The GR Toyota Supra is finally available with 3 pedals! Toyota added a 6-speed manual transmission option, to the happiness of all enthusiasts. We spent a week living with this 2023 Supra 3.0L equipped with the manual to see what it was like. Yes it feels like a BMW, No that is not a bad thing for a sports car. B58 makes good power and torque, its fun to drive, enjoy this vlog and mini-review!

Of course the M2 is faster. It has the S58 engine versus the B58 in the Supra. Shouldn't even be in the same sentence.
You would think that but after watching Savagegease’s comparison the Supra is actually faster on track.
@@madmyro The M2 has a faster out of the box experience and S58 is twin turbo. The Supra is easier to work on and much easier to be customized. Boyh can be Femto unlocked. The M2 is a better daily with the 2 bacn seats. I have a 2023 A91 6MT and even though it rips, it's not my daily due to lack of space. The Supra feels like an F1 cockpit, very cramped which is good for handling and aerodynamics. Anyone choosing between M2 G87 or Supra would be happy either way. Both have pros and cons.
@@chrisginoc I completely agree with you. I have a 2023 manual on order and I have a 2014 Focus ST3 with 60k miles that is my “daily”/ autocross car. Grew up around my old man having M cars so both are a good pick but I’m buying the Supra for road racing so it’s a better choice out of the two for me.

Even though there's a lot of BMW stuff going on, after developing the platform both companies made their own design additions (not just exterior design styling) to their respective cars which I think is cool so they're not exactly the same cars with different bodies. The McLaren F1 used a BMW motor and Paganis use Mercedes so I don't get the hate for this not being pure Toyota I think it's great for what it is though I haven't driven one.
The difference there is Pagani and Mclaren built their own cars around those engines, whereas Toyota didn’t.
@@kevinjames8050 Fair enough but from what I've read BMW and Toyota worked together developing the platform, I just don't know who put in more of the work.
@@hampstershat123 BMW by a long shot. Just like how the GR86 is mostly a rebadged Subaru. Toyota doesn’t make their own sports cars anymore.

I was totally set on buying a manual Supra but now the m2 came out and it’s sooooooo much better and only like 2k more…. But I do hate the idea of a bmw badge.. so much hate for them for some reason
Better how? Faster maybe (slightly), but in terms of fun factor I'd take the supra any day of the week.

Yes. I have a 2023 A91 6MT. The rev match is incredible.
