Mike, another great teaching video, your comfort level in front of the camera transfers your ability to explain the methods very clearly and demonstrate's your high skill level. The Nish family is so fortunate to have another generation to carry on the legacy that Dale started. Thank You for continuing to share the knowledge.
What a gorgeous platter. That walnut is beautiful and love the design. Is there a risk that the Scratch Free will leave a wax residue behind that prevents the Tried and True finish from penetrating? Just wondering. Thank you for another awesome video!
Very nice. where can you but the Claro Walnut in the size you used in the video? Also I would have use a longer tool rest. Thanks for another great video.
The only thing lately that comes out of CA that's positive, curly Claro Walnut! You have to know someone or have a career other than woodturning to afford that nice of a blank. Is the platter for sale on the website? Terrific demo. Thanks.

Mind-boggling grain. Wonderful job bringing out the beauty in this wood.
Wonderful.. you did mother nature proud! (I'm so glad you didn't accidentally hit it on your spindle threads flipping from front to back 😂)
Thank you! 😊
That wood is totally off-the-hook incredible.
Perfect job, thank you so much for great video
Beautiful!!!❤❤❤

Beautiful work, now the real question, where can the common man or woman find this kind of turning blank?
Hie thee to your local specialty hardwood supplier. They will have offcuts and drops that you can use for this stuff.
what are cha chas and caliper? In the UK so not sure what you are referring to.
"Obviously wear eye protection and a face shield."
I guess one out of two ain't bad
