- PUMPING HOT AIR INTO MY HOME
I bought one of these for my garage, and then thought....... I could heat my home with this! So that's exactly what i did! It is working great pumping hot air into my home. It is keeping us nice and warm and super economical.
I have a carbon monoxide detector just in case, but you don't get any fumes indoors at all
.
I hope this may help you in some way. Even if it just makes an idea pop up in your head, of how you can heat your home in cheaper way.

2:00 I have to admit, I saw the exposed 230 volt electrical connections and my jaw hit the floor!
Please, please put the cover on!

I’d definitely put a thick plastic splash cover on the wall behind, above and below the heater body, accidents can and will happen, you don’t want wall panels and wall joists having diesel contamination.
Not better, but safer - you need to cover that 240v stuff, no bueno. 12v section is fine.
I'd stick half a project box over the PSU, with a grip/grommet for the 240v cable. ATM that's dangerous as.
I'm curious as to what your average winter temperature is and roughly how many square feet you're heating?
