Before someone spends $1,285.43 on a bolt set, I would hope their bike was totally dialed in. IDK maybe I need to be schooled on the value they add? I bought my first new bike in 1989, CR 500R. My second new bike 2001 YZ 426F. I've never neeeded titanium bolts on either. I ride my CR500 the most. All my other bikes I bought used.

In Aus back in 1996-7 we had Yamaha yz250 Miller beer team bikes were black they looked cool

Just saw this. Fantastic build Doc, looks amazing.Toss up between this and the 500CR Husky for dream bike to have in the garage and just stare at. IF only Suzuki would build this they would sell every one they could produce.

I never realised how trick that 500 was. I just thought they were big fibreglass panels that just replaced the stock panels. Those tanks look so cool, do you not know anyone who worked on the team back then?

I rebuilt a 95 yz250 and when I got it, it had a ti subframe! Could not believe it. Still running it today. Love the 93-95 yz250's.

Doc I always say Micheal Pichon Championships snuck under the radar. I watched the races from 2001, 2002 and even 2003 against Stephan Everts and the “Diesel“Yamaha 400 4 stroke are must watch racing. Those two guys really slugged it out. I’m glad one of Pichon’s bikes found it’s way to you because you will give it the TLC this RM250 deserves. I’m with you all the way, being a Suzuki guy myself⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
