- So Jax has come back to the future and finds out that he grows old to become the villain the thing he was fighting. I guess green goblin was right, any ways your jax brings him back to the right track but it involves a little bit of fighting.

That line really hit home. With all the things that future Jack's is going through really clouded his thinking. I get that he was trying to do good for Jackie but kronika used his desperation to her advantage just as everyone else that she enlisted. I felt that his younger self was there to remind him of what he truly stands for.

Yes, The elder Jackson Briggs was an unwitting pawn in Kronika’s plans. She is manipulative and deceptive exactly like her son Shinnok before her, both make false promises, both spew lies. We know that Kronika’s true plan when she erases and recreates the Timeline is to resurrect Shinnok and restore the Balance between Light And Darkness, putting the realms in endless wars.

@@Arkhamman2023 Ikr? Sure, Sonya and sometimes Jax have some bad voice acting here and there, but Scorpion. Sub-Zero. Raiden. Liu Kang. Etc. They have great voice acting.

@@lancealot4001 you have to remember Future Jax was an emotional wreck after his wife died. Plus the PTSD from being a revernant, plus reverting to alcohol. And Kronika finding him in desperation. He too many things going in his head, to really put up a good fight.

@@izzygolden4319 Future Jax is far from weak, he's just damaged. Yeah it sucks he's the only one suffering. It's probably because the developers thought he's the only one. Who thinks he had to carry the world on his shoulders, and failed.

I like how centrion really did not want to fight and even warned Jacque against wearing the crown. She stayed true to virtue and didn’t betray it(besides kronika but she thought she was doing right)
But near the end conflict arose within her heart because she knew deep down it was wrong. That is why she couldn't defeat Liu kang

But what he didn't know is that Kronika's plan would basically remove Jacqui from history (This Jax is unknowingly leading his daughter to her death)... So I kinda felt conflicted by this line.
Present Jax wants to effectively erase and remake his daughter in a more ideal image. He is working to take her life out of her hands to make himself feel better. He all but says she should be at home making babies. Honestly, they fucked him up since MKX.

Jaxx's character was so well written in this game. Even better than in the MKX and in that he was already a badass.

Jax is the best character in the game. He lost his arms, but he got back up and fought to his end. I wish I was that strong, as a kid playing football in minors, I hated it and always cried every time I was hit hard. But as I got grew, I grew stronger and better. Fight till you can't no more, even if you body tells you to stop, don't.

I really gotta give props for the story mode and character depth in this one! Jax...you may have made some mistakes and a LOT OF HORRIBLE SHIT was done to you! Jackie isn't one of those mistakes! I actually cried when I saw her ending!

Jacqui was Vixen, Kitana was Starfire, Liu was Atom, Shao Kahn was Atrocitus, Raiden was the Joker. Such a good line up of voice actors well they could’ve kept in Sonya from MKX and all will be all right.

The ultimate sad part about this scenario, Future Jax is trying to give Jackie a better life by restarting the timeline, but in Jackie's arcade mode she erases herself from the timeline in order for her father to have a better life

I just met one of the developers and he was super nice, he said he was so happy that I loved the game!!!
I hope in the next game, they will give Jacqui a bigger role and boost in power, because she's a great character.

She might not exist as well as soon as the reboot continues....if jax didn't become a revenant...
If you listen to the two lines of "Never thought I stood so low" and "You don't know how bad it gets".
Those two lines synchronise with the background music so perfectly and I love it.

I feel bad for elder Jax; suffering from the things he’d done. He just want to rewrite his past in order to live a happy life with his family. Even though Kronika has other intentions, and lied to him, I can understand his pain.

Charlie Ace you know this game’s story is about restarting history, right? The endgame is Liu Kang being the one to hold the hourglass’ power and start a new timeline. Characters like Scorpion and Sonya can come back, and their past selves are still alive regardless.
