This was very helpful! I have been worried about the times that I pump and then baby wants to feed shortly after, and feeling like there may not be any more milk for her. But what you say makes sense, just put baby to the breast, there should be enough left. Thank you.
Also when labeling, include the time of day. Milk after 8 pm has melatonin! Great to give to a fussy baby during day or night to comfort them. And it won’t disrupt their sleeping habits because they sleep most of the time anyways.
They there🤩, thank you. In my first month and I have been just pumping when my boobs feels very sore to avoid clogging. Now as I am move to month 2, planning to start off pumping twice a day to build up some emergency stash❤️. On average I am doing 4 ounce in 10 minutes so I will increase to 15 minutes and see how it goes🤩. Thank you for the information, helps us out as new mama out there
4 ounces in a great amount. I wouldn’t try to push it too much more. More pumping can increase chances of a clogged duct. Just be sure to wean down very slowly when you’re ready ❤️
I haven’t done a collaboration video with anyone before and I know that your channel isn’t exactly baby related but I’d like moms to know that they don’t have to spend a lot of money on breastfeeding supplies. Maybe we could talk about getting a video out together sometime ? 🤷♀️🥰
@@marycahillclc thank you, will definitely gradually ease into it and see how it goes. Thank you, don’t know how much this really means for new mum out here ❤️
@@marycahillclc definitely a good idea and keen to collaborate. We can engage further on this especially when I am settled in with the baby. I realise one can easily spent on pumps, parts, food to increase supply etc. I will keep in touch🤩
My girl is 2 weeks today. We are having ltching problems. I have an appt for a lactation consultant soon but until then i am clueless. This is my 3rd baby and i am still learning. I am having to pump all the time. I try to use nipple shield. I use the haaka milk collector because it seems she either likes one side better or its just she hets to tired. Ive tried changingnher diaper the whole nine yards, i am only pumping 2 oz morning and night. And she wants more. She is also cluster feeding and i pump every two to 3 hours if its night 3. I stay so tired. Any tips please before my appt so i can keep my supply to meet her needs and help me not be so stressed. Diapers are good, she is gaining weight the way she is supposed to but i just dont know what im doing honestly. Am i pumping to much. Can i skip the nighttime pumping, is it okay to got every 3 hours? I am watching alot of videos but its still hard for me to comprehend sometimes.
I’m sorry that it’s been rough mommy 😞 I’m glad that you’re going to see a LC. With her gaining well and good diaper output, that’s showing that she’s getting enough. Are you giving her all of what you pump? Is the latch painful? How was breastfeeding with your older babies? You said that she gets tired but cluster feeds. Is she staying latched if you let her, but seems to not be eating? Will she latch at all without the shield?
I'm a breastfeeding mama and my baby is 2 weeks old too! He was born 5/16! Breastfeeding tips: My milk was low too for me because my first baby each time I made 8 Oz now I was making 2 or 3, I feed the baby whenever, no schedule, if he's hungry I feed him. During the night I am not waking up or pumping. Unless my boobs were full. I eat the milk makers chocolate oat cookies, I pump during the day If the baby is sleepy and doesn't empty my breast, or when he is sleeping and my chest is full. I have power pumped probably twice a week. And make sure you're drinking a lot of water!!! That's a key to success and eat GRAINS. ALSO AT LEAST ONCE A DAY EAT A SWEET GRAIN (I eat milk makers or a chewy bar) WITH MILK!!! That's also a 🔑 to success!
@@aishadelva1623 hi mommy! I’m so glad that things are going great. Thank you so much for encouraging other moms 🥰 I just wanted to mention for other moms following; Lactation cookies and extra water won’t increase milk supply. It’s been shown to be a placebo effect. If you feel like it’s helping you, then you can definitely continue. I point this out because moms feels like they’ve failed if it’s not working. What does make more milk is having baby at the breast more or pumping along with lots of breast massage. ❤️
@@marycahillclc I tried without the cookies and milk and water, for 2 weeks and wasn't making a lot. Once I started the cookies I've been having fuller breast and 6 Oz. I'm not some marketer or something, they really helped me

Hi
I have a question
Could you please answer me
I forgot to close my freezer for one hour 😢 should I throw them away the breast milk?
Or refreeze
@@fatimahmohammedawi5277 as long as it wasn’t completely thawed (if it was slushy with some ice crystals in it), you can refreeze it. ❤️
