I'm glad to learn that the cats can ride Plessie! It's not the most obvious because you lose things like the Propeller Box when you hop on Plessie, but that is good to know

It was hard for me. Not the hardest by far, but finding that friggin third cat was annoying.
The other two are pretty close to their mother, and you just have this one that somehow crossed multiple islands separated by water.

Kaly and Kathy were pretty easy to find but, since Kawi likes the cold, she went from the ruins, to Trickity Tower, where she was picked up by Purressie, who took her to Crisp Climb Castle. And that's the story of how Kawi ended up surrounded by ice. And I must say, she has good balance, because, like NB said, "Ice is like ground, but it slip".

I agree with this. I'd switch 2 and 1 though. I had much more of a hassle getting those damn blue coins. I also just found out you can use plessie for the cats which would've made that much easier and less annoying. great vid as always
Oh my god. I had no idea you could hold the piranha plants and use them to eat the fuzzies for “Feasting on Fuzzies”. I lured Fury Bowser there and used his fire to destroy them all, took a solid 20 minutes and used up at least 15 power ups

The lost kittens shines were adorable and absolutely love them!
For me, the hardest shines where the blue coin missions in Tricky Tower and Slipskate Slope; it took me ages to get them on my first playthrough

17:24 you dont actually need the shoe for this one, IMO this shine is way easier if you just skip getting the shoe and run through instead, you dont even need Bowser Jr to help with the coins, just keep running and you have more than enough time
Blue coins on slippery slope is definitely my #1. Even without plessie, the missing cats in the ruins is very easy. I would place the missing cats in ruins as low as 20 or 25
With the exception of a few shines like Slip Skate Slope Blue Coin Bustle, the only shines I find to be somewhat difficult are some of the shine shard shines, because there always seems to be one shine that sometimes just doesn't exist, even if it does.
This is one of the only games I've ever played that was never difficult to the point of frustration. Even the shines high on the list gave me little trouble. It's not a bad thing though. Bowser's fury is a pretty good comfort game imo because of that

I easily 100 percented bowsers fury but I’m on champion’s road now and I really need tips to beat it. The farthest I got was to star 3 and I couldn’t get all the key coins for the warp box

When I 100%ed Bowser's Fury, I had no trouble getting most of the cat shines. The only shines that gave me the most trouble were a few of Roiling Roller Isle's shines and Slipskate Slope’s Blue Coin Bustle, but I somehow got that one in 2-3 tries. And for the lost kittens near the ruins, you can give the cat from Crisp Climb Castle a ride on Plessie's back after beating the main game.
For the donut block timer one, it's a lot easier then you'd think. You can kick the soccer balls into the blocks and destroy them. I finished it with a good 4-5 seconds to spare

Thought #47 was harder then the Lighthouse one and the cat shards there because you need to actually route your path.
#2 should be #1. It's frustrating if you have even the slightest drift and took me way longer then it should have. With your #1 only one of the kittens is frustrating, and apparently you can use Plessie!

This Must have been a Nightmare to make because the cat shines aren't as memorable as the stars or the normal shines,

Love you NB, but I’ll never understand just how hard it is for you to differentiate stars and shines. You literally start the video saying hardest shines, yet for number 100 you call it a star.
For #1, I did the Ice Floe stuff and it took forever, but I learned afterwards that it was doable by putting the kitten on Plessie.

The 5 cat shines were always the hardest for me. I can usually beat any challenge new Mario Games give to me but all that skill won't help me when I have no idea where the cat shines could be

For RRI: key to the cat shine if you have a tanooki you can just float from the top of the railing that is next to the lighthouse to the entrance where the key is

For the Lost Kittens Near the Ruins (#1), I only had trouble finding the last kitten. Turns out if you jump onto Nessy with the kitten, you can just ride them directly to the island, it is a LOT easier. Honestly I feel the blue coins deserve #1, that actually took about an hour to do-
On crisp climb castle there is a really easy shortcut. On the second tower go to the first small area and at the top go to the left. There you will land on this small area. Jump of it towards the camera and use the propeller to start going left. From there you can get on the final cog

I just wanna add for number 4: You can also use the launched bombs that are spherical as when walked towards, Mario will kick them. Once kicked, anything it hits will explode.
Hey Bandy! Idk if any other comment has said this but for shine #1 you’re able to put the cat on plessie and ride him to the other island. U can also do this for any other cat in the game. Hope that makes this shine easier for you!

I used the ice for the last one and I WAS SO MAD WHEN I FOUND OUT PLESSIE COULD HELP. Also as a person who has got all of these shards I 100% agree with everything you said!
LOL NB on #14 u can literally just dive all the way to the very beginning of the level if u swap out ur power with a cat suit, that'll save u a lot of hassle 😂

14:46 If you just jump off the top toward the dock, you don't have to climb back down with the key. That's what I did, and it was much simpler.
Honestly, Plessie Medal Master was probably the most difficult cause I thought you had to collect the medals with Plessie, and the jump to get the second medal is seriously precise with how you have to jump when you hit a point on the dock, which you then have to hope that plessie actually goes onto the wastelands instead of falling back down

You can also cheese the shadow luigi missions with Bowser Jr. as well. He'll just hone in and smash him even if you don't mean to.
For RRI key you could jump off toward the key on the left, hover with tanooki, and throw and make it

I actually had problems getting the ice float one because I kept sliding off and the one at cat beach that's in the black goo where you need the cat tower I got with a propeller box way before I should lol. Most problems made ice skate blue coins. It took me over 2 hrs to get that one. Was the last one missing.
The Blue Coin Bustle shine in Slipskate Slope is absolutely agonizing...
The rotation lava and the Blu coin bustle with the skate shoe we struggled hard on.
11:24 For 33, I was able to just bring Plessy to the corner by the shine and double wall jump to get the shine, I didn't even realize there was a level
I think the Slip skate slope blue coin bussle shine should be number 1, the only hard part about the missing cat shine was that it was too hard to find.
11:04 I've never seen anyone take that route for the shine instead of the easier route which requires just propeller boosting to the platform made on the main part of the island and then to the top from the small piece of ground
I find blue coin bustle with the ice skate is incredibly difficult to me but everything else is easy as all hell, ive one hundred percented sm3d world with no powerups other than the regular tanooki (ninety degree wall jumps and spin wall jumps are usually enough to clear most heights required, if not you can easily just use rosalina to spin mid air after spinning jumping into a wall jump after unlocking her) but the goddamn blue coins just kill me
On Lost Kittens Near the Ruins it's also very annoying how you often only have one shot going the glacier route before fury bowser awakens, and if he does awaken while you're on the glacier you might as well head back to Crisp Climb and wait for the fury cycle to end

For the "Lost Kittens Near The Ruins" shine, if you just take the kitten and jump on Plessie you can ride with the kitten. Makes the shine super easy. Just a hint for anyone struggling with this.
