The way bro was just standing around, tanking hits, only moving in a way that made him look cool, Dracula was 110% being an anime character here
Don’t forget that similar to Ganon’s tail, only hits on Dracula’s head will damage him in phase 1, meaning he has the smallest hitbox of all the bosses

True, but his head floats there in an easy to hit spot while Ganon's tail is shielded by his body.
Yes, but the rest of Ganon's body works as an invincible shield, so most attacks will lock onto his body/be blocked by his body, vs Dracula who's hitbox isn't protected by a shield, so big attacks/big hurt boxes are basically garenteed to hit
@@loselot6044 yep, I believe that's hurtbox priority, just like when k rool is using belly armor an attack that connects with the belly will always be tanked (if it doesn't break it) even if it was something like sephiroth's fsmash that cleary connected with the back hitbox too
@@andrecidueye1701 That and attacks where bosses teleport and slam into your character (Marx is a big example here) all targeted the front half of the body without getting close to the tail, so I get the feeling that attacks were actively aiming at the invincible part of Ganon

Smash is truly 3D, with 3D hitboxes
So it makes sense
A reminder that Smash does suprisingly work in 3d, even back in Melee I believe Yoshi's dash grab was bad because the tongue went too far back in the background and the hitbox was behind the "fighting plane"

The problem with Ganon’s enemies that made him practically invincible is that the other bosses try to aim for the center of his hit box which is far away from his hurtbox.
What made Dracula do so well against Ganon was the fact that most of his attacks don’t require aiming and are fired indiscriminately.
This is so Canon. Oh my God. Like Dracula easily dispatching of these lesser monsters where Ganon takes on these stronger opponents due to his sheer invulnerability the two meet each other in the final round where Ganon is the only one to bring Dracula to the brink of defeat before barely giving in himself. Good stuff

This really makes me wish that these bosses were more accessible in the main game. Being locked behind an auto saving world of light and very specific classic modes is brutal. I don't really count the boss rush at the end of WoL either considering they are all much frailer and you have to go through a slow platforming section first.
If I could add anything to Smash Ultimate to enhance the singleplayer, custom Classic mode would be big. Imagine being able to make routes, and play other people's routes.
Also you have to pay to get Sephiroth's boss rush

This truly was a game of "May the smallest/jankiest hitbox win," wasn't it?
Dracula only had his head in the first phase which explains everything. Ganon only has his tail which also helped. Dharkon only has their eye, which isn't even present all the time and would've provided a similar advantage... if their first opponent wasn't one of the other two. That said, said small hit box did manage to help in the free for all.
I do find it interesting that the bosses could actually act out of their stun immediately, but the AI when you fight them normally chooses to remain in stun for a set time period in order to let the player hit them.
16:47 Also, I didn't know that the dual hands still had that move. It was introduced in SSB4 and I thought they got rid of it going into Ultimate.
For this video they act out of their stun very quickly because they're a level 9 CPU, and level 9 CPUs mash incredibly fast.
For the normal boss fights they must use a different AI so that the bosses don't ruin the fun by escaping their stun almost instantly.
i think i've seen them do that move here and there during my 9.9 classic mode runs in ultimate, but i could be wrong
I've seen this one in Ultimate but I've never seen this one from Ganon though 13:46 . He must use it only when he's very low HP.

@@luminousluma You were most likely lucky cause I've never seen it at least once against Ganon in my own experience. By the way, this Master Hand and Crazy Hand combined attack is quite common and doesn't only appear in 9.9 .

