Going to need Doc’s service for two major things. One is his outstanding titanium bolts and one is for suspension. Glad that he is offering such excellent help for the public, Doc’s mastermind as i use to say.
The most in-depth and informative bike check ever. Brilliant to give actual stories and reasons behind the modifications, not just a pars list. I'm a superfan of this! Thank you Sir for spreading the know-how.🧢😌
"...apart from that they're standard" what a line, Wob 😂 almost pissed myself. Work of art and seeing them in formation flat-knackers at VMXdN was mint...even if it was only on the Livestream (in NZ). I'll be glued to the '23 stream for the next edition.
As much as I love the moaning, the builds, the videos etc you're a childhood hero of mine followed you all the way from dbr to moto now to TH-cam. The amount of tips I picked up in goggle prep and bike work from you (and Lee) being a kid then going on to be a mechanic myself you the man too don't give mitch all the credit. Look forward to future factory projects on here 👍🏼
Yea that is the regular quick turn around and r&d workshop that’s connected to the machine and welding / fab rooms, the orange one is the resto - long term build set up
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for taking the time. Villa's wr was a good looking bike but this one really screams effort. Sometimes "because it just F-ing looks cool" is enough reason for just about anything...from stockings with the line uP the back... to guard dogs.lol Love Enzo's suspensions. Ross is the man for me. *The Black Chester's had us all drooling last year. What a line up that was. Cheers and best of finishes this year.
Brilliant video really enjoyed listening to how much goes into these bikes . In the future could you talk us through the restoration work you did on Thorpe's 86 RC 500 👍😁
We have actually been commissioned to do a sympathetic resto on another of Thorpe’s championship RC500’s so we can film progress on that one, for the 86 bike we rebuilt we don’t have any video footage but I’m happy to talk people through it- if it’s of interest?
I know you must be reading questions that you have been asked a million and one times , but for us fans of the sport who don't know what goes on behind the scenes, your years of being involved in the industry, you have been there and seen it all. I and many others enjoy your stories especially when you are with Tommy and ed . 😁
The seal that causes the issue is a really small rubber on the top of the solenoid for the power jet, if it’s perished and gone the fuel will constantly leak past causing the bike to be rich off the bottom
Howdy,Love your Channel,I could Use your Help,I’m building an 06 CR125 & wanna go Nuts on it,let me know how I can get ahold of you…are You in America?…ok thanks & Hope to Hear from ya🤘
When you see this you realise why they cost so much. When I do my own up, the money never works out. Always worth less than what you put in. Profit margins are not good!
Doc's work is actually ART 😎
When it’s a passion it’s always Art
Probably one of my favourite bikes of all time. Pure beauty
Agreed

Haha yea there’s not much we don’t mess with somehow!
🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍 Bugger me there is so much more work in these bikes than I thought. Works of art top to bottom. Can’t wait for Ep 2.

Just curious, hope there is not an obvious answer to this, but why not build the 05-06 and up year model? Alloy frame...06' got the SSS forks
Brembo ORO 78B40848.
270mm round front brake disk. Readily available here in Australia, not sure why they aren’t available in the UK?.
Lord knows!!
Like watching this stuff, anything to do with this DocRob, Browny, Poto... I'm watching!
So much more to come
That's Wob you go the little bit extra.
Oh yes!!!
Such a good looking bike... Are you talking about the O-ring at the end of the TPS sensor that's attached to the carb? Or on one of the jets?
The seal that causes the issue is a really small rubber on the top of the solenoid for the power jet, if it’s perished and gone the fuel will constantly leak past causing the bike to be rich off the bottom
So what year bike is Ryan racing now..2023 or older?
What spring rates do you run in this YZ250 ?
Wobb. 😮
Cheers !!
Nice

It’s passion and precision, it’s what we do 👍
That motor was so good Suzuki copied it! 😂
😳😳🤔
Yea I saw a lot of that inspiration whenever I was at the r&d dept at American Suzuki
