I made salmon and peas for the 4th of July holiday here in the US. Great combo, I made it with roast potatoes but this recipe really sounds good. I will have to try this. 🥰💕❤️👍👍
Upvoted as I have all these ingredients in my freezer, pantry or fridge all the time but never realized how easy it is to combine, modify and cook. Its a weekday fast food for me.
Albert: Too dang delicious. *_I❤SALMON !!!_* A WILL-make. I have every ingredient now - except the salmon. On the list for today. Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
This looks great. I do have a suggestion though and I speak from experience on salmon. I live in Washington state and catch and cook my own salmon. I could tell by looking at the salmon when you used your fork you had over cooked it some. I suggest only searing one side and don't place into pan until the rice is finished. When you pull the pan place the salmon in then cover to let the steam to finish the salmon. Most folks over cook salmon and don't realize it's better looking a bit undercooked. Give it a try this way and you will take your salmon cooking to a new level. 😋
Oh wow! I need to get a paella pan suitable for induction hob. I’m nervous about the burnt rice bottom though, I have to admit. However I’ve tried loads of Alberts recipes and they always turn out a big hit! 🤗🏴
I've been eyeing some paella pans recently too. All that space! I've done a decent socarrat with regular steel pans using this method. Just keep an eye on it and it's pretty easy.
Que rico another great recipe! Gotta try it! Only thing I would do differently is to include some beer 🍺 or white wine in the broth. Great recipe for Fridays and lent.
Why do I always watch your recipes in the evening? Now I can’t sleep. I am just wandering if I still have salmon in the freezer or if I have to go shopping tomorrow
Yo brother, I have been watching your videos for a while. I love your recipes but one thing that always used to annoy me, is that at the end of your video, you used to rush eating and it was so unnatural. Now, at the end of your videos, you enjoy your food and take your time - some videos, you actually take a second bite. I have subbed to your channel now. Keep doing you and stay relaxed. Your content is far superior to others as you bring something different.
Believe me! in Spain salmons come from Norway The only authentically Spanish thing in this recipe is the strumming of the guitar at the beginning of the video... the rest is as iconically fake as a Loewe handbag... made in China. Enjoy the fake and imaginative recipe (why not?)! ¡Buen provecho!
Ummm, no. The salmon should be cooked separately, to completion. Then, add the cooked salmon back into the paella pan along with the cooking rice and peas. That way, you do not get problems from undercooked fish. Having lived in places where food quality of marine resources is a real problem, I INSIST on thorough cooking of fish (and I will spare you the gory details). Otherwise, good video. Keep 'em coming, SOAF!
It seems as though the salmon was steamed through from the scorching rice stage and covering the pan at the end. Regardless, he must have access to high-quality salmon to be able to eat it seared. And sushi-grade salmon is delicious.
@@unknowndeoxys00I agree, salmon does not take long to cook and the steam would do the job. Looks delicious! Luckily there are many ways to do things, something for everyone. Peace and love to all!
Oh yes, it's on the menu for tonight 😋
BOOM! 🎉 Definitely a winner
Me too 😊
Hope you enjoy! Much love :)

Hi Albert, do you think a flat bottom wok will work to substitute a paella pan? It seems similar, but the heat might be too high... :C
I am sure it will work, just keep an eye on the heat! Much love :)
Can I make this with cod? I don't have salmon.
Absolutely! Much love :)

Saffron is SO expensive - what does the saffron do? - other than introduce a mild reddish hue?
❤👌

Looks great but too much salt. Salmon is naturally salty anyway! Will omit it. Thanks for recipe 😊
I think i will use brocoli instead of peas!
Sounds great! Much love :)

How much does it cost a year to feed that high horse you road in on?
