This has to be the most beautiful beach epoxy pour I've seen yet. I love doing these pours and I've learned new lessons today. Thank you for sharing. Just beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you love it and learned from it. They take practice and even then, they can give you issues, but the end results are worth it.
@@ArtisanDesignConcepts They actually look like a beach I have seen, so many have a heavy line at the shore and seem really constructed, I was a beach baby during my childhood, and I have struggled with what I have seen to date. Thank you again, my brain is finally unmuddled. Have a safe and fabulous xmas.
TU on the video and absolutely beautiful! A few years ago I bought a heat gun to repair my paddle boat leak. Was wondering why there were different attachments ...
Thank you! I switched resin recently and need to see if the newest version will make the cells on the waves. I'll be testing that soon. But for the beach I would use PolyKote Enhanced which isn't epoxy. It's a hybrid resin that will not yellow. I'll report back on the waves. Here's the website to order: www.savagepatriotpolymers.com
Thank you so much! We used a matte urethane topcoat. Different brand than what we use now. We now recommend SP Elite Hybrid Topcoat from Savage Patriot Polymers. www.savagepatriotpolymers.com
Im building a bar in my basement and want to create the beach counter effect. I'm wondering if using the Poly Kote would work. More specifically could you still make the waves with Poly Kote? Thank you. I hope my project comes out as beautiful
I haven't had time to work with the waves yet. I tried it with some original testing and wasn't happy with it but the product has since changed. I'm thinking the best bet would be to use the PolyKote Pro and the Savage Patriot Brilliant White tint. I'll try it soon.
Gorgeous!!❤ Your customers chose the right gal for the job. Wow! Maybe I missed it, but what white pigment paste do you use? I'm struggling with getting foam that amazing. Great video👍
You definitely could use sand but you would have to use a lot more more product on top of it to smooth it out. I just use epoxy paste/pigments and spray paint on mostly beaches. This one was a little bit different because they wanted a gray sand beach so I primed that area with the color gray that I wanted and I use the granite effect spray paint to create the speckles like you would see in sand. I lightly sanded that to knockdown the high spots before continuing on. It's only clear over that section.
It's about the weight or thickness of the material. So when you wait that 15 minutes, it thickens up a bit and then holds the celling when you push it over the clear. Otherwise it will flow and try and self level and you'll lose your cells. That's also why I use Diamond Cote by Just Resin for waves...it sets up faster and is thicker so I don't need to wait as long.
So when you are doing layer of days over a period of a few days are you sanding the expoxy prior? I attempted doing waves i have watched numerous videos, still failed at them...going to reattempt tomorrow but just curious about sanding as i assume that is a yes but from video it doesn't lookwl sanded so now i am curious lol...and hiw long do you wait for one wave to set orior to starting anither wave in same session
Yes, I do sand with 220 every time before I start the next layer. It also allows me to sand down the highs and lows and make it a little bit more level before starting another layer.
I use Just Resin’s Diamond Coat for the waves only. Put the clear down and let it set up about 10 minutes while the white set up in the cup. Then do your waves.
If you miss steps and you say "I did not turn the record on" then you are not effective with your presentation, it is useless, you are doing this few times in the video and again it is useless to watch because you don't show important steps. I have to go to another video because yours is skipping steps. NOT GOOD
Thanks for watching. I encourage you to ask questions in the comments if there was something unclear or that you feel was missed. We do our best to capture every moment.

Wow, thank you! Appreciate that!
You did a great job on this project and video!!! GOOD WORK! U Got This, great teaching - Mitch
Thanks Mitch!! If I could only remember to hit record on all the layers! Lol 🤦🏻♀️

I don't use many of the other attachments but for waves they come in handy!
Great video and terrific tutorial!
Thank you!
Holy F its a beach on your counter. That looks great!
Thank you!! Definitely one of my specialties.
Nice ocean waves 🌊….
Thanks very much.
Very nice. Wonder how it looks a few feet back.
The whole place was under construction and there was plastic sheeting all around us so I couldn't stand any further back. But it looked awesome!
Absolutely beautiful!!
Thank you so much
Awesome video! I’ve been wondering if people did multilayer countertops.
Thank you! Yes I’ve found that at least for beach designs, that it’s needed. You can do multiple layers for any design really.
Me encanto.
Thank you so much!
This is amazing - Just WOWOZA
Thank you so much! Glad you loved it.
Beautiful!! 😍 I love it!! How did you do the backsplash?
Thank you so much! Backsplash was done very similar to how I blend the colors in the water portion. All blending done with my gloved hand.
Great work. What spray paint did you use for fogging? thank you
I use several for the water such as Lagoon, Metallic Cobalt Blue and Seaside.
Hi pls what type of resin do you use? And what's the working time? Great job

Love your page inspired to start my own small epoxy biz! What do you use for the initial blues and white? Spray paint?
Thank you!! Do you mean to paint the base with? Or in the epoxy?
Really loved how this came out. Quick question though. How did you get the satin finish at the end. Cause I really like that
Thank you so much! We used a matte urethane topcoat. Different brand than what we use now. We now recommend SP Elite Hybrid Topcoat from Savage Patriot Polymers. www.savagepatriotpolymers.com
Just stunning!! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Thank you!
Looks very nice. About how much was the cost for the epoxy and paints ?
Thank you. I’m not sure off the top of my head but we use Stonecoat epoxy and most colors are ones carried by Artist Till Death or RK3 Designs.
What is the white younused if you happen to remember. Thx 😊
For the waves I use Colour Obsession Snow White

What did you use for the sand effect? Could you just add sand to clear epoxy?
You definitely could use sand but you would have to use a lot more more product on top of it to smooth it out. I just use epoxy paste/pigments and spray paint on mostly beaches. This one was a little bit different because they wanted a gray sand beach so I primed that area with the color gray that I wanted and I use the granite effect spray paint to create the speckles like you would see in sand. Hi.do you use table top epoxy or art epoxy for creating waves?
Actually I use Diamond Cote from Just Resin for the waves but I'm soon going to try it with a polyaspartic as well.
Do you sand between coats?
Yes with 220 grit. I always want to ensure that there will be a good mechanical bond and be able to sand out any dust or imperfections
When trying to form cells, why does leaving the mixed epoxy 15-20 minutes in the cup prior to pouring the wave help? How does this work?
It's about the weight or thickness of the material. So when you wait that 15 minutes, it thickens up a bit and then holds the celling when you push it over the clear. Otherwise it will flow and try and self level and you'll lose your cells. 4:27 That's the first time in over 40 videos that someone explained how to AVOID celling.
Yeah sometimes you want cells and other times not so much.
What epoxy did you use on your waves and what white did you use? I just can’t simply get the small little lacy ones…so frustrating!!
I use Just Resin’s Diamond Coat for the waves only. Put the clear down and let it set up about 10 minutes while the white set up in the cup. Then do your waves.
Omg I am so doing this
Awesome!!! Definitely message us on FB or IG to show us your final results!
The countertop is a masterpiece! I think the backsplash takes away from it though.
Thank you. We deliver what the customer requests. Looks so good overlooking the ocean in Long Beach.
Wow……
Thank you!!
So where is the sunset backsplash ?????
It's in the final reveal. I didn't record that as part of the tutorial.
