    If you already own the BILT card or thinking of owning the card, I've just come up with a way for you to automatically get 1 more BILT transaction each month. Join this channel for .99 cents a month and use your BILT card to make the automatic monthly payments. I've just made your life simpler so supporting this channel just makes sense right? 😂😂.
    This video and the previous one th-cam.com/video/KODRkX5NBQI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mvOldBL-aPDs1Ypj go together. Between the 2 of them, we have 4X catch-all and 32X dining which results in impressive transfer miles. I'm using the 4X catch-all to earn status and 32X dining to pile on the value.

      @@RSquared-travel-rewards I did my homework, rewatched that video a couple of times to better understand it and came back to discuss. I think you've convinced me that, as structured, this card is pretty much amazing given the every day multiples, ease of reaching silver status, and the bevy of excellent travel partners and transfer bonuses. That said, I'm really early in my journey and feel like I may be better served to go after some other keeper cards that are inquiry sensitive and offer excellent SUBs like the Vx, Premier, etc, and then use the Bilt as my catch all card going forward when I'm over 5/24/gardening/not actively working towards a SUB. My wife and I are starting out in a 2 player system and have the ability to rip through a bunch of SUBs along the way but I think a year from now this might be my daily driver if it's still set up like this. This is insane... i had been using bilt primarily as a rent card until today when i thought to look deeper to see if i was missing out on anything. Thank you so much for sharing this! The maximum rent Day cap as a result of double points is 10K points. That's just rent Day. So that alone would be 120K points for the year. There is no cap on non-rent day BILT Dining earnings.

  • @deliverydoctor
    @deliverydoctor 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Great video. But 10x restaurants are rare; you would have to travel to get to these restaurants. Time is money. And it's hard for most of us to spend $2500 on Bilt restaurants and specifically on Rent Day to maximize on the points.

      Glad you enjoyed it. The previous 6 10x restaurants in my town are now down to 1 within the last 2 weeks. I should not have made the video 😂.
      I still want folks to focus on the overall multiplier no matter how much they spend. Dining at a 3X restaurant on rent day still yields 3X + 6X and it would transfer out as 18X for Silver status which is very, very attainable.

  • @centsorsense
    @centsorsense หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is still an amazing video and the stacking works, but it seems like there was a huge devaluation of 10x and 5x down to 2x in the last few months. In addition, when I load the BILT app to try and book a restaurant for tomorrow, I noticed all the restaurants I usually go to have a disclaimer below the multiplier saying that the terms are changing after 5/27/24. Do you think the in app dining being NERFED in a month?

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't believe that 5/27 is significant. There has always been a timeline for how long the dining multiplier would be guaranteed given that you are able to book a reservation with Open Table for a long period out. BILT has always given windows for the dining multipliers.
      What I have noticed is that once a restaurant lowers its dining multiplier, I haven't seen them rise again. There is one 10X left in Boston when I last checked but I'm away in Africa for 3 months so no BILT Dining videos for a while but I will be utilizing BILT rent Day's 6X without fail.
      My take is that Bilt will continue to partner with restaurants for BILT Dining as it appears to be a core mission of theirs as stated by the CEO.

    Do you think this card makes sense for someone who is a homeowner and who does not live in a city that has Built Dining Rewards restaurants? I am considering adding this card as a no-annual fee replacement for the CSR given the similar (or better on rent-day) multipliers and the travel protections which are important to me. I'm thinking this is a great card for someone who wants the simplicity of a one card set-up. Decent multipliers, transfer partners, no foreign-transaction fee, etc... Thoughts? If you wanted just one card in your wallet, would this be the one?

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm glad that you said it and not me because folks would think that I'm crazy.
      For a non-renter-non-bilt-dining person, this card is still GREAT. Using the card as a 2X catch-all card on rent presents better value than any other 2X catch-all card out day. You already know what a rent day transfer boost would do to the 2X. If you play the game correctly, this should get anyone to Silver status and some to Gold without much effort.
      I'll assume that you mean CSP and not CSR. No one should own the CSP over the BILT card. It can be in addition to because BILT crushes the CSP.
      It is really hard to think of carrying just 1 card. 2 is easy = Citi Premier + BILT.
      I'd have to get back to you on carrying just 1 card 😂😂 - I feel like I'd be lacking too much with just 1.
      I think that I'm going to make a video for "what if you could only have 2 credit cards, what would they be".

    Not to discredit this but I feel like there needs to be a disclaimer that those +10x bonus restaurants are incredibly rare, at least for the closest city to me. Scrolling through the list, almost everything was a +3x bonus with +5x bonuses showing up at about a 20:1 ratio. In about 220 restaurants, only 1 had the +10x bonus so as amazing as all this is, it’s not actually world changing at the moment

    According to the Bilt MasterCard disclaimer, you are limited to only 10k bonus points per month. Q. How do you earn 20k if you are only limited to 10k? Another Q. Let's say you charged for your restaurant bill on the first of the month and the restaurant merchant doesn't process your transaction until the next business day, which is the actual transaction posted date, then you get screwed out of the multiplier bonus essentially? There are many caveats that can potentially ruin your perfect scenarios. If all stars align you may get the bonuses, otherwise not very likely.

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure why you're referencing 20K. The example is $500 for a meal on rent day at a 10X BILT restaurant + 6X due to rent day. That is 16X * $500 = 8K points. When the transfer comes around, which has nothing to do with the 10K pt limit, you can transfer out at 100%, 125% or 150% based on status. You may have misinterpreted the 10K bonus limit. It is NOT 10K per month, it is 10K on rent day for the double multipliers only. BILT Dining is not impacted. It is 10K bonus max on rent day as a result of the 6X, 4X and 2X multipliers.
      The key to BILT's rent day, is that a rent day purchase has nothing to do with when a purchase is posted. Instead, it is based on when the charge is first run (or pre-authorized) else BILT's rent day of double points on rent day would come under attack from day one. Let's put it this way, you're allowed to leave the restaurant because your card wasn't declined, which means that the pre-authorization was successful and that's what's used for rent day.
      I've been using BILT rent day for over a year and all purchases changed to my card have all be doubled as outlined by BILT.
      Hopefully this clears it all up. So no stars need to align. It just works.

    Ummm... I don't think your "percent" math is correct. As in... 1,000 BILT points x 125% (ie. multiply 1000 x 1.25) would be 1250 Sky Miles, not 2250. *Math..?* IJS.

      It's tricky. It's a 125% transfer boost. Meaning you transfer 1000 points and they boost it 125% by adding an additional 1250. You would therefore end up with 2250 miles. Trust me, I've been transferring points to Emirates.

      Thank you for the feedback. Clearly my approach doesn't work for you. I want to thank you anyway for taking time to watch the videos. Take care.
