Lots of nine second quarter mile passes were made with bias ply tires back in the 70's with the quadrojet carburetor. The people talking crap about them just don't know how they work!
Buick, Oldsmobubble & Pontyrag all made one. The only common parts were the carbatater, the field windings on the starter, the distributor caps, and the alternator sometimes w/out even changing the clock-timing of the alt.'s case
I love to see someone adjust the carburetor especially when they have no idea what their doing, myself I would go buy a Sun Machine. I'm sure he could fix it then 😂😂😂
