When I first went against Marx in Classic Mode playing as Kirby, it wasn’t only a great boss fight but it caught me off guard and left me surprised that he was a boss in Smash. It’s a shame he wasn’t a fighter but it was a great boss fighter nevertheless!
I always wanted him in as figther but atleast he has some kind of appearance in the game wich makes me really happy.
I fought him on 9.9 with inkling (one of my mains) and ended it with about 200%. I felt so good getting the final hit and spammed side taunt afterwards
We need good bosses like him. He shouldn't be a fighter. We already lost Ridley.

Ultimate giga bowser: "it's the exact same as the final smash"
Melee giga bowser, which is the exact same boss but looks worse: "great boss that deserves to be over 10 places higher"
arzfan29 I’m not the biggest fan of Melee, but I generally prefer the Melee Giga Bowser fight. The fact it’s a traditional stock battle and not a health bar battle makes the fight way more intense and challenging. The fact the devs gave him a health bar in Ultimate just removes from the challenge of having to defeat him like a normal fighter.
It's about how he was presented to the player.
@@sposp the melee one was presented in terrible gamecube quality and just appears, the ultimate one looks great and has you go through bowsers castle with him waiting at the end, ultimate's has the better presentation

I wish we could get a true Boss Rush mode for Ultimate like Brawl did, along with Tabuu and Master Core returning. Those bosses are just too good to be left behind in their respective games!

Boss rush is 100 percent necessary. I know sakurai said no more new modes, but I hate having to do the finale of world of light just to fight the bosses again.

I figured out how to beat Porky in 10 seconds
Step 1: Use Kirby.
Step 2: go above Porky.
Step 3: use down special on corner of the machine. It may take a few tries, but soon you’ll see his health bar go down to nothing

Number 12 was probably miscommunication with the guest and Melee Giga Bowser is an original creation while Ultimate Giga Bowser is the same as Melee.
The final boss will always be my fave. It feels like one of the first genuinely 3-way boss fights I've ever experienced, as not only are you fighting the two forces of light and darkness, but they're fighting each other and damaging each other in the process.
Plus, if the theories about what these entities are meant to represent, in the same way Master Hand and Crazy Hand might represent two sides of Sakurai as a creative, orderly game developer, building things as nicely as he can, and as a destructive, chaotic gamer, bashing the toys around for the sake of dumb fun, one could see a whole new awesome interpretation in the meaning of this fight.
no but seriously i don’t think i will ever have a feeling even remotely similar to when both my last fighter and galeem were exactly one hit away from being defeated but then i dodged galeem’s very last attack by MERE PIXELS so that kirby could go in for the kill and my THIRTY MINUTES of climbing and boss rushing and struggling with the 3-way finale could finally be worth it🥲🥲

I was about to comment this same thing. The background doesn't affect the battle and making it MOTHER 3 themed wouldn't make any sense in SE story. This list was really weirdly organized.
Honestly that boss fight was really easy(but to be fair I’m a Lucas main) I really didn’t see it being that high up on the list
Backgrounds make bosses better imo.
Watching Galeem and Dharkon attack together is weirdly mesmerizing, like they're fighting to consume the player, YOU watching the screen in light/darkness

Gotta say, Marx and Galeem/Dharkon were easily my favorite bosses. While Marx was fairly easy, it was such a joy fighting him. Reminds me of Super Star/Ultra, which is a great thing. While Galeem/Dharkon aren't too tough, they've still got some attacks that will keep you on your toes as well as the amazing music playing in the background...
Agreed, and if I had to rank the final battle with both of them, then it would of definitely been above tabuu at least, because the build up, clone fights while climbing a weird platform tower, and a boss Russ right before the final battle made it an extremely amazing fight in my eyes.
Fight Galeem and Darkon on hard mode. They are brutal there compared to the normal and easy versions which I find to be pathetic.

Lol he kicked my ass on my first playthrough of subspace, but after I beat him the first time I was able to do it on much higher difficulty without as much trouble as before. (this partially being because I found my brawl main after I beat subspace, so I could whoop him extra hard that time.)

