    This is beautiful! I sorta liked it before you sprayed it the first time but the cells are interesting. I'd be the one who would want a controlled spray with the Isopropyl alcohol in small areas. This might be a great option for us - hubby loves stone that leans brown and I love marble and stones that lean gray....

    The finished product is beautiful, but I wish you would have addressed the problem of staining with epoxy. Even leaving a coffee cup that leaves a ring stains permanently, not to mention wine. Do you have a resolution for that? Also, it's handy to line the bottom of the counter edges with packing tape and that way you don't have to wait and continually walk around scraping the bottom.

    What does the denatured alcohol do to the countertops? And is it necessary to use that?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. This creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop any micro bubbles that might be in the epoxy from mixing. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy and the risks associated with that.

    Do you have anything that i can apply to a late nineties cultured marble vanity top (with single sink) in my bathroom? It's that yellow-ish cultured marble that was popular back in the day. It's 55 inches wide (long) and 22 inches deep (wide) depending on how you look at it. It has a built in rear backsplash , and it has the optional left-side splash that is a separate piece. I have no idea which way to go on color but I'll probably do white-gray-ish pattern for some new VINYL Floor tile. So I'm looking for color ideas. The Vanity is the real maple wood (smooth) , so it's a very light stain brown color and very nice wood but I'll paint that whatever would go with the Top Epoxy coating color decision.

    Is cell dispersing effect created with any type of dye or does it have to be an alcohol ink?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hello! Just want to ask you just paint primer no sanding first?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what surface you are planning to install our product on. For some you can just prime, others require sanding and priming. Check out these videos where we coat over multiple kinds of surface 👇

    I love this effect but I was surprised you used brown for the veining and not black, is there a specific reason for that?
    I want to do this at home and so would love to know please?

    didn't you guys used to use blowtorches to get the bubbles out? Is the resin made differently now or something?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Our resin is designed to self-level and push any air that was mixed in to the surface. As you will see in this video 👉 th-cam.com/video/WFPXySBhoXo/w-d-xo.html we purposely mix in a lot of air and still get a beautifully smooth, glossy surface once it sets🔥

    I just moved in my home with Epoxy countertops. I would keep them but they are black and brown swirls in a very dark kitchen. Can I Epoxy over them? If not, do you have another product that will work over them? Thank you!