These battles were amazing! I expected it to be janky, but it worked almost perfectly, and they even had some sick interactions with perfect dodges and whiff punishes! I would love to see this again with a reshuffled bracket

This shows that Ganon and Dracula are literally Top Tier Characters.
Literally only one vulnerable Spot, but Dracula's is a bit more Exposed.
While Dracula has the Advantage in a 1vs1, he will have lots of problems in Scenarios with more than 1 opponent.
As for Ganon he can without a problem take out multiple People at once (I think most Kills in Free For All are on Ganon) Therefore weakening Dracula enough caused him the Win, the reason he lost in the 1vs1 is Because he was unfortunally in the center of his swirrel attack, Therefore giving Dracula a Huge advantage from that Multihit

If I had a nickel for every time Ganon and Dracula fought inside of Dracula’s castle using their Smash Ultimate models for both their humanoid forms and their monster forms ending with Dracula winning
I'm not saying it would be a lot, but it might be a little weird.

For a bunch of NPCs specifically designed to fight human players, this was surprisingly fascinating.
Galeem and Dharkon will also try to attack each other in the final level of World of Light when one of them is stunned. Dharkon becomes a giant hammer, and Galeem becomes a spear. Figuring out how to add those moves to their regular movesets regardless of if the other is stunned (Or even present) could give them an edge.
If you do this again in the future, I’d recommend doing the following to change things up:
-Give Galeem and Dharkon their “stun/potshot moves” (see above).
-Equalize all boss health and give Dracula the option to have either both phases (each with half the health), just the first phase, or just the second phase. And nerf the damage his projectiles can do along with their range for his first phase.
-Make it possible to damage Ganon by hitting any part of his body (like everyone else). Rename “WoL Master Hand” to just “Master Hand”, remove the other lamer Classic Mode variant, and I remember fighting Crazy Hand multiple times in the campaign too (so if you’re using Classic Mode Crazy Hand, get rid of him).
WOL masterhand doesn’t act like the WOL master hand since he has paint balloons, does a background attack and gets stunned
I am a little sad as a fan that Ganon loses, both in Death battle and in Smash Bros. Is Dracula that strong?
In Death Battle it is quite difficult to tell Because Ganon's and Dracula's canonical Power Levels are very much variating throughout the Games.
Ganon's Power for example goes from just a simple dark Magician without any Artifacts in his posession (yet still capable to kill Guardian Deities) all the way to him becomming a potentially Omnipotent God with the full Triforce in his Posession.
And Dracula's Power goes from just the Soul of a Vampire Lord fueling him and making him become a Vampire himself all the way to him having control over the Chaotic Realm.
Meaning the Differences between Ganon's Power Levels are much wider than for Dracula since Drac's Powers go from the Power of a Soul to the Power of a Universe while Ganon's Power can go from the ones of a regular but quite powerful Warlock all the way up to Infinity.
To show this a bit better, if their Power Levels would be scaled after Buildingheights:
Dracula's Power from 50 Meters to ≈ 10^2000 Lightyears, assuming the Chaotic Realm has the same size as we assume our own Universe to be (To explain 10^2000, Imagine the number "1" and multiply it 2000 times with 10 so that you'll have a One with 2000 digits behind it as a result)
And Ganondorf's Power would go from 10 Meters to Infinite Meters
As for smash where neither have their true powers and also lack their invulnerabilities to every to Non-Holy-Attacks this was just bad luck for Ganon Because the Dracula CPU unleashed a Multi Hit Attack that drastically drained Ganon's HP

Can I suggest an "RPG" Challenge? Both against one of those bosses. Stamina battle, both of you handicapped to 100HP. Team attack on. I do not have that mod, so I don't know if that is possible.

the tournament was pretty Lore Accurate.
Ganon is unkillable by normal means. only a relic, made by the Goddess Hylia, like the Master Sword for example, can stop him. But Dracula is an actual God & Satan slayer.
Facts 💯💯💯 the only thing i would say is Marx is the most OP boss lore wise. I believe he’s Galaxy Level threat 🧐 I could be wrong though, but he’s Solar System Level without a doubt. That is do remember from the game.
The Sun is dying and Kirby fights Marx to protect the dying Star. Marx is a bch to fight, but is more fair fighting him as Meta Knight (Meta Knight is broken in the Kirby Game too 🔥💀).
