Could you do a video on how you build your boards and prep them. I love the way they have turned out a d I’m still learning to make them myself. The k you Rasko.
Hi, excellent piece and video. Just a question, when you're adding the white resin at 5.03m, have you left the resin after mixing to thicken before using? I'm finding that my resin is too fluid so just moves as a blob rather than separating into strands (likes yours does) when applying the heat gun. Would welcome any advice. Many thanks. David
It is about trial and error numerous times to get your prefered brand of resin act as you wish. I use brand “Art Resin” which is not too fluid, just as I like it. If yours is too fluid, experiment with waiting a bit before pouring it down. It is hard to put in words, just try and never give up 💪
This is really nice. I have a few questions for you. If I go with your multi-layer for a tabletop do I need to build a frame around to fill evenly resin where you have the wave foam on the sand. Currently shown that sand has a low point than the wave. Secondly, I notice you have a lot of action (waves) in deep water (deep blue area).
I didn’t think you could use acrylic paint with epoxy?? I’ve been doing my bathroom vanities, but I just love this. I live inFlorida, so this would be perfect. Very beautiful. TFS
hey amazing work . I had a question. if you can pls help me understand. for the waves , i usually do we need to wait for the clear layer and white resin to thicken for 15-20 mins ? and then begin with the heat gun ??
Hi, I'm completely in love with your work. It's perfect. I have a question, is this resin high viscosity? I'm from Brazil and I use low viscosity but the waiting time is too long.. anyway, your work is amazing, congratulations
Lovely work! Quick question if I may. I'm making a similar project but my project does not have a frame; it is solid epoxy (with a couple of strips of wood inside). I'm at a loss about how to hang it. I'll have to attach something directly to the back side. Screws? Nails? Any ideas? Thanks
You may have to find a couple spots on the back to drill a couple holes in that will fit over screws in the wall. (Of course that may not be an option if the entire piece is translucent)
I’m so sorry for late reply. I simply overlooked your comment 😳 You need to drill directly into epoxy from the back and install some hanging hardware. Keep in mind that epoxy is very heavy, so anything you do, it has to be strong. If the project is very translucent, screws will be visible from front side…
Beautiful work. Do you mix the white pigment with resin or just use the pigment as is? I didn’t see any resin in the cup into which you poured the white. Thanks
