Yeah. Luna really be getting a lot of love especially with that ‘soft material’ that is mention for her upcoming figure. Bandai is a company of cultured people.
This was the only SEED freedom kit that stuck out to me. The quality of these kits really makes me want to see a full revive line of gundam seed.
It's a great hybrid between the classic Gelgoog and ZAFT's Ginn line. I'm hoping mine arrives soon.
I literally just finished building mine. I absolutely enjoyed this kit, was one of the ones I was VERY looking forward too getting. It'll probably look great in other original Gelgoog colors would look great.
Good kit I just wish it was thicker 😢 my favourite part about UC GELGOOG's is the fact that they're either thick as fk or buff as fk 😅 kinda like the dijeh's

I think the stickers is acceptable, it's easy to paint tho. The wings has so much color on it and it's impossible to recreate using parts while keep the wing looks thin.
If you look at the upcoming EG Launcher strike shoulder part, that yellow bit on the flap...it looks thick as hell...
Hey, here's a cool idea for a custom, adapting the gelgoog vertex's backpack and using it on this kit, instead of the one that comes with it
Honestly even though this isn't that similar to the original UC one, this still really makes me want a revive gelgoog
i wish they would also update the other Seed Destiny kits. (Dom Trooper, Zaku and Gouf Ignited)
I'm curious what it's like to mask and paint this instead of the stickers. Really great kit!
I felt like the Gelgoog Menace reminding me more of the Marasai. It even has the pipes and exhaust port on its face. Then again the Zaku warrior is more similar to Zaku Kai.

Looking at the back without the backpack, should be able to use the different backpacks (wizard packs) from the seed Zakus, but so far I haven't seen anyone try it
I think this model looks cool, but I do wish the head looked more like the original Gelgoog, maybe by covering up the face pipes and making the snout wider? The rest of the body and weapons are translated to the new style so well, maybe there's an in universe reason this was done (haven't seen the movie yet so idk)?
That kit would look awsome as a PG kit....
It's on my list of "to buy" kits, and I think I am going to paint it up in the Anavel Gato colors (I have the figure to use as a reference).
It turns out the Gato colors are the standard colors of this thing in the movie

Do the Wizard packs from the Zaku Warrior/Phantom and Dom Trooper work on this kit? The back looks similar.

Seen nobody point this out, but coming off the MG Zaku 2.0 and Geara Doga. Do the hands feel small to anyone else?
This Ms looks like it belongs in one of the "build"-series of gundam, very much not to my taste aesthetically haha. Ill leave it at that :p

It is not the worst stickers though. I built G-Self before and that is even way more worst. This in comparison is a blessing.
Imagine the thickness of the wing if they separate the part into multiple pieces...I'm sure no one likes thick wings...
And I'm sure everyone will complain about a hg cost 4000 yen for perfect parts separation. Might as well buy a rg for the price....

I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, its a nice kit. On the other, stickers for large parts that are the same color as other molded parts already on the mobile suit....

There is no excuse, other than being cheap, for stickers on such large pieces. I hate how Japanese builders just roll over and accept such greed.
Its sad a series with such bad writing especially after season 1 got model kits but I guess that's the church of Jesus Yamato pushing their agenda.
