Hi friend, this is the second video of yours that I am watching today. Thanks for this very instructive tutorial. You have a gift for teaching newbies; every word you utter is filled with knowledge. The dear Lord greatly increase his favour, grace and blessings upon you, your family and your finances. You have been a blessing to me and, I understand from the many comments, to many.

@@takebetterphotos8132 The way you teach is very important to me, a 72-year old. I have been busy composing Christian songs and making videos to post to TH-cam. I have been given the grace to learn video editing in FCPX and even editing audio in GarageBand, but have not gone in to the matter of image editing. I find myself using a decent number of photos also in my video creations and have started doing basic corrections in Photos app. Without understanding the ABC of colour correction, I have been just playing around with the various colour correction settings in Photos app and am trying to improve the looks of the images I use for my videos. But, I am aware of my darkness in the understanding of the colour correction process which is also required for videos. I also knew that Photos app was only for basic image editing and has its limitations: whenever I had to use a low resolution image suitable for my videos, I found it upsetting that Photos app could not enhance its resolution per se. I had to rely upon online image enhancing editors for getting the job done. Watching news reports of Pixelmator Pro being taken over by Apple made me attracted towards this app that I recently purchased, but, do not know how to use properly!
I trust that by watching your various tutorials will help me know the ABC of image editing. I hope you would go on making content for Pixelmator keeping the needs of newbies such as me in view. I understand that you are already doing so, but, this field is very vast and Apple is continuously adding newer features to this app.
Signing off lest you go to sleep with this long reply.

Thank you sir for the detailed reply. I apologize for not replying sooner as I was under the weather. However I will be always focused on Pixelmator Pro whenever they have some new features. 😊 Have a good day!

@@takebetterphotos8132 If you would ever be able to do a tutorial on a portrait with adjustments that would be much appreciated. I find that I hit a point where I do so many adjustments that they affect one another. E.g. I brighten and sharpen eyes, saturate cheeks and mouth for pinks, paiint on a bit of highlights, desaturate teeth, play with texture and clarity for skin, do skin and clothing repair, and then also adjust the curves for the whole image, and then mask the subject for curves adjustments too. All this seems to not work together, or I have just not cracked the correct order for doing all these adjustments without them affecting one another. If you have any insights that would be much appreciated - thank you!
