    If you already own the BILT card or thinking of owning the card, I've just come up with a way for you to automatically get 1 more BILT transaction each month. Join this channel for .99 cents a month and use your BILT card to make the automatic monthly payments. I've just made your life simpler so supporting this channel just makes sense right? 😂😂
    Watch me on Ben Hedges' channel: th-cam.com/video/vTNftR9yaKM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZeQKcyvYV7U5ry4s. But you must promise to come back and help give my little channel some visibility. We're all about points stacking and getting tons of value out of credit cards.

    I pay rent in NYC. Platinum status achieved in less than 1 year

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's going to be much harder to earn Platinum status this year for next year because of the updates.
      Platinum status is now achieved by either spending $50k in non-rent spend OR earning 200K points in the calendar year. Earning points from rent is limited to 100K points per year so you will still need a good amount of non-rent spend to achieve platinum status.

    First, let me say that I love the content and delivery. Being able to get the deeper analysis on the BILT product is uber valuable in being able to truly unlock this card.
    That being said, the rocket fuel behind this card (BILT Ding) is slowly getting diluted. I'm in the Dallas area, and I've watched several restaurants I enjoy decay from 10x to 8x down to 2 and 3x. It's really unfortunate that BILT is doing this.
    Not to mention, I recently had 1 BILT Dining restaurant simply not report my transaction to BILT at all. I was able to claim the points, but it took a lot of emails and about 10days.
    I love the program, but i wish we could get some stability within it. Keep up the awesome work 👊

      Hi Chatan - I'm pleased that you're enjoying the content.
      It is called the credit card game just for this exact reason. We hack, extract as much value as we can then we move on to the next one and there is always a next one 😂. I'm committed to finding the next one over and over because I love to travel. You can expect me to share whenever
      I find a crack in the system 😂
      Oh, don't sleep on the 4X catch-all hack while it's still a thing.

    My Bilt card destroys my Amex Gold card. I can go to any restaurant and use the Bilt card to get baseline 3x on dining, upwards of 12x with stacking (2x rent day, 2x transfer bonus). I can use it with confidence knowing Mastercard is accepted almost everywhere. Meanwhile, Amex Gold touts its 4x dining multiplier, but I've only had around a 50% acceptance rate at restaurants in my area. Most of the affordable family owned restaurants cannot stomach Amex's high transaction fees.

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm in big cities when in the U.S. so I have 100% acceptance rate for the Gold card. However, BILT is officially my dining card because of the elevated transfer bonuses. It would be insane not to use this card for dining. However, whenever I'm not running my 3 Citi Custom Cash cards for supermarket spend, I use my Gold card so the Gold card continues to hold value for me.

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My experience with Amex is that it is all about monthly spend. If you spend enough with them, my experience is that they really don't care what you do. However, I'm a fan of acquiring the card that you want before cancelling an existing card. It is also my experience that pop-up jail on the personal side is independent of the business side. 3 months ago, I was seeking a 2nd Hilton Aspire which resulted in pop-up jail then I went on to open 2 biz card with them that same week and was eligible to receive biz card bonuses but was still in pop-up jail for the Aspire.
      So I recommend that you get your new card before cancelling if possible. If you're not putting much spend on either personal or biz then don't be surprised if pop-up jail result. However, it quickly goes away once you increase your spend.

      So if you own you home AND you don't live in a BILT Dining city, the card still works.
      You're better off putting large ticket items like education, taxes, insurance etc on the BILT card on the 1st of the month because that will quickly elevate you to Silver status ($10K). All of your non-category catch-all spend @ 2X would then turn into 4X when you transfer out.
