After watching the podcasts with Callum on them speaking about what he does I have decided i want to a F1 Mechanic/Technician in the future. I've always wanted to work in F1 whether it would be an Engineer or Technician but I can fully say I definitely want to be a Race Mechanic one day Hopefully. Funny enough I applied at the National College For Motorsport back in May and since then I have been accepted and this September I will be studying at the college. IM STOKED. Big thanks to you guys and Callum for doing this Pod because everytime I hear him talk about what he does in F1 I just keeps giving me to motivation to one day achieve my dream. Yall the best.
This is the main reason we love to amplify the amazing stories of the people in the paddock. We are rooting for you! Good luck and let us know how is goes :)
I love living on the east coast and having F1 races in the morning. Hell yes. Also, Calum is awesome. Really glad he is still around and really representing the best of not only Red Bull Racing but F1 in general
man calum is so down to earth and just great listening to, I loved his appearance @ pitstop aswell and also subscribed to Track limits good luck guys! 😄
These questions were really good and personal...like how you guys didn't get distracted to talk about Verstappen/Perez etc etc. Like how organic the conversation was! Subbed!
Excellent interview guys, and great format with the Q1, Q2 and Q3 sessions, very original. Really enjoyed this one. I'm not sure if Calum was involved but it's a pity that no one asked him about the grid repair in Hungary 2020 when Max crashed on his way to the grid. I would loved to have heard how that felt from a mechanic's point of view.
As a black dude that's also a life long racing fanatic, Calum obviously stood out to me being one of the few black people you see involved and I always wondered what was his story, so I quite enjoyed this interview. What an awesome guy. Thanks
Loved his thoughts on racial representation in F1. I didn’t realize that along with other things, geography was also barrier for minorities to get into motorsport.
What the hell , such a good interview and you have to bring race into it!! I’m white and I will never race play professional golf or soccer or basketball, such is life
I get the geographical barrier. But that didn't keep Calumn from persueing a job in motorsport. I would say it's s mather of priorities. If you truly have ambitions to participate in the sport geography shouldn't mather. Look how many drivers move to Europe.
I was thoroughly enjoying this until you brought up the 'B' word. Being black has never stopped him or you from doing what you wanted to do. You're both walking examples of that.
How can anyone hate Calum, such genuine dude 👏
100% agree!
Uhm i saw some Hamilton fans on twitter hating on him, but yes you are right.
What? Why they hate him?
@@patrickv789because he is working for Redbull. And his fans don’t like a black man working for Redbull
@@jaimyvandevelde1034what a ridiculous comment.

Amazing! Get after it :)
Good stuff bro! Believe in yourself, dreams without goals are just dreams. Make it your reality. Believe it, live it, get it!

Let’s go, man. Good you have vocalized your desire. Mandatory prequel to manifesting it.
I will stop and watch Calum interviews EVERY TIME! Amazing man!
He is really humble guy.. he is hard working man, God bless him. ❤
One of the nicest people you will meet in the paddock!

Couldn't agree more!
We are also in the east coast and watch the races in the morning haha
@@tracklimitspod a cup(5 cups) of coffee, some bacon, eggs and pancakes and lights out 🤌
Down to earthh guy who really worked his way up.
One of my favourite episodes to film. Calum was a gem!
The mechanics are heavily underrated
With put them max would not win he always goes to max when he wins I always thought he was French till I heard him talk
What a great interview. Callum is one of the most interesting guys in F1 to listen to. Love it.
One of my favourites in the sport. Hearing your story, and then meeting you in person has been a true highlight 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Legend!

Whenever you think about RB garage, you always picture this guy
one of my favourite people in motorsport

Its the only engineer i see every week
Gotta love a bit of Calum Nicholas
Great to see him talk about Lewis Hamilton ☺️

No worries. Our main goal is to highlight the stories of awesome individuals in motorsport.

what a very enjoyable podcast conversation this is!!! you've got a new subscriber now! greets from Amsterdam
Hello! :)
Great episode in every aspect!
That was a best answer to the superhero question.
Haha straight shooter.
I always see this guy every race istg 😭
The season they are having in 2023 is epic 🎉
I swear he’s the only one you see on drive to survive
Loved his thoughts on racial representation in F1. I didn’t realize that along with other things, geography was also barrier for minorities to get into motorsport.
Calum is the main character in DTS
I get annoyed by people hating on him because of the cost cap scandal, he is just one person who is part of an awesome team of engineers at Red Bull 🤲
What the hell , such a good interview and you have to bring race into it!! I’m white and I will never race play professional golf or soccer or basketball, such is life
What a great episode! Learned a lot about Calum
Thank you! We also learned a lot too.
CALUM 🎉🎉🎉
It would have been nice to hear some cool stories they have in the pit or garage hahaha
Great feedback :)
Thank you for the feedback. We will make sure to ask him those questions in season 2 ;)
2021 was an incredible year for red bull. So sad the regulations changed right when teams caught up to Mercedes 😔
When are we going to see them beat there own record of 1.82 seconds 🤔
Maybe this year? What do you think!
Definitely a goal they have for the whole team!
Looks like we just saw it :)
Why didn't you guys ask him about his relationship with Max and the drama they have from the other side of the garage?
when he said South Africa
I just had to look up his name, but the most recognizable technician is Chris Gent. That guy might be behind only Max for air time this season

This would be a amazing podcast but that blokes voice on the far right just annoys me
Why?

STOP bringing-up diversity in every interview, it irritates me enormously. We are all equal & all lives matter, period.
you lost me at the diversity woke crap
