Arguably the most unique Gundam to come out of G-Witch for its melee fighting style and electrokinesis abilities alone, the Gundam Lfrith Anavata is an intriguing release to say the very least. And while it is literally just the original Lfrith with a pair of swords, the effect parts provided expand the display options and puts its unique capabilities on display. Despite how it suffers from minor remold syndrome, it's still a mighty fun kit to mess around with.

That out-of-the-box blue looks so nice, almost as if it was metallic without being actually metallic-injection (idk, it's weird to describe)
The blue looks nice in a vacuum yes, though I still don't like how it was wrong. Although, something about purplish blues just never gets old

Lfrith based kit never failed to deliver. They all looks so good.
Unfortunately almost half of them are inaccurate in colors, but that's besides the point

The 2023 one is still coming after I get the stragglers reviewed, and I'm on the 4th of the 6 stragglers now. Should be coming in June at the very latest.

It looks good, and has that sense of novelty since not a lot of units have massive turbines on the heels

Yeah, definitely do so. And if you wanna, you can make it channel more elements as part of a custom build like the Exia Dark Matter. We needed more of these in Gundam

We're way too far off from that happening, as we still don't have news of a second 1/100 G-Witch kit over a year after the Aerial (excluding Score 6). But hey, glad you liked it
â @@mj2005gundamyeah unfortunately, Iâm just dreaming. I wonder if MG will return anytime soon to regular schedule. I mean I love Ver.Ka but still regular MG is something that soon 3rd parties will be the only place to go. Mighty Strike Freedom backpack from Daban is one of examples that Bandai should open their eyes and bring back 1/100 to a regular release schedule. The same with Solomon Physalis. A lot of ppl waiting. I own some great 1/144 that should get 1/100 release strictly because of the design. Iâm still hoping that Bandai will do some great 1/100 from the Seed Freedom movie soon.
Lfrith Anavata is the only Gundam with a Gun Bits Swords with the others always have beam weapons.
And that's why I'm sick of it. From the Strike Freedom to the Aerial and Co. It's like a brainless meta that everyone uses in a game and those that don't hate it with a burning passion

Design is not bad and i donât why desginer donât equip 2 shields on both arms ?
Because using a sword with a shield equipped is not efficient.

This Gundam/MS should fight one-on-one or toe-to-toe against another close combat MS which using 2 Swords [like Sword Impulse Gundam, Gundam Exia, etc.]
Only in our imaginations do we enable that to actually happen, until it gets Build-built 5 years from now, maybe
Blue limbs and gray body just feel too clashing for me. The Lfrith variants work best with a main color and a splash of accent.

Feels like Ippei added way too many of his facoritw greebles to rhe Lfrith and his proportions, which have killed the Lfrith's silhouette.
Ur and Thorn are complete rebuilds by comparison, but...i don't know. Just feels weird.
To each their own, and I can understand that some people might have liked it to have kept most of JNTHED's design elements. I just enjoy seeing how designers work around designing something on a foundation that isn't their own
@mj2005gundam I already have issued with Ippei's work as is, so it's a hard sell for me.
(That said his other WFM works are so damn good)