Is no one going to mention how galeam and dharkons attacks make more sense when you realize that the attacks are meant to counter one another and not the player. Like the entire final battle of ultimate is literally two gods fighting each other to the death while you add damage and you are just occasionally taking collateral damage until they finally acknowledge you halfway through the fight. And I find that hilarious and awesome at the same time
Marx was absolutely perfect for Rosalina’s Classic Mode, especially with her teaming up with Mario, creating some sort of storyline of them investigating the latest threat to the universe.

y'all forgot the actual best one; The double duel of Galeem and Dharkon. It's very cool, and you have to go through a gauntlet of stages fighting other characters, and finally when you get to the top you are caught in the crossfires of Galeem and Dharkon fighting as you fend off both to save the world! it's great

My favorite Character is Badama Dii
The thing I love most about Rathalos is how perfectly his attacks translate from his appearances in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Generations, and the crazy attention to detail to make the fight feel like it was directly transplanted from those titles. Really, the move where he shoots "smart bombs" from the background is the only original attack.
- His swoops, fireballs and tail swipes come directly from those two games
- Rathalos's roar stuns characters like it does in Monster Hunter. His infamous tendency to shoot a fireball and go airborne as you're stunned comes straight from the games
- If you're hit during a particular one of his aerial attack animations, your character will take some flower damage, referencing his venomous talons in the games
- He will get stunned if you hit him enough times in the head, which is easiest to do with the exploding deku nuts. This references how Knockout damage works in the Monster Hunter series (hit a monster enough times in the head with blunt weapons and it'll be stunned for a while)
- You can bury him with pitfall seeds, which work similarly to the pitfall traps in his native series
- Lastly, Rathalos will be battered and bruised by the time you defeat him, with huge scars on his head and body, ripped wings and missing spikes from his tail. He'll also start limping around occasionally. In the Monster Hunter series you're never told the monster's remaining health during a hunt, and have to rely on clues such as physical scars and limps to tell if the monster's about to die. The damage patterns also exactly match those in 4U and Gen

You forgot about the Master & Crazy hand duel boss battles, they get new attacks when they work in sync with each other making them more of a challenge.

i've always considered Dharkon the harder of the two since i find it MICH harder to figure out where it's attacks are gonna reach and what not, alongside the backround sometimes making it a bit tough to see a couple attacks (the amount of times the slash that creates the time-slow zones has killed me since i didn't realize he was preparing it is stupid) while galeem's attacks once who know what they are, you can basically do the same thing to dodge, or they clearly project where the attack will be

honestly marx was frustrating enough in super star but in SMASH he was hell on earth. between his new moveset and the fact that u didnt hav access to any of the copy abilities that were in super star nintendo may as well hav put marx on steroids

But I personally think there’s more interesting ideas with necrozma, what with Galen and dharkon already setting a tone. I mean, you could have a 4 stage boss in best case scenario (Original,nDusk Mane, Dawn Wings and Ultra) Again, nothing against rayquaza, but I think there’s more interesting ideas with necrozma
Duon is actually my favorite Smash Bros. boss, because I loved the way it switches between close- and long-range combat.
I dont like that they called Duon and Galleon generic. If they are SO generic why did Galleon return for ultimate?

I really thought I was going to see Darkhon and Galeem together in the top. This battle was awesome.
I absolutely DESPISE ultimate’s Master hand and Crazy hand fights because they are so overused in classic mode.
So do you hate 64,melee, and brawl master hands too.

Thanks that you realize that Marx is the best boss. He is also my number 1 smash boss, my favorite Kirby character (and probably favorite Nintendo character but that not sure yet) and my most wanted for the Smash roster (I still believe that he can make it in. Definitely more than Waluigi :P and if not in this game then very likely in the next game. What's sure is that he is the next Ridley)

Sorry Marx has almost no chance of being playable compared to Waluigi or Waddle Dee.
I'd like Marx but I want him after we get Bandee and some decent modern representation for Kirby
@@rubyrogers8879 Bandana Dee: ok but Magolor, Taranza, Susie and so on are all not so iconic Kirby chars like Marx. Also Marx is more supported by Sakurai and HAL than the others.

I think Galeem and Dharkon together should have been counted as it`s own spot. Yeah there aren't new attacks, but dealing with both while directing their attacks at each other certainly feels like a new fight.

Marx was my fav kirby villain, and i cheered so much when i fought him in smash
