It is the gamecube version shown since link is left handed! In the wii version link holds the sword in the right hand couse of the wii motion controls.

@@aaaah540 I think one two switches is a fine game. But it should be bundled in with the switch or be significantly cheaper because the fact that it cost $50 and that the textbook demo title is ridiculous. If Nintendo did that then one two switch would be respected a lot more.

What about Pilotwings resort?
There’s also no F-Zero Maximum Velocity, 10-Yard Fight, NES Soccer, Excite Truck, Galactic Pinball, or Red Alarm. A grand total of 8 games missing and that’s only if we’re sticking with US launch titles and don’t count virtual console or Nintendogs+cats as 3 separate games. Also DK Jr. Math was never a launch title in any region best I can tell.

@@dentistrider3874 Also, what about Wave Racer Bluestorm, it was a Gamecube launch game both in Japan and the U.S. it was also developed by N.S.T(Nintendo Software Technology), published by Nintendo, and was a positively received launch game with Luigi's Mansion. What gives(no hate, I just want to know wheres wave racer) Fun fact: did you know that the first Wave Racer game was released on the Nintendo Gameboy as wave Racer in 1992.

Wii sports should really be higher. Even after all these years, it's the most replayable title on the machine. Sure, you won't spend 100s of hours at a time, but it's the best game to break out when you have guests or if you and the kids just want to play against each other. They did so well with the games, it's really held up well over the years (and yes, this includes the Resort one too).

ROB made the NES look like more of a toy than a video game system. Which I think was a great idea
Somebody’s speaking my language! R.O.B. Making the NES look like a toy was a great move because during the video game crash, “video games” weren’t even allowed to be sold. So basically he helped the NES to sneak into markets as a “toy”. R.O.B. was also a great marketing tool to help the NES get known faster. “Outstanding move”
Yeah, but ROB actually ended up being hated by lots, and I mean LOTS, of people for its slow controls, poor functionality and the fact it was literally only compatible with three games.

Wii Sports was meant to get more casual people into video games. Twilight Princess was the marketing for people that had bought older Nintendo consoles.

EMMITT MARTIN Mario Odyssey wasn’t a launch title for the Switch; the Switch came out on March 3rd, 2017, while Odyssey came out on October 27th, 2017.
EMMITT MARTIN yep not a launch title. Even then I like Mario odyssey, but my favorite games to this day is Mario galaxy 1 and 2.

Breath of the Wild may be my most played game, next to Splatoon 2. The addition of the Champions' Ballad and Master Mode really give the game more depth and replayability, and it's AWESOME!

Luigi's Mansion will forever be my favorite game ever
Tetris may be part Of Nintendo now, but its not really originally from Nintendo which is why I didn't expect it to show up on this list, but other than that I totally nailed it with my predictions for the top 5, I guessed BOTW, SMB, SMG, SM64 and SMM because of what new never seen before aspects that will mold for future titles, and how stunning and nostalgic you get from them
( I would have never guessed that Tetris would make 2 out of the top 5)

Nintendo land is one of my favorite Nintendo games, I like it even more than Wii sports. I’ve had so many fun memories playing metroid blast, Mario chase, Luigi’s ghost mansion, and the Zelda mini game with friends. It also used the game pad the best out of any Wiiu game
Breath of the wild was my favorite launch title, as it's my favorite game of all time. However super Mario Bros was probably the most important, no, it was.
It was definitely important. During the mid 1980s, the video game market was going through a pretty rough drought after those failed Atari games made people lose interest in the genre. Then, Nintendo, deciding to step out of the arcade game business, made Super Mario Bros. and single handly saved the video game industry.
My thoughts exactly, it is the game that created the platformer genre and saved a whole industry and it was stuck behind LoZ BotW which is a Masterpiece too but not particularly revolutionary since open world games had been already around for years at that point... Also Super mario 64 revolutionised the platformer genre which would not exist without Super mario bros... So Super mario bros would be no1 and then probably Super Mario 64 no2 and LoZ BotW no3....
referral madness a)Super Mario Bros is the first true side scrolling of all time. The jump mechanic is an important feature of platformers for sure (obviously the most consistent one in this family of genres) but we cannot compare Donkey Kong or Mario Bros to Super Mario Bros. The scope of the latter is completely different and marked a really distinct way of handling console games in comparison to their coin op counterparts which were always single screen games. B)... Excuse me? 🤔 🤔 🤔 Super Mario Bros saved the industry. Period. Console gaming would not be a thing if the US crash wasn't amended. PC gaming is not the thing Super Mario Bros saved. It was console gaming. A niche gaming market(Japan) and straight up indifferent towards gaming markets (such as most of the European and South American countries) dont constitute a proper counter to this arguement. Japan mimiced US at first (console gaming started with Commodore Atari etc. Not NES) so the cheap Atari knock offs would have tanked the Japanese market too sooner or later if there wasn't the Famicom and its catridge policy... US is a bigger market than Japan. And prior to Nintendo's success the undisputed trend setter. Sega did better than Nintendo in Europe for sure but the crash never happened there. If Japan dominated the market and US was always a stronghold for the market Europe was not a friendly market at all... And it was infested with NES knock offs to a much higher degree than the other too. Same goes for South America. Talking about them in the 80s is like talking about the Chinese market today. Consoles are so marginal there that china isnt even considered a part of the market at all.
I'd put BotW as 3, it's the best game.
2 is SM64, it's why we call 3D games as having a camera and invented moving the angle of perspective.
And 1 is SMB, it invented moving screens and saved the video game industry. R.O.B. helped, but Super Mario did the heavy lifting.
Glad to see that Wrecking Crew ranked so high. It was an unexpected pleasure when I played all the games from the first year of the NES. Fun fact: It was almost a whole year before any other games were released for the NES. After the previous video game market crash developers were hesitant to work on a new system and had to see the sales figures before making games.

I actually played 1-2 Switch a lot with my friends and family, and we found it to be pretty fun. But I can see why it can be seen as not the best. There isn’t much game, and it was overpriced.

I love 1 2 Switch, almost every party, Ive brought it up and we've had a blast, we don't play every game tho, the stand outs are the quick draw and samurai but nonetheless, Ive had so much fun with 1 2 Switch and still haven't gotten over it (I still think it's overpriced )

On Nintendo Land, You can use Wii Remotes to assist eachother (slow down the DK thingy) in the DK one, forgot its name. So if ya think about it, its co-op.

NSMB Wii was a goddamn bad fight when my family played. Very rarely would we regularly play like we were supposed to. We just pick each other up and try to kill each other. Got smash brothers brawl and it was so fun.
