me back to the GM sniper 2s awful stickers
Especially when normal metallic stickers would give the sensors more shine.
This will be an army builder but as a P-Bandai kit? That's a bummer..
I know some Japanese bloke would buy dozens of these just to build out an army. I mean, have you seen the guy on Twitter with at least 50 of each HGCE grunt, including the Strike Dagger?
Yep.. I remember that post.. Even for a P-Bandai grunt, he never stops mustering for that..
So sad I overlooked this kit. Thankfully snagging one shouldn't be too difficult. It comes with a lot to mess with either parts wise or weapons wise.
I just hope you won't pay too much for one of these, as it's not worth 35 quid per kit for it.

Almost triple the price of other Demi kits. I’ve seen almost quadruple in my currency. No thanks Bandai, I’m gonna wait for the bootleg version where the price probably gonna be half the price of other Demi.
By itself, it's a great Demi. However, the second-hand price is where it'll get most people

@mj2005gundam i felt that the moment they made the Expansion for the Darilbalde, Pharact, and Michaelis Pbandai while the Demi expansion set, the Tickbalang, and the Mirasoul flight unit are all regular release. Had to buy that shit at twice the price because it was literally the cheapest option i could find.

TBH, a lot of the PB catalogue is exactly that nowadays.
Of course it's a P-Bandai, sigh.
