it would have been easier if the drop links would have come undone! I would recommend changing these at the same time as they will be rusted. Benefits are that they allow you to lower the vehicle to exactly the height you desire and are easily alterable if you need to, also, you can stiffen up the dampening if you were say going to take the car on a track....all in all, very adjustable piece of kit!
usually, if you are lowering a vehicle, you get shorter or adjustable sway bar links, contact the company where you bought your coilovers from for more info
I have spent hours on you-tube looking at coilovers and suspension geometry, I need a lot and have just spent a small fortune buying everything new, phew! thousands of dollars, I am not buying anything new for a year. @@philscars
Nice video looked to be what needed. Until. I left due to music/ voice volume being so distracting to continue fellowing. Just use back ground music if you feel you need to use it at all. We came for information not distraction. Thanks but no sub.
Sorry about that, I just rewatched this video and it seems perfectly balanced with the music, I.e. Music is low when I'm talking and jumps up to normal level when we are working, this is the same on 90% of the car videos I watch, so not sure what your issue is?

Those smaller bolts are called crash bolts. They're smaller diameter so you can adjust camber at the knuckle
The back install looked like a lot of work. Curious, what is the overall benefit of these, a 'smoother' ride, or something else?
