Very fascinating and interesting to hear Calum share his mindset, thoughts and experiences with RedBull and especially Max. It shows that what Max and the team are achieving is absolute magic. They don't get the praise and respect they should (dominant, bla bla, bkring, bla bla). I reckon we should all appreciate what they are achieving and that we're witnessing history here. O think this man's a pleasure to be around, gives great energy and sure would like to have a couple of beers with him. Great job and keep it up!
Well said, I think people forget that they didn't flip a coin and get a fast car. In some ways they took a big gamble. They made a car with the best research they could come up with. It still needs to all work together. The drivers still need to drive it, Pit crew still needs to service it. The list goes on. And they all view each others as equals as well. I like how RB is always quick to point out "the people back at the factory". They put in countless hours keeping them in the front. Hopefully Checo can keep it together so RB can get the one two this year. If they don't get it this year they might never get it lol
What absolutely amazes me is that the winning mentality goes down to every person in the team. You hear Christian Horner say it week in week out by to hear it from the actual people on the ground is sobering I absolutely love it

Seen this man race after race being pumped and giving it all, never seen an interview with him before. So good to hear the perspective of one of the team members you only see but hardly ever get to hear. Great interview with this multiple World Champion (because let us not forget that if you are part of a team that becomes World Champion, you are a World Champion yourself as well) Thank you Callum, may you win many more with the team.

I’ll never understand why Brit F1 fans seem to vilify Redbull, a very British team, (especially with awesome people like Calum) yet treat a German car manufacturer team operating out of England with such reverence. Is it really just because of the Brit drivers?
This is a tired old rhetoric of anti-British that's just never gonna go away. British bias does exist, but it's overblown by the outnumbered nationalities from the rest of the world constantly crying online as soon as a British person says anything positive about another British person. I'll try to explain. This "German manufacturer" has so much in common with Germany that 1/3 of the shares belong to Daimler (currently called Mercedes-Benz Group AG). Another 1/3 belongs to the British INEOS. And the remaining 1/3 belongs to Toto Wolf. So that's it in terms of who own the team. The current Mercedes comes from Brawn, which comes from Honda, which comes from British American Racing (BAR), which comes from Tyrrell. All thouse except for Tyrrell operates/ed in Brackley UK.

Great interview with someone you see a lot during a Grand Prix, but not after. Bloody shame Red Bull has stopped making Behind the Charge. Had some things you normally would not see.
This was a fantastic podcast! I obviously like hearing from big shots like Newey, Zak Brown, Toto, etc... but please continue to bring mid and lower level F1 people! I love the sport and I think it's great to hear the voices of the people that turn smaller wheels. Their experiences, their story to F1, etc... :D Great job, Mr. Nicholas!

I like how Calum is able to look at the big picture. Like he knows the team and him and really bring it. He hasn't been around F1 as long as a lot of others, in terms of engineers and directors and such, but he has the outlook of "every single one of us matters". He knows the guy making a bolt, or him turning a spanning, even the guy in food services, it all matters. And he does a good job of knowing that all that rides on the shoulders of Max and Checo. I've been an F1 aficionado since the 1970's. For most of this season, I have been thinking about the magic we're witnessing. The entire Red Bull team is functioning at a very high level. There are several ways to argue that this performance is unequaled in F1 history. There's also an argument that second place in this category would go to Red Bull back in the Vettel era This isn't just about Max It's comprehensive. It's sad that many Hammy fans are too bitter to appreciate what's taking place here, because this is a remarkable year for a remarkable team. Great interview of an impressive man. Thank you!
The guy has been in the game for quite a while now on merit. Deserves being a rolemodel for young guys aspiring to become an f1-mechanic. Calum knows that his skincolour and rastas are part (if not all the reason why he gets invited) but he handles it perfectly and makes sure that he talks about the team as a bunch of hardworking mates. Good job, Calum👍. You're alright mate.
Wow! Great guy. Of course I have seen him working but never heard him talking. He is 110% positive energy. (probably even more). BTW can we also have an interview with Hannah? I believe she has some great stories to tell about strategy.

Many people whining and moaning about how F1 is becoming so boring because of RB dominance. I'm not a RB or MV bobo, but I enjoy watching perfection unfolding in front of me. RB will win the title maybe 2 more years, then someone else will take over for a period. That's the nature of modern F1 with the cars being so reliable.
I'm a McLaren fan and I do not fault RedBull's dominance. We did it in late 80s, Williams did it in early 90s, Ferrari did with with Schumi, RedBull did it with Seb, Mercedes with Lewis, now is RedBull again. These periods have always been part of F1. Even in other sports you see the same thing. How many years was Usain Bolt undefeated?
"When did you know the car was REALLY fast?" He didn't say it, but i was there at Bahrain Pre-season testing and it was OBVIOUS from lap 1 that the RB19 was going to be a rocketship. 🚀 Sitting with various members of the team in the paddock you could tell they were PUMPED, and watching Callum and all the others work on the car, its like watching Ballet... They dont touch/bump each other working 5 guys side by side in tight areas of the car. Nobody ever scratches their head or their ass, npbody ever asks "whats next boss?". To watch them work was my lifes reward.
What a thoroughly impressive guy Callum is!
Huge respect to him

This isn't just about Max It's comprehensive. It's sad that many Hammy fans are too bitter to appreciate what's taking place here, because this is a remarkable year for a remarkable team.
Great interview of an impressive man. Thank you!
Best interview ever! What an impressive person!
You are big part of the growth of F1, Callum!
Great content, more of this please, thanks to Calum for his insight.
Love this interview! Lovely guy and an interesting peek into the work that goes into an F1 weekend.
What a great interview! Well done all!
What a lovely chap. Thank you for interviewing one of the pit crew guys.
This guy is so interesting and likeable, great episode and I hope we see more of him talking in the future!
Very good role model as a mechanic in F1. Glad to meet him last year at my home race.
Great interview! Calum is awesome! Thank you!
I like this guy the best on the team.. Calum is competitive and you see it during the races.. he'll go far in this industry!
A reel champion talking . Congrats Calum with your share of this brilliant championship.
Top podcast. Hats off to Calum.
Wow! Great guy. Of course I have seen him working but never heard him talking. He is 110% positive energy. (probably even more). BTW can we also have an interview with Hannah? I believe she has some great stories to tell about strategy.
Calum is a high energy, very articulate and just allround intelligent guy.
What a great personality. Hats off! 👍
I think I have just become a Calum Nicholas fan! Great interview and insight into the behind the scenes of a great team and sport. Sending you the utmost of respect and thank you for taking the time to share you points of view and experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You see this guy on the races more than some of the "key players!" Great to her from him! Go Max!!
Great to get the story of one of the guys what it is to work in such competative enviroment. Super!!
I'm a simple man. I see Calum, I like.
Love to see his reactions and intensity❤
"When did you know the car was REALLY fast?"
He didn't say it, but i was there at Bahrain Pre-season testing and it was OBVIOUS from lap 1 that the RB19 was going to be a rocketship.
