- The most frequently asked question I get is how to create cells in resin. So in this video, I go through the process I use to create the cells and lacing and hopefully, it can help you to understand what you need to do to achieve the same results.
For this project I used the following materials:
• MDF panel (primed with a paint primer)

I saw so many TH-cam videos of people making the ocean waves. Out of all the ones I have seen, I never saw anyone blow theirs down as well. (I’m not saying their isn’t anyone one else doing it this way, I just haven’t seen any other videos of it) they only use their heat gun to blow upwards. Maybe because they aren’t making it very big. Well anyway, yours is gorgeous. It’s the best one that I have seen! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, I am delighted you like it. I tried to make it as realistic as possible and after studying photos of surf, I found that it is not predictable and the movement varies. So that was my attempt. 😁

I tried the Lang Ridge titanium white the other day as I had got a big order of colours from Artisue. I was really impressed with the cells it created I would even say better than the LeRez which I love.
Yes, I love both too. The only downside with the Langridge, is that you have to make sure you mix it well. 💕

Hi Ken, Le Rez Expressions do a range of nice colours. If you are in the US, take a look at Laura's Art Corner. She stocks them.
So awesome and satisfying to watch 😁 as you do it in this video, when its cured, can you feel the sand through it? If I want a flat surface over the sand, do I have to do another clear layer on top after? Best regards
You can feel the sand, although, that was my intention. You can add more resin to the sand and as it self-levels it will reduce the texture. For a smooth finish, more resin may be needed as a top coat.
Or you can use sand coloured pigment and avoid using sand. 💕
