I would have put Prim’s death as the saddest because the whole reason why Katniss volunteered to be in the Hunger Games is because she didn’t want Prim to die and at the end of the series Prim still ends up dying.

what about cato? he was ripped apart slowly and excruciatingly painfully and it took like 10 hours for him just for katniss to put him out of his misery. he wasted his life and just learnt the truth too late. he lost clove (his possible love of his life) and left everyone he loved, just for them to die and him left by himself to be killed by 2 district 12 tributes, letting down his district. he failed his entire life in his eyes, he deserved better. he was hypnotized, just as much of a victim as the other tributes
I feel like the other characters with no backstory should also get more respect tho (like district 6 tributes and district 4 and 3) because they were just small children who did nothing but they got brutally murdered and nobody was ever rooting for them nor did many people even care they were just extras😅

Cinna was beaten, then they took him and he died after toruteres in capitol, so we didn't saw his death. Tresh in the book was killed by Cato, and we saw only got to see his face on the sky, and in movies we heard him scream, canon, and then his face was displayed in the sky
Nah man prim is first for sure Katniss literally risked her life for prim and she just died anyway. It wasn’t only the scene that was sad, it was the aftermath and watching poor Katniss go through it and when she told buttercup and stuff When Peeta planted primroses😭✋ no cuz stop that was actually too sweet👏👏😭😭

prim and finick need to swap imo. finick's was sad definitely but prims made my cry twice, both when I read the books and when I knew it was coming in the film. The filmmakers did such an amazing job on that
