My daughter was born in March of 2020. I pumped like crazy because I had planned to go back to work after 6 weeks and wanted to have enough of a stash for her. But… Covid. I got laid off during my maternity leave. I was in the habit so continued to pump once a day. Because I was almost exclusively breastfeeding, my freezer stash was nearing expiration, so I made soap out of it. My whole family became addicted, it was a miracle product for acne, eczema, dry skin, etc. I was very sad when I ran out and had to return to my old facial cleansers.
Hey, love your videos! Just wanted to share some info, I’m a NICU nurse and one of the things that our lactation consultant teaches is to get a new pump with every baby. If you are using your pump often it can lose its power and not empty you as effectively and in the long run effect your supply. Insurance covers or gives money towards (depending what pump you want) a new pump with every pregnancy.
I followed your old video exactly! Now my baby is 6 months and we have a great stash. It’s nice to see this update ❤ I would love to see your top 10 baby items or rating to your old registry now.
Nursing new baby #3 while watching this and feel super encouraged! Thanks for the video 💕 LOVED the home management systems video, bought the book and working on my binder. Efficient systems videos are my new favorite! Keep ‘em coming!
I bookmarked this same flavor of video when you did it way back when. I am so glad I did bc I followed the same method, recommended by you, for both of my babes. What a game changer! As for video recs, I'd love to hear your journey with YL. I remember your very first video when you introduced them. Now, look at you! I'd love to hear the BTS of how you landed here. As for systems videos, a morning and night routine with kids, 40 (or insert number) of things you don't buy anymore due to more of a homestead lifestyle. The journey to and from all of your houses. You stated somewhere on either here or IG that you've had some deep reflection when it's come to your current house on whether it's your forever home or not, would love to hear where the root of this thinking stems from. Also, I love seeing you sprinkle in parts of your faith in videos... Would love to hear how you incorporate your faith in the day to day. Andddd..... We haven't seen a q and a in a long time... Let's bring one back! You rock!
I personally think the Willow 3.0 and or Elvie are best hands free pumps. Manual pumps are fine, but being able to pump on the go really changes the game. The Willow doesn’t leak with bags. It leaks at the top of the pump with the containers, but you can still bend.
My hack is using s Haka on the other breast while baby nurses on one. I attach it with minimal suction just to collect the pet down dropplets and i get like 20ml per feed and freeze it at the end of the day 😊
Yay!! Nursing my first baby… 9 months in. I have a small freezer stach… how much milk do you normally get with each 10 min pump? I know everyone is different but this is so much simpler than what I was first told… “to pump after every nursing session 😅”
Love this! The other thing about pumping every day that a lot of people don’t really talk about is that for some women this is the only way they can keep their supply up enough to make it to the year mark, especially if they get their period back early postpartum. I found with my second that once I stopped pumping around the 6 month mark my supply dropped a ton and then once I added it back in I felt like he was getting more of what he needed
Would you consjder sharing tour kids night routine? My goal for our 2nd baby due this fall is to helo him establish a more clear bedtime routine. I would love to have evenings back with my husband. Balancing motherhood and spouse time is so hard.
Hi Becca! Would you be able to do a video on your favorite fiction books. I took your rec from one of your previous videos on the Nightingale. AMAZING! Curios to see if you had other recommendations. Thank you!

She answers that towards the ending.

Maybe your farm tour or what you want in the future for animals!
thank you for this updated video!! 🥰
Thank you! What do you do with the manually pumped milk when you’re out? Do you bring a cooler or do you not save it?

I'm curious what nursing bras you use. I have some and they just aren't super supportive.
I use the hotmilk brand! They have great underwire bras.
Did any of your babies have difficulty taking a bottle? Mine is 8 weeks and just started refusing the bottle!
My baby is 11 weeks, and she is also refusing the bottle 😫
Is your baby still refusing the bottle?
If not, how did you do it?
Try the Mam Bottle 🍼
❤❤❤
She is very beautiful
