    If you already own the BILT card or thinking of owning the card, I've just come up with a way for you to automatically get 1 more BILT transaction each month. Join this channel for .99 cents a month and use your BILT card to make the automatic monthly payments. I've just made your life simpler so supporting this channel just makes sense right? 😂😂
    If you're still framing the BILT card as just a rent card, you're missing the boat. I urge you to think Travel, Dining and a beautiful catch-all card as outlined in this video. What are you waiting for? If you got value from the video, please consider using my referral link: cards.bumacompany.com/bilt to help give this channel some visibility.

    Didn’t really consider statuses etc, talking to Call me Lani yesterday, you could quite literally just use the Bilt card for everything, transfer the points to United, and then United miles can pay for all flights + hotels to be totally covered in all aspects of travel.
    Albeit, if you don’t plan to hit welcome offers often of course haha.
    Great video Richard, subscribed!!

      Thanks for stopping by Anthony. I appreciate the sub. I've been watching you and others for a while now.
      I have another video coming out so I don't want to give it all away just yet. However, I wouldn't recommend using the BILT card for let's say Supermarket spend given that there are better options available.
      The best you'd do with supermarkets using the BILT card is 2X on rent day and that would translate at to 4X with Silver status when you transfer to partners. I'm already earning 5X on supermarket spend using my 3 Citi Custom Cash cards and I can shop anytime and not limited to rent day. So yes the BILT card is awesome but not for all use-cases.
      Feel free to check out my Custom Cash video: th-cam.com/video/-uk1Mpr3UcE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Yvx506oCtreCo6Ia

    You "walk the walk" and have high quality videos. I'm considering the Bilt card, even though I am a homeowner and do not trust Wells Fargo. I open a new credit card every month (alternating between business and personal), so I might get it in April.

      Hey DC. You HAVE to get the BILT card when it fits your schedule. No joke. The card is fire. If these transfer bonuses continue and I expect that they will, this is the most valuable card on the market. That's not hyperbole. I have one more video on the topic coming soon.

    I've literally been waiting for a content creator to make a video about this "hack". The biggest issue with this strategy is that the Rent Day transfer bonuses could occur to partners that are less than ideal. In addition, the uncertainty is also a factor - meaning, Wells Fargo could change this at any given time...potentially devaluing this entire "hack". Otherwise, if you're ok with the uncertainty and you're highly flexible, this could certainly work. I'm treating it like a supplementary strategy (not putting too many eggs in this basket). Awesome video tho!!!

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All valid. That's the risk but I'm betting that this will continue sporadically throughout the year. Why? BILT needs to incentivize folks to put spend on the card.
      Thanks for watching. I have a part 2 dropping shortly. I'll ping you for your take.

    Is there a spending cap on Rent Day or multiplier spend? It seems like this could be exploited if it wasn’t capped.

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Doubling points on Rent Day via multiplier spend is capped at 10K bonus points for the month. They don't want to go out of business on rent day. 😂😂 However, I'm not aware of any cap on how many of your points you may transfer out to travel partners using the rent day bonus transfers.
      The other cap I'm aware of is that you can earn a max of 100K points in rents payments for the year.
      Great observation!!

    Hey just curious if you could respond or recommend what I should do next… I currently have the chase freedom, flex, unlimited the Amex gold and bilt Mastercard. All 4 of those cards I got recently with the freedom being an old card… what might be my next or last 2 cards to consider. My opinion was the autograph for gas but that’s changed after learning about the city custom cash. Which basically out does the autograph since I have the chase cards. Then lastly I would need a travel partner transfer card for the chase/amex in future. Any help would be great! Or private help just respond and let me know thx! Cannot wait to setup my bilt and take advantage of bonuses

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I'm assuming that you have the old school plain Freedom card and since then you've also acquired the Flex, Unlimited, BILT and Gold totaling 5 cards but the last 4 are recent acquisitions.
      Considerations:
      #1 - Chase Sapphire Preferred ($95 AF) - this will unlock your Chase points. It's a mid-tier travel card which will allow you transfer your Chase points out to partners or redeem within the portal at a 1.25 rate (a bit of points savings).
      #2 - If the Citi Custom Cash interests you, then I think that's wise. I own 3 of them. However, you'll have to hold onto the Citi points and let them grow for a while and then add #3 - the Citi Premier ($95 AF) in the future that will let you transfer out your Citi points. The Citi Premier is also a very versatile earner and travel card.
      BILT is a travel card with access to travel partners already.
      Amex Gold is also a travel card with access to partners as well.
      That represents a great setup that you can run with for a while. When you're eventually ready for premium travel perks, you'd be able to product change the Chase Sapphire Preferred into a Sapphire Reserve ($550 AF). Good luck on your credit card journey.

    are all other lenders so stingy (compared to BILT) or BILT's model is not sustainable in the long run?.. and we are to slowly see these great hacks disappear? (right after BILT is sold perhaps)

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you're the young upstart, you have to differentiate yourself to get attention. It's only sustainable if credit card adoption continues to grow for them and I believe that it will. Chase and amex don't need to change much at the moment because they are far cats. Look at CP1, they too are innovating for growth.
      I can't say enough good things about bilt's innovation.

    • @Litmanovich
      @Litmanovich หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t understand the benefit of this card if you can use their application and earn points without the BILT card. Too much overlap with other travel cards, inconvenience of having to make 5 transactions, missing out on other cards and SUBs and losing a slot in 5/24. Only good thing is rent pay points but not sure it can outweigh the “cos” listed above.

    • @RSquared-travel-rewards
      @RSquared-travel-rewards  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Litmanovich maybe you don't see the value for yourself but surely you must see that there is value for others. you're too close to the credit card scene. Most folks neither know or care about Chase's 5/24. This card is a super power card for folks living in big cities especially if they pay rent. The average person will not use a credit card to pay rent because of fees but they will use the Bilt card. I've racked up a large volume of BILT points by timing large catch-all spend on the Bilt card. So dining and large catch all spend is parked with Bilt. I will await an elevated transfer boost and double my points associated with spend I was going to make anyway.
      Last year I gained an extra 97K points on transfer. This year I expect to gain close to 150K points on bonus transfer. So the same card is giving me 100K+ bonuses each year. I already have 25 cards so I also get plenty of SUBs.
      Maybe it doesn't work for your situation but it clearly works for me.

    • @Litmanovich
      @Litmanovich หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RSquared-travel-rewards i dont mean to be / sound argumentative.
      here is the botom line (and knowing you can add other cards to the BILT app / program to stack up points):
      would you have earned the points you mentioned above withOUT the BILT card? My understanding is that you still Would. That is why, while it is a good card, a person may be missing out because of 5/24 and because of no SUB and because of not getting a SUB from another lender "too many current inquaries".
      Once again, just having a conversation here and I do have an open mind if you think i am missing something.
